New to the area and tried Randi’s out based on the reviews. Sadly disappointed from the time we sat down. The dining room was unpleasantly warm, perhaps they had AC issues or something. The pizza crust tasted like frozen from the grocery store. The Stromboli had sliced American cheese melted in it. The service was just ok. Our server only came by towards the end of the meal to ask if we wanted refills since our glasses had been empty for quite awhile. Nothing to rave about at all and we won’t be returning.

This is a family friendly old Arvada standby. Reminds me of when I was a kid and how exciting it was to go out for pizza at Shakey’s! The kids love coming here for pizza. So do I. They make a good pizza, sell soda by the pitcher to keep kids happy, and a happy hour that keeps parents happy, thus making an overall pleasant early evening dining experience with 5 kids possible. The décor, charmingly dated, invites you to relax, step back to a simpler time and enjoy the good food and family fun.

We moved to Arvada from Denver recently. I was skeptical about Randi’s because of its strip mall location, but I’m so happy we gave it a try! We’ve only had takeout, but everything we’ve had tastes great and is fresh.(special shout out to the eggplant baked dinner… it’s so good!) The pasta tastes homemade and reminds my fiancé of his Italian grandmother’s recipe, and that is saying a lot! We are happy to have discovered Randi’s and will spread the word!

Just awful! The sauce is canned, and if it is actually home made, fire the one who came up with that recipe. The pizza dough tastes freezer burned and is cooked unevenly, raw and overcooked in areas. Service from our waitress was just ok, but the host definitely needs to change his confusing greeting. ‘Pick a table and I will follow you’ is not the way to greet guests. How places like this get good ratings just puzzles me!

Good pizzeria food, well established spot. My cannoli was delicious. But it would have been perfect with some ricotta in there. Pure perfection, I say. The poor girl taking the order had no idea what that was, and I didn’t feel like making her job a pain any further with words that sound more like sounds. Please, Mr. Randi Sir, teach these young pups the way of the Italian-American man’s eating habits! My genes, they are appeased by the extra fatty goodness that is… RICOTTA!

This restaurant has been a family favorite since before my parents were married almost 30 years ago. Maybe this is nostalgia talking, but it is our favorite pizza place hands down. When we go out of town we order pizzas before we even get home because when we eat Randi’s we know it’s official that we are back home. However, I don’t think it is only my nostalgia that makes me love this place because I have yet to meet a person that doesn’t love it as well, and it’s been there for so long that they certainly seem to be doing it right.

Drove past this place hundreds of times and have never went in. Tried it for the first time tonight. Loved it! Had the stromboli and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had! Very nice atmosphere, service was fantastic! Can’t wait to go back!

Our family enjoys Randis. We have always had decent food and prices are reasonable. Randis makes our favorite pizza! Ordering in or take out has always been good.

Started with the mozzarella sticks and some salads. Both were wonderful. Fresh made mozzarella sticks with their wonderful tomato sauce were a great way to start. The small house salad was really a good portion and the low fat Italian dressing was flavorful. We tried pizza and some of their canoli’s and they were excellent. They will customize it if you want them too and the ingredients are clearly freshly made there. I highly recommend them.

Great food. Good salads. Awesome pizza especially the chicken Alfredo pizza. Friendly staff that takes good care of you. Very reasonable prices. They do great with carry-out too. And they do it with a smile:)

Friendly staff, relaxed environment and kid friendly. Garlic Cheesy Bread is the best and a MUST, comes with freshly made marinara sauce for dipping… YUM! Pizza is amazing, lasagna is outstanding and all made from scratch! Never been disappointed.

Maybe I’m biased but, having worked here and being from a family who has been coming here since they opened back in 1977, the food is absolutely wonderful. Never disappointed with my order and for the most part the service is great!(Only time it isn’t the best is when we have a waiter or waitress who doesn’t know us, lol). We come in so much majority of our waiters know what we want to drink and eat. Pretty great if you ask me!

I found no Quino gluten free and alfalfa sprouts options THANKGOD! This traditional pizza was knock yo momma out great. Pepperoni, sausage, green chilies, bell peppers and Canadian bacon — pure heaven. Friendly local place for 37 years. On par superb with Lil Nick’s Pizza down the road at Kipling and 50th. I truly don’t understand how chain pizza joints stay in business with locals like this.

First time here last night(5⁄16). First impressions: The place is in a strip mall, which I kind of adore, as I love the mom-and-pop, small businesses. The inside is cute! Everything was extremely clean, down to the dishes(hooray!) Had the chicken special, which is grilled chicken topped with mushrooms and a side of tortellini with alfredo. Yummmm. Everything was delicious, and the chicken breast was super juicy and cooked perfectly. Service…our poor server. She was definitely new. BRAND spankin’ new. She didn’t know the menu(as in, salads come with entrees, etc), and we probably waited at least 20 minutes for our check to come. She was super sweet and friendly, and the errors she made will be erased with time. Food came out quickly, my drinks were refilled promptly, and it’s not expensive. Awesome spot.

So, let me start this off by saying my baby brother works here as a dishwasher. My journalistic background makes me feel like I need to disclose that piece of information. Anywho. My family and I love this place, we’ve been going here for years and I used to be a big fan of their giant Italian dinners. For a really reasonable price we could get a pasta entrée(with either sausage or meatball), a salad, soup, and bread. It was a ton of food, and awesome. I’m a big fan of the tortellini – it’s definitely not hand made, but whatever – with the tomato basil sauce. Now that my brother works there, though, he convinced me to try the sausage pie and it is my go-to choice whenever we go in for a visit. I’m not normally a fan of calzone type meals as they are usually too bread-y, but at Randi’s the dough is darn tasty I can’t get enough of it. The sausage pie itself is filled with yummy link sausage, cheese and green chilies. Absolutely perfect. It comes standard with red tomato sauce, but I always sub that for Randi’s super buttery Alfredo. Another great option here(especially for lunch) is the Italian salad. So, so, so tasty! I definitely recommend this place. It has a nice, friendly environment and I’ve never had a bad experience.

This is a very good, neighborhood Italian restaurant. They’ve been in business for a very long time and the reasons why are obvious. The dining room is pleasant — a bit of the feel of a sidewalk café complete with red and white checkerboard table cloths. The service is always friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable, portions are ample and the food quality is very good and consistent. The pizza is good. Pasta dishes are good. Stromboli is highly acclaimed among the regulars at Randi’s. My personal favorites include the sausage pie, Italian sausage sandwich and meatball sandwich. Bottom line, there’s nothing particularly unique about Randi’s when compared to other neighborhood Italian restaurants — they’re simply a little better than many and more consistent from one visit to the next than most.

A scratch usually starts with an itch. Well, I found a place where it’s just the opposite. Their scratch cooking makes you itch for it. And when I get that itch for Italian food made from scratch… I know just the place, Randi’s Pizza and Italian Restaurant. I can’t say everything is made from scratch, but I bet at least 85% of the menu is, give or take some tortellinis. Randi’s has been making homemade Italian dishes for over 34 years. That’s some rock solid recipes. Now, just because they serve homemade dishes from scratch, doesn’t mean you’ll find an old guy roaming the joint playing an accordion belting out Frank Sinatra songs. But you will find the red checkerboard table clothes, friendly service, those little golden wrapped butter cubes of joy and the infamous red plastic baskets sheltering your order of soft French bread. My two favorite dishes: The Italian sausage pizza with the spicy marina. The crust is baked to perfection; the Italian sausage has the perfect blend of sweet and spicy, a virtual Ying and Yang of flavor and the spicy marina is the best kept secret since Obama’s birth certificate. My second choice is the Poor boy Sandwich. They offer two sizes, small or large… trust me get the small and get it toasted. It’s loaded with pepperoni, salami, ham, mozzarella, provolone, American, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. Drizzled with that great homemade Randi’s secret Italian dressing. There just isn’t a way to describe the way the toasted bread puts a headlock on all the ingredients and squeezes every ounce of melted cheesy goodness… its flavor welding at its finest. Grab a frosty cold draft beer or quaff it with a carafe of their house Chianti. It’s not an award winner by any means, but the extra sweetness goes well with the spicy. Call it adult grape juice and you won’t be expecting anything extraordinary, but you’ll still be pleasantly surprised.
