This place was amazing! My friend and I randomly picked this place off of Google and we were not disappointed! Everything we ordered was good. I had a salad with ginger sauce and we ordered grilled chicken with peanut sauce and shrimp spring rolls as appetizers. The peanut sauce was amazing. I also ordered Pineapple Curry as my main meal and it was great. There are a lot of menu items to choose from and the service was great as well!

We were in the area and found this nice small independent restaurant. A menu with a variety of entrees that made me hesitate if it was going to be good. We decided on one chicken speciality and a Tofu Pad, both were delicious. Don’t be fooled that is next to a laundry place, you will be surprised by the excellent food, service, and the background music.

So delicious. I’ve lived here for about 2 years. Why have I never been here before. Kind of tucked away in a strip mall with lots of Vietnamese shops. Made it for lunch and had the Red curry with pork. Lunch specials also come with a spring roll and choice of soup or salad. They weren’t busy. One customer was in the restaurant and left as we sat down. I guess that’s what happens when you got to lunch at 2pm. Service was excellent– quick and courteous. Everything was delicious and not expensive. They have a huge menu so I’ll definitely be back to try more.

My brother recommended this place, and we decided to go as a family. While the portions were huge, the pad thai tasted like straight ketchup, the pad see ew lacked noodles and contained overcooked chopped vegetables, and the lad na was disappointing. My sister got the beef noodle soup, which reminded her of a sweeter phở, but she didn’t have more than a few bites before begging to trade us for something else. It was my parents’ first time trying Thai food, and they were not impressed — even suggesting we should’ve just gone to Phở 95 in the same shopping center. I can’t say I’m a Thai food connoisseur, but nothing tasted right. Dinner prices are fair and lunch prices look more appealing, but I don’t think we’ll be returning.

I’ve been here several times. I don’t know why I’m just giving them a review. Boo ME! Every time I go I get Pad Thai. I really like it here. So… yeah…I am a creature of habit. I go for what it is that I like. Usually, I have no complaints WHATSOEVER… but last night, the waiter asked me level of spiciness(1 – 5). I said 4 thinking that would be hot enough, but NOPE… not this time. So a friend went and got one of those oil and spice racks, and then I did my magic. Voila! Perfection! This lil satisfying dish is dee-light-full! I always take some home because the portions are very generous. I can only imagine that there is some native Thai street vendor in the kitchen stir frying, and chopping it up in the kitchen. Perfectly tender noodles, sweet and spicy, sauce, lots of garlicy goodness. It smells and looks lovely. I wish I would’ve taken a picture. this time I had it with shrimp. I usually order the tofu with egg. You can order it with or without egg by the way. One friend ordered the drunken noodle. I assume that it was delicious because he ate it all before we could get a taste. Another friend ordered a sweet, curry soup like dish with chicken and shrimp in it. Oh, and there were noodles in it too. I tasted that dish and it was good also. The only element that disappointed all of us was the lack of «heat», we wanted SPICY! But, we were greeted promptly… as soon as you walk through the door. The waiter was attentive. Food came out quickly. I get the hot tea– so no waiting for refills. The prices are nice and reasonable. Ambiance: :-/mehhh… I go for the food, not the décor. Service: :-) Food: Two thumbs up! It is in an Asian strip mall, next to a Dollar Store and a laundry. Plenty of parking, easy to find, quick– in and out. If you are in the area check ‘em out. **And, you can order food to go!

Came here for lunch with my family. Not my first time here but this will be my last. First off, the service was HORRIBLE. The waitresses were so rude and seemed annoyed. Second, they served me, my dad AND my aunt raw fish and weren’t apologetic about it. Good riddance, never returning!

Unfortunately, I was not as impressed as some other reviewers. Restaurant was busy at lunch, which is a good sign. However, what stuck out was the virtual lack of anyone vaguely Asian eating there in a restaurant where many Asians live. I was greeted promptly, and my tea came out quickly. That was the last time I saw the waitress; after I finished the tea, that was the last time I had anything to drink because no one brought me a refill(even the gentleman who brought me my food). It took longer than I expected for the food. I ordered the«Spicy Dish», and asked for 4 out of 5 for heat. I was expecting a good burn, but it was only vaguely spicy, and a little sweet at that. The steamed vegetables that accompanied the dish were flavorless — no salt, pepper, nothing. The chicken was(as reported elsewhere) 100% breast meat, so it was bland too. The first time my dish came out, it had a random piece of metal on the plate(it turned out to be the springs from a pair of tongs). I pointed it out, asking«what is that?» and they said they would«immediately remake the dish». About 2 minutes later, I was brought what was said to be new food, but it left me wondering how, if it took 15 minutes to make it the first time, they could remake it from scratch within 2 minutes. For a dish that had just been made, it wasn’t very warm. I really think it was the same food. There are so many better places. I’m not Asian at all; I’m so Anglo I could have come on the Mayflower. But I think I know a thing or two about what Thai should taste like, and this wasn’t it. No savory, no umami, no sour here — way too sweet.

DISAPPOINTED!!! I wanted to try this place because I was craving Thai food. The flavor of the green curry was bland and there was hardly any chicken. The«blanket of shrimp» was salty. I paid dinner prices for lunch portions. RIDICULOUS!!! One star because the food was bland and expensive for portions. Maybe it was an off day but I won’t take my chances again.

Simply delicious. I’ve had several of their lunch specialties, and all of them have been very tasty and have not disappointed! Their curry is amazing, and the fried rice is possibly one of the best I’ve had. The servers are always very attentive, and you can tell they care about you having a good experience at their restaurant. Try to get there closer to 11am for lunch, as they are normally packed at noon, mostly because the food is amazing.

Very tasty, great place for the price and not a better Thai place around. Good stuff all in all. The soups are great. The curries are tasty. Very small place with good service.

My absolute favorite local Thai spot. Over time I’ve brought probably a dozen friends, family, and co-workers here and ordered most of the veg dishes off the menu, and there hasn’t been a single thing I haven’t enjoyed. My particular favorites are the green curry(all the curries are delicious) and the eggplant, while my boyfriend prefers the red curry and Pad See Ew, and several friends rave about the duck dishes. The price is right, too, particularly for the lunch specials, which come in perfectly satisfying portions with a soup or salad and spring roll. The owners, Nina and Michael, run a tight ship — friendly staff, great food bursting with flavor and fresh ingredients, and the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. They run a hopping lunch hour, though, so it’s generally a good idea to get there before noon — not that they’ll keep you waiting, you’ll just get a quieter experience. The place is small, but well configured to accommodate the bustle, even at peak hours. In the evenings it slows down and becomes a nice, cozy spot for a date or a dinner where you’ll be able to hear yourself think. A note about spice levels: their standard spice scale is from 1 – 5, but that’s very conservative. I generally order my dishes at a 10, and Thai hot is closer to 13 or 15. If you’re feeling brave or know that you can handle the heat, don’t be shy about going outside the lines. I just wish they had a loyalty program so I could sign up for it. :-)

This is still my favorite Thai restaurant in the mid cities. Went this weekend for the first time in about a year as I moved from the area and the food is still wonderful. We had a fairly large group and ate a little of everything off the menu. Everyone from the littlest to the grandparents ate every last bite. The spicy level seems to be more conservative than I remember though, will have to go hotter next time. That being said they can make it a little spicer if it’s too mild for you when you try it.

Started with the combo appetizer that was beautiful and tasted wonderful! It came with corn patties, crab Angels, shrimp in a blanket, fried tofu and curry puffs with 3 different sauces. We always eat family style so we ordered Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Sweet and Sour — Thai style and Seafood Pad Cha. We were not disappointed in anything. Each dish was as good or better than the next one. Each dish came with salad, we got 2 with peanut dressing and 1 with ginger dressing and they were all really delicious! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, especially Michael(one of the owners). He explained each dish to us and let us know that everything we had eaten, including the sauces, were made from scratch at the restaurant. After a year of searching for a great Thai restaurant in the metroplex, we finally found it!!!

I was here last month. Being pregnant I was craving Thai food. Long story short I ordered the Thai basil fried rice, drunken noodles, and sweet and sour soup. Well my disappointment came when I tasted the rice. I wasn’t expecting it to be sweet. I’ve had several Thai basil fried rice when I was living in Allen tx and I know that dish does not have a sweet taste in the background or cooked in some kind of sweet sauce. The same thing for the noodles. I expected the soup to be sweet based on the name of the soup. I left very hungry and upset I packed the remaining home to my husband and went to a near by phở place to satisfy my belly. I’m not sure if its my fault for not asking but I’ve had several Thai dishes. While I was living in Los Angeles until I moved here and I’ve never been disappointed in my Thai meals until I came to this place. If you don’t want your meal to be drenched in sugary sauce beware or ask the waiter which meal does not come out tasting like desert. Unless of course you’re into such meals

Best mid range Thai restaurant on a 20 miles radius. They have these cream cheese and carrot egg rolls that are addictive! Paired with the green or red curry it’s always a hit! The owner here is very caring of the clients and the quality of everything, as is seen when he comes by religiously to check on every table. The décor here is very authentic and they have cozy little private sectioned off booths with partitions for total privacy. I recommend the tom yum gung, and other hot bowls to share!!! My go to local Thai joint!!!

Taste of Thai is a small restaurant tucked away in a parking lot next to a few other small restaurants. They have a standard Thai food menu with a handful of well-priced lunch specials. I was happy to see that they servced Khao Soy, my favorite Thai dish. it’s northern, so not all restaurants have it. I tried the Khao Soy. It was good; not the best I’ve ever had, but tasty and flavorful. I also got a to-go order of Pad Thai to take home to my boyfriend. I tried it when he ate it, and it was good too. Again, we weren’t blown away, but it’s nice to know there’s a tasty Thai place not too far away.

I was impressed with my first visit to Taste of Thai! The Tom Yum Goong was amazing. I think I could eat it daily. We had 4⁄5 spicy level and it was just right. For the main course, I had Spicy Dish with beef and that was delicious! My guy had the Thai Basil and said it was really good. Great service and the waiter took time to explain their most popular dishes to me. Looking forward to my next meal there!

East side of Arlington is loaded with Asian restaurants. Taste of Thai is one of my favorites. Super friendly staff who are always on top of things making sure you have what you need. The décor isn’t going to ow your mind but let’s be honest, you’re not here for the décor or how it looks. The food is great. I haven’t had anything bad. I’m writing this review after having the Penang curry with chicken. Amazing dish. Just enough heat but it didn’t over power the dish. My girlfriend had the chicken pad Thai and it was just as good. Highly recommend, you’ll always leave happy! Michael, my curry was at a level 2 while my girlfriends pad Thai was at a 4. Can’t wait to come back and try the red curry.

Came here with with friends after touring the Ripley’s museum of art. We came at a weird time 3ish and were unsure if they were even open but they seated us. I ordered the curry puffs and the Pad See Eew, the curry puffs were good and I enjoyed the sauce that came with them, the pad See Eww was good as well(can’t really mess it up). The server was kind enough to give us an extra salad for my friend whose entrée did not come with a salad, on the flip side the salad had a hair… The assorted tempura she ordered was good but the shrimp had a different batter than the vegetables, the vegetables were battered in your traditional Japanese tempura mix, but the shrimp that it came in were a totally different batter similar to the ones that you can buy in the freezer section of stores(which I’m pretty sure is what they were from). The service was okay, the food(depending on what you get) is around average, probably will not come back though.

Finally found, a delicious, authentic Thai restaurant in the Arlington area! Came in for lunch on a weekend. During weekdays they have lunch specials available. Even on weekends, when you order, you get a free side salad. I had mine with peanut dressing. They’re generous with their salad portion size. Pad Prik King — Ordered w/chicken. It’s green beans with a dry red curry paste. I ordered a spice level of 4⁄5 and it was nice and spicy. I love this dish, and I’m glad Taste of Thai did it justice. The most authentic pad prik king I’ve had in DFW so far. Pad See Eew — Wide, flat noodles with egg, and broccoli. Wow. Amazing. BF ordered this dish with beef. After trying a bite, I had to ask him for another taste. This dish rivals King of Thai’s version in San Francisco. Service has room for improvement. BF needed water. We asked the waitress for water and she forgot. It wasn’t until 10min later, after reminding her, did she bring the water. She was sincerely apologetic which we appreciated. There was a waiter working at the time also, but he was busy cleaning tables and never looked up when walking back and forth that we couldn’t flag him down either.
