Once again best food ever. Asked & accommodated to toss in Buffalo sauce. Awesome service by wait staff.

Start with the good. I’ve always enjoyed the food. Good burger, sandwiches, nachoes, fried pickles. The last time I went there was during a mavs playoff game. They acted put out to change the channels and turn up the sound. Wonder why the sports bar is empty? Well besides not having the only event on at that time, you don’t have to look far past the bartender. She was a very uninformed employee, though she said she was the manager. She didn’t know the special that was literally plastered all over the bar that started that night. I had to point out the special flyer. At the end of the night she didn’t even charge me the special price. Clueless. Also my friend ordered a drink and they didn’t bring it out in the right glassware, two different times, so the drink was too watered down. It seems as though this place and their bartender could use a little bar rescue.

This bar is awesome, especially on a Saturday. They sponsor a rugby team who treat you like family and make you feel like you’re at home. The bartenders are friendly and make some delicious drinks. I haven’t tried too much of the food here, but we did get the bacon, cheddar fries and those were eaten up fairly quickly. I’d recommend this bar if you’re looking for a great atmosphere, friendly bartenders and great drinks.

Great bar. Except on Saturdays. The bar sponsors a rugby team and those ‘gentlemen’ are in the bar on Saturdays singing racist, homophobic, and misogynistic songs. Wouldn’t advise visiting on Saturday evenings.

Great atmosphere! The smoked chicken anything is amazing! We love coming here to relax. The place is always clean. It has a nice little patio in the back.

My daughter & I had lunch here last week. She loves Fried Pickles — so, we ordered some for her. I had a couple of them & they were actually great.(I’m not usually a big fan of fried pickles.) These guys were lightly battered & fried. I had a big burger with mushrooms and it was pretty good. My daughter got the Chicken Strips. We got there about noon. It was a nice place & pretty big — but, was surprisingly empty. At Noon! I felt badly for the business. I’m pretty sure that they do well in the evenings, though.

Great food! Best hidden away sports bar in arlington… they run shuttles to all games! Staff is great and family friendly… The brisket is fabulous! We went in for dinner and they had the Arlington Police Dept. association Christmas party… we all had a great time!

Came here for the first and absolute last time ever about a month ago around 11:30/12ish at night. I called them right before the kitchen closed because I was super hungry and was craving nachos. Checked the reviews on Unilocal and decided my mind was set on the brisket nachos. I tried to call them in to order via phone, but I was told I couldn’t do that, I had to be present to order– which I have never heard of and thought to be super unprofessional. That place must be really hard up I thought! My roommate and I walked in, this place was absolutely dead minus the 7 guys that were hanging out in a corner. I ordered the nachos from this middle aged guy who said he’d be right back to «make them» I was slightly confused because I thought that was the cook’s job. It literally took him 20 min to come back, I opened the to-go box and was satisfied; until I got home. I should’ve inspected the nachos because the brisket meat was OLD, DRY, and DISGUSTING! You know when the meat is so old and dry the edges flip upward and are very crusty? Yes, that’s what they gave me to consume! Half way through the nachos I almost threw up and just tossed them in the trash. My jaws hurt so bad from chewing halfway through the disgusting nachos. A good $ 9 wasted! Won’t ever be back!

Fun place to hang out! I’ve been here for a party on the big patio, for football Sunday, for lunch just ‘cuz, etc. Good drink specials, really decent food menu, especially for a bar! Great customer service for the party hosted here too. A very accommodating owner and staff. It’s kind of off a side road in the industrial part of downtown Arlington, so look for the sign that says«Open for lunch!» That’s the only signage to speak of. =)

This bar allows drunks through the door. On top of that they openly humiliate and disrespect veterans. If your a low life perfect place to drink.

I can’t see or think of one bad thing to say about this place! Whoever invented this bar deserves a thumbs up! It’s NO smoking which is amazing!!! I hate going to a bar and leaving, smelling like an ash tray! The bathrooms are soooooooooooo clean!!! The bartenders wrk together as a team and have been very attentive to our needs! We came on a UFC fight night and I am looking forward to returning next week! The food looks amazing. I am super impressed with this bar! I want to high five the owner and all the workers!

Came here on a Monday night and the place was pretty dead, a couple of tables were playing poker and then it was us. It was $ 2.75 jack and back night though. Place has multiple TVs, pool table, darts etc…

Hours say they are open until 2 but there kitchen closes after 12. Unilocal is falsely advertising there hours of operations with regards to there food.

Really nice little sports bar. Always like the staff, drinks are never watered down, they have a good selection, and the food is pretty decent for your average bar fare. They are cool about turning the TV to whatever game you want to watch and the furniture and layout is really nice and clean for a bar off the beaten path.

In from out of town and was looking for a fun bar to watch football at, and this place did not disappoint. Outside looks are deceiving but when you walk inside, it’s super nice and pretty spacious. The wait staff was incredibly nice, personable, and very attentive. We never had to wait around for another drink or look around to find out waiter if we needed anything. We ordered chips, queso, and salsa. The salsa tasted homeade, which is important because us Texans are salsa snobs. My friend ordered grilled chicken salad and said it was amazing. As the night progressed, it changed into more of a bar scene. It was a really great time and I definitely would come back here again next time I visit.

Very casual atmosphere. This is a smoke free bar and Grill which is very rare. They are good for kids and family if you come early. They have a very good menu and all the food is what you would expect from a bar and Grill. There is smoking on the back patio but this not not affect the inside. The owners are the nicest people you could want to meet. The place can even be booked for private parties. They sponsor the Mavericks rugby team so you know this place rocks. Please give it a try. The only thing missing is trivia. Red

Ever feel like finding a sports bar that’s not a chain restaurant, with good food, good drinks, lots of space and doesn’t smell an ashtray? And with cheap prices? Well travel no further than the Mavericks Bar & Grill. I’ve been a handful of times and one thing I can confidently say is that it’s consistent. In a great way. My food of choice is the Lemon Pepper Chicken sandwich with the sweet potato fries. Yeah. Lemon. Pepper. Chicken. Sandwich. It’s just as delicious as it sounds. Sweet potato fries have always been kind of hit and miss with me. All too often, they’ll be soggy and not cooked thoroughly but these guys have mastered the secret. Crispy on the our side, soft on the inside and not loaded down with oil and salt. Best sweet potato fries I’ve ever tasted in the Metroplex. The bar is huge and offers a lot of variety. Domestic and foreign beer, ciders, wine, spirits of all sorts. And the bartenders & waitstaff have been friendly and fast, every time I’ve gone by. The pool table stays ready for a player or four. The TVs are giant and can be seen in every direction. Who knew such awesomeness could lie in the forgotten streets of Arlington? I did. And now, you do too.

This place is awesome! I’m from El Paso, so when I walked in and saw the UTEP Miners neon sign, I knew I was home. We have a few Maverick’s back in EP with the same logo so I figured this was in some way related. It is! Except this Maverick’s is the swanky DFW version, with the same laid back El Paso vibe. It’s huge with plenty of seating and televisions for the sports fanatic. They had great drink specials on a Saturday during college football season. We were there to watch the Shamrock Series and my aunt researched this place and found they provided free shuttles to AND from AT&T Stadium. The driver gave us his cell phone number and told us to shoot us a text when we were ready to be picked up. The entire staff was friendly and very attentive. We ended up hanging out there after the game and getting some small appetizers. They had a crowd, which they hadn’t expected and their kitchen closed early. They told us if it could be fried they would serve it(in true Texas fashion!) Maverick’s saved a crappy experience at AT&T Stadium and made my night much more enjoyable with their great staff and friendly atmosphere!
