My credit card information was taken here. And the bad for them is that the only recent other purchases made on my card was Walgreen. A place ive been going to for years. where your card never leaves your hand. Hit thier drive thru and hand them my card. The next day someone went on a spending spree. Watch them. Good chicken put hire a lot of illegals.

Holy Guacamole !!! This place rocks! I walk in this joint at 7 pm. Its rock in, drive thru packed, line inside, I get online and start looking at then menu. Man its loud in this place and I don’t understand a thing being said.(Reminded me of home) I decide on carne asada. I get to the counter and the gal smiles and says a salutation in Spanish. I have no idea what she is saying but she is a pro and looks good, I know I’m in good hands. I order a #2 and large coke, $ 12.29. Not cheap. I pay, get some chips and green sauce(a fellow helpers suggestion) and sit down. I had to bus the table, but I’m not tripping, these folks are hustling As I’m waiting for my food(which was brought to me) I start to look around. These people are eating, laughing, kids are yelling, spelling drinks, being feed by pregnant moms. Dads in caps with«Texas» or American flags on the front are doling out pinto beans and rice, pieces of BBQ chicken, tortillas, Grandmas and grandpa’s are eating soup and stuffed pablano peppers. Man O Man this is pure AMERICANA !!! My order arrives with a smile from a little plump cutie and I can tell immediately the beef is chargrilled perfectly. The grilled jalapeño is super. I open the foil and there are 5 tortillas, that’s right!, 5. The rice is hot moist and fluffy the pintos are soft but not mushy and seasoned great. I dig in. A moment or two later I come up for air and standing by my table is a Lil children, she is dressed in pink and saying something to me in Spanish I ask her if she was having fun, she effortlessly switched to English and smiled saying she was very full and she walked off I returned to my meal and thanked God I live in such a great country It doesn’t get much better then this!!!

First time trying these tacos. I would call this a hit! And I’ll hit it a few more times! Lol tacos were tasty. The chicken was seasoned well and tender. Lots of cilantro, onions like I like. Their beans, rice, and pico de gallo on the side were all tasty. I think i paid a pretty penny for all that I got but since I like eating like Queen, I splurged here for my first time. I’ll have to pick and choose what I want next time cause it can get pricey! I’m such a foodie #nomnom

Wow. The drive-thru line gets ridiculously long during peak hours, but it’s all worth it when you smell the mouth-watering aroma of roasted chicken. After trying it once, my boyfriend and I came to get it a second time in the same week. Yes, it was that good, and yes, the long line and average prices are so worth the amount of food. Highly recommend #1, which is a whole roasted chicken and two sides: beans and rice. They also throw in a few tortillas and salsa/green cream sauce, which all totals to about $ 17. It’s easily enough to feed 3 people. During both visits, the chicken came heavily seasoned with a nice char along the edges. The meat is more on the dry side, but the sauces made up for that. My boyfriend usually downs the Mexican rice in 3 bites and leaves me, maybe, 5 grains. It’s a very moist rice that has a slight tomato-like flavor with some spice. I’m a huge fan of the crack beans, which is a watery(almost soup-like) consistency. I don’t usually eat beans, but when you throw in pieces of bacon and pork rinds, which they do, then I’m all for it. We’re pretty huge on quesadillas, and the ones here are great. We always go for the beef, which gives us some variety from the chicken. If you ever order quesadillas in the drive-thru, it’s going to be at least a 7 minute wait. They most likely make/heat them when you order, so it takes a while. I would say the meat is similar to the chicken, in the sense that it also has a tender bite with a crisp char. Pair it with the green cream sauce/guac/sour cream and you’ll be set for a good meal. I believe quesadillas are #11 on the menu(don’t quote me). Well worth the visit. Be weary of the area and the line during peak hours. I’ll be back to try more menu items!

I think it was the location but I was disappointed in this one. They messed up the order, and the mole was not bueno at all. They literally took roasted whole chicken pieces and covered them with mole sauce which was grainy. That’s it. Hard to eat. And they were out of churros! That sucked big time. How do you run out, it’s one of the staples you should always have. Maybe that put a downer on my experience to. My poor churros… we did not have our time together. Plus side, chicken quesadilla was good, although I had ordered a burrito plate :-/ And Horchata was delicious.

I’m going to have to drop a star, because I love the food there, but their service is terrible. Last night, I’d ordered a lunch special, and they’d given me the wrong order, but I didn’t notice until I was already back at work. I ate one of the sides, not realizing that it wasn’t my food, until I opened up the main box for the entrée, in which case I drove all the way back there to ask for MY food, that I’d already paid for, and they said that because I already ate one of the sides(the main entrée was still untouched), that I would have to pay for it. Why would I have to pay for THEM messing up my order and me having to drive back there? They should’ve just given it all to me for free for messing it up and making me drive back. Also, every time I go through the drive through, no matter what I order at the ordering area, by the time I get to the window to pay, they’ve messed up my order, and so what’s the point of even ordering beforehand?

Love the food and the drive through, but having to pull forward with 3 other cars before me defeated the purpose of ordering fast food.

Just tried thus place for the first time and I have to admit it’s really good. I had the loaded potato which was so big it could of fed a small village in a third world country. The food is fresh made to order and the meat has a great grilled taste. If you haven’t tried this place please do because you will be recommending it once you do.

Had one of the best grilled chicken in the area. Away from India i was depressed not to find restaurants with grilled chicken, found this today, and very happy with the taste. Bought half grilled chicken combo, which came with beans curry, 5 tortillas and two types of sauces. Although i was not prepared to have that big meal, but with that taste i couldn’t resist. Probably i would share this combo with my friend. But, for sure i will be visiting this place often.

I live nearby and will sometimes stop by and grab dinner. Food is definitely nothing to complain about but the service is horrible. If you have time pass by and expect a wait of 1015 minutes. This is not one experience but it never fails I am always asked to pull up and wait. Mind you I’m ordering for 2 people.

This is one of the best Pollo Regios in the DFW! The green sauce is always constantly amazing, and so are the other salsas. The chicken here is always fresh, and the onion they serve with the chicken is always cooked to perfection. I would come here everyday for the $ 8.11 lunch special if i could! Love Pollo Regio!!!

I LOVE El Pollo Regio! The chicken is soooo flavorful. Or if I were to say it in Spanish, que rico pollo. They cook the chicken on a grill, which you can smell as soon as you drive up or walk in. In addition to chicken, they have burgers, loaded baked potatoes, and more traditional Mexican food. Even the chicken comes with rice and beans. This location is busy day and night because the chicken is so good. While I like to go in and eat sometimes, this location is great for grabbing food to go. My expert tip? Try the spicy green avocado sauce. It will burn your lips off but it’s sooo good and soooo worth it. Just make sure to drink lots of water.
