I have low expectations for dunkin in queens but this is beyond the pale. Generally a group of 3 ladies. It really doesn’t matter who takes your order because at some point along the line your order WILL be messed up. I’ll give the employees some credit, as it seems some just learned the language a couple days ago. I’ll take credit away from dunkin for hiring an entire morning staff repeatedly who cannot process even simple orders without messing them up. My food order has been messed up ¾ last times I’ve ordered. Two of those times I got attitude?! And EVERY time, the girls(one in particular who does bagels) chat and chat with each other, gossip, often on a cell phone. I could swear I’ve even seen an eye roll or two! Clearly, dedicating more energy to their 8am gossip sesh than learning sufficient English(or at least checking how) to make a bagel with cream cheese and strawberry jam. I would have the utmost respect and understanding for those of other cultures and language barriers if they didn’t exude attitude(again, one in particular with the ‘tude) and the constant schoolgirl chatter. Plus my wasted money. Overall, 2⁄5 stars. I’d rather have cold food from the second nearest dunkin. Or maybe I’ll just go to Starbucks

Employees don’t understand you. I was ready to order and the 3 girls there were just walking around and talking. I ordered a strawberry banana smoothie which was the worse I’ve ever had. It tasted spoiled. Needs better customer service.

Time to hire people that DO speak English… Totally frustrating that I can’t communicate with the current employees.

Not the best service. Need to learn how to help people faster. Food’s the same as any other DD.

I’ve been going to this location for several years and if you look at my reviews, you’ll see I’m not a fan of local Dunkin Donuts. This one is the exception. I stop there every day before work and order the same exact thing at the same exact time. The staff has gotten to know me and usually is reaching for the cup before I even open my mouth. The egg(product) sandwiches are decent and the donuts and munchkins are pretty fresh. The coffee is good on the Dunkin Donuts scale. I don’t expect to buy couture at Target and I don’t expect gourmet food at Dunkin Donuts. If you ask why I give it 4 stars, it’s because«Yay, I am a fan» applies to me. Is this a 4 star bistro? No. But this IS a 4 star Dunkin Donuts. It’s clean and the service is good, the staff is actually pleasant and it accomplishes the task of being a Dunkin Donuts rather well. It gives me hot, decent coffee at a reasonable price and breakfasty type foods so I don’t bite anyone on the subway.

I think it’s funny that the last review was quite a long time ago and things are exactly the same. I stopped coming here awhile ago because their regular coffee tastes«off»(read: terrible). I just received a gift card, so I figured I might try again. Big mistake. The woman took my order and got it wrong as she was repeating it to the cook. I knew for sure that I was in for a treat! They prepared orders before mine for people who were behind me in line, and I thought that was strange but i figured that, since I ordered the new mocha almond flavored coffee, maybe they had to brew it specially or something. In any case, the woman before me yelled at them for dilly dallying and talking and taking too long, so I wasn’t going to also get testy with them… maybe I should have??? Ten minutes later I was about to ask what was up when one of the women asked me what I ordered… they completely forgot about my order. She started walking away as I told her, so I didn’t get to mention that I wanted skim milk in my coffee, or low fat cream cheese on my bagel.(I’ve grown accustomed to these things so I still order them, but OHWELL, getting it right isn’t as important as just getting it done). The mocha almond thing still tastes as chemically as their regular coffee. They toasted the bagel even though the word ‘toasted’ never came up during either of our conversations. It was a gooey mess by the time I got it home. Maybe they should print out a second receipt to give to the cook? There must be some way to not screw things up every single time people go in there.

this dunkin donuts is new on steinway st.(actually probably been around a yr). each time i come in, i ALWAYS hear a customer complain about their order being incorrect or forgotten. EVERYTIME. i try to speak clearly to avoid mishaps cuz i don’t think they wanna screw up my order(cuz they’ll hear the wrath of my uncaffeinated self). examples of screw ups: some woman bought 12 munchkins and apparently the lady overcharged her. like as in $ 12, lol. a man comes in & specifically asks for his coffee half milk and half coffee. they made him 2AND fucked up on the order. he immediately gets nasty and tells the lady«u need to learn how to listen, u always mess up on my fucking order, jesus!» so… i hope u don’t have a complicated order. cuz the lady will most likely screw up your morning.
