Child Neurology Associates

I have been going here about 6 years. Front office staff great the rest as a whole suck. Amy Grant is the NP here and I loved her over the rest. Dr. Cheng Asst MA is Rude and completely unprofessional Dr Z is insensitive and told me to stop over reacting when my child had a seizure and I tried to reach out to the Office Manager several times concerning several different issues I had questions on… left several voicemails… none responsive… i didn’t want to believe other reviews stating they make you feel that they are after money but after today totally believable… they had me take pictures of my daughter reaction to a medication the night before after calling the after hours line, next day wanted me to come in and claimed pictures werent clear and wanted me to come 30mins to them for them to see or take her to her primary dr. I opted to go to primary dr 10 mins away… they verified it was a rash on the pictures (by now rash was barely there) and instructed me to stop giving seizure meds, reported back the information to the MA via email and asked him to call me or have the dr call…5hours later I call them back asking asking for the office manager who wasnt there and never is so i got the MA and asked could he let me know something or if Dr Cheng was able to review what primary care stated… still this was. Or good enough my child needs to come in to be seen… mind you the rash is 90% gone… so why am I bringing her in when I just took her to her main dr and they could see the rashes clear as day on the pictures when u all couldn’t…made me feel like a genie pig with money growing out my hands… found a new dr office… u all are not the only ones…
Oh I left out my Primary Dr explained my daughter partial seizures 4 years ago way better than u all after asking at every visit and wasnt getting a straight answer… why is that?

The physicians range from very good (in the hospital) to bad. They make NO attempt to inform/​educate parents about serious medical conditions – including what to do in an emergency! They did not prescribe emergency life-​saving medication for my grand child until her mother did her own research and asked for it. They NEVER return phone calls and the staff takes «rude» to an all new level.

WORST neurology doctor’s office. I waited over 4 hours for my appointment with my three children. The staff was extremely rude and rolled their eyes when I asked about how much longer I would have to wait and said they would get to me when they could. Other patients told me how they are always running behind and have no respect for their patients time. Another patient finally offered to let me go before her because the staff continued to refuse to honor my appointment. When I finally saw the doctor, my son’s chart had not been updated and she knew nothing of the medications that had been called in over the last year and wanted me to go over with her what their office had called in for him. No documentation whatsoever. Scary thought. I will never go back and will be asking my pediatrician for another referral.
