DONOT order there soup in a bread bowl. They don’t give you nearly enough soup to make it worth the purchase. Order in a cup or bowl and you should be good. Like everything else about this place other than the parking during lunch hours.

I went here to grab a light lunch with my mom. We split the chicken pesto sandwich and we spent extra to get the pasta salad instead of the chips. The tea was good and that’s honestly where the positives end. The sandwich was just ok. And rather small. The pasta salad was the worst I’ve ever had. I hate to be a negative nancy but I had maybe 3 bites and that was it. And I freaking love pasta salad. But this was the most bland pasta salad I’ve ever and had a weird texture. I really hope it was a fluke and that’s not how it usually tastes. Oh, one more positive is that they offer free wifi and I could see this being a decent place to get some work done. I just think I’d stick with a drink and skip the food.

Typical counter deli /bakery with a variety of options for lunch & breakfast. Prices are reasonable, from $ 5 — $ 15. The bakery offers fresh baked cookies, cupcakes, bundt cakes, etc… For lunch, I ordered a cup of broccoli cheddar soup and the hummus plate. The hummus plate was supposed to come with cucumbers & cherry tomatoes but instead came with carrot sticks. I addressed that with the manager & she gladly switched out the products to reflect the menu. I also tried a salted caramel cupcake — it was yummmy!!! Corner Bakery isn’t my top choice for soups, but they do have really awesome salads. And they have a tasty lemonade. Try to avoid high-traffic time(i.e., lunch hour). You get faster service & better parking!

I’ve always been a fan of Corner Bakery. Regarding this particular location, the cashier couldn’t care any less about taking my order or getting my business. I felt more like an inconvenience than a paying customer. My sandwich, however, was delicious.

I came here for lunch for the first time. This is a fast casual type of place where you place your order at the counter, get a number, and have the order brought to you. There were a few things I particularly liked about this place: the order taker was friendly and service fairly quick. There was a good crowd but several open tables. It was comfortable to sit there and I did not feel in a rush. I had a little bit of privacy in the corner where I sat. The food was pretty good. I had the uptown turkey sandwich, which seemed a little small when it came out, but it was thick with ample turkey slices. The turkey tasted fresh. It came on toasted bread and I think it had lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise, and bacon. The sandwich came with a bag of chips. I was in the mood for a cup of hot tea, and they had a real nice selection. The green tea was really good, with a tropical fruit flavor. They have free wifi, but I don’t think the signal was good because I kept on losing the signal and reverting to cellular. They are a little like Panera with a selection of baked items in addition to their regular menu items. The menu is larger, though, with breakfast items and so on. I thought the prices were fairly resonate, about $ 10.80 for my sandwich and tea. I would definitely try them again.

Too pricey for a simple sandwich with 3 pieces of deli meat and a couple slices of bacon. I have been to Corner Bakery a few times and always regret it. I would get more for my money if I went to Subway. $ 10.58 for a flimsy sandwich and tea.

This is my first visit to corner bakery I ordered the Mac and Three Cheese but charged me for the bacon Mac($ 7.00+/-). But I only got to be what looks like half eaten meal. The portion was really bad and the taste was more like a one– cheese Mac with a few bits of bacon bits. Definitely not coming back here.

I work within walking distance from CB and have been there a few times. CB is clean with good service. I receive my order pretty quickly and it’s been fresh each time. The quality of food is pretty good for the price. I always get the currant oatmeal cookies for dessert. They taste like homemade cookies. I’ll continue to frequent for lunch and even dinner.

I never gave this place much thought except to notice it on my way to Chipotle every so often(it’s right next door). But, when the line at Chipotle was wayyyy too long one day(I know, when is it NOT right?) we decided to check it out. It seemed like fate because it was a rainy, dreary day outside and we thought a soup and sandwich combo would be the perfect thing. The concept is very similar to Panera and others… order your food, take a number and they bring it to you. Simple. Before ordering, my wife sampled the Siracha black bean soup and nearly choked. Unlike myself, she LOVES siracha and LOVES spicy food but it was even too spicy for her! I don’t know if this is how this soup usually is or if they may have been a bit heavy handed at this particular location. I ordered their spicy Asian pork sandwich: shredded pork, cucumbers, slaw and pickled jalapenos with a spicy Asian barbecue sauce on a ciabatta roll. I opted to pass on the jalapenos because I’m not much of a spicy fan and since both the BBQ sauce and the slaw promised to be spicy, I thought jalapenos would be too much. With my sandwich, I ordered a cup of chicken soup. My wife ordered the chicken pomodori on Sourdough: roasted chicken, fresh basil and spinach, oven-roasted tomatoes and provolone cheese with pesto mayo. With her sandwich, she ordered a cup of loaded baked potato soup. Even though the place was empty when we got there, our order still seemed to take a while to get to our table. No worries, we weren’t in a hurry. When the food came, the first thing I did was taste my soup. It wasn’t cold, wasn’t hot, but lukewarm – a cardinal sin when it comes to food, especially soup, in my opinion. My wife tasted her soup and it was also lukewarm. Bummer. The taste of both soups wasn’t bad but the fact that they weren’t hot just killed it for me. However, I LOVED my sandwich. It wasn’t spicy at all so the jalapenos would’ve probably been fine on there, but it was delicious! It was sweet and tangy and flavorful. The pork was very tender and it went perfectly with the crunch of the slaw. They gave me a small cup of extra sauce but I really didn’t need it, the sandwich was plenty saucy enough. I truly enjoyed it. My wife’s sandwich was just okay she said, «nothing to write home about but not bad either». When we were done, we looked around a while for a trash can where we could empty our trays but couldn’t find one. It took us a couple minutes to realize that you leave everything on the table and they’d clear it. That’s nice but I wish there was a sign indicating this so that it’s clear what to do and you don’t have to guess. All in all, it was an okay experience. I’d DEFINITELY return for that pork sandwich. And we didn’t try any desserts but some of them looked really good – especially the giant cinnamon rolls, I think I’ll try one next time.

This place is pretty good! I ordered a American breakfast with scrambled eggs and potatoes work chicken sausage. The other tasty item was the flatbread avocado sandwich with spinach — very good This was a first for me and I was impressed. I have to admit, the breakfast was cold and I was too much in a rush to advise the staff. Hopefully they read this and give me a comment or too. But I definitely recommend this place

I really want to like and support this place. The food is pretty good and there are healthier choices which I appreciate. The customer service, however, is consistently sub par. Several times I have been there and experienced less than positive customer service. Here is my most recent experience from less than 1 hour ago: Today I ordered a southwest salad with added chicken and I clearly stated to «please take off the jalapenos.» The woman who took my order expressed understanding and I paid my bill of approximately $ 10. I took my # and waited off to the side. A few minutes passed, I looked up at the counter and saw 3 employees laughing and joking. I made eye contact with one girl and smiled. I saw a salad sitting on the counter but assumed it wasn’t mine as they did not bring it to me. I went back to my phone, responded to an email and a few more minutes passed. During that time, another employee walked by me with a personal phone conversation on speaker and did not seem to care or notice that their conversation was blasting for all to hear. I looked up again, and the same salad was sitting there on the counter, same 3 employees were laughing and playing around. I walked up to the counter and asked if that was my salad. The guy(Christopher S) said«southwest salad w/chicken? Yes ma’am!» They had been standing around playing while my food was sitting there the whole time. I have low tolerance for laziness and poor customer service. I work in customer service and know it’s my job to ensure all customers are happy and taken good care of in an efficient manner. This place makes me feel like I’m lucky to get an order that was not cheap and that while I’m waiting, I’ll hear an earful of employees inappropriate personal business. Lastly, when I got home, there was jalapenos in the salad…

I don’t think people think about Corner Bakery Café much here in Vinings because it is right next to a Chipotle. We all know that everyone is in love with Chipotle, but if you take the time to walk 10 feet to the attached building with less people, you will be surprised at how much you will love Corner Bakery Café. You can expect the same service and food as you would get from most other Corner Bakery Cafes. Well except for the airport location(which is awful). Their hot panini’s are some of the best you can find from a chain restaurant and their pomegranate salad dressing is to die for.

I went here for lunch the other day with co-workers. It was freezing inside the restaurant so bring a jacket if you plan on going here. I ordered the southwest salad entrée portion. It was just ok, lacked in flavor which really bummed me out bc the description sounded amazing. Boo.

I’ve had Corner Bakery catered a lot at work, and this was my first stop into an actual café. We came early one Sunday morning before I had to get ready for work, and left feeling unimpressed. I ordered a Power Flat with coffee, and my fiancé got the Garden Gate Scrambler with fruit. My flat was fine, although really small. The whole thing fit on a coffee saucer, it seemed like. But, it was filling. My fiancé’s Scrambler looked really good but the eggs weren’t cooked all the way. He mentioned this to the food runner, who insisted they were cooked despite the runny, raw egg flowing across the plate. He then took it up to the manager and got them to remake it, but they brought out his new plate with potatoes instead of fruit(he didn’t save it while they remade the eggs). And, had to twist their arms to give it to him. Outside of that, the Scrambler was good. But the bread wasn’t toasted at all. Guess they forgot to do that. We sat on the enclosed patio with everyone else who was there that early, in large part because the dining room was subarctic. But, that made the patio really loud, especially when kids began screaming and crying. It would have been nice to move away from them and enjoy our breakfast with some peace. Also, they didn’t have their decaf coffee labeled. Probably should do that so people who can’t have caffeine for medical reasons don’t pick the wrong brew. I’d still get catering from here because the food is good, it’s just the atmosphere and employees that left us unimpressed.

This was my first time eating a meal at Corner Bakery. I ordered a half of Uptown Turkey Sandwich & Spinach Sweet Crisp Salad, Four Berry Smoothie and a Maple Pecan Bar for dessert to go. When I was eating my food at home I was like the sandwich taste really good but the salad had a weird taste to eat. The Maple Pecan Bar was yummy reminded me of Pecan Pie. After eating everything my stomach started feeling funny like I’m going to be sick and few minutes later I was on the toilet with major diarrhea. My stomach was cramping so bad and I was nausea for the rest of the night and the next day I couldn’t eat anything else for two days. That night when I got sick I went on to Corner Bakery website and filled out a Contact Us form to let them know what happen so they can tell that restaurant location just in case anyone else get sick but it’s been two weeks now and I never heard anything back from them. I won’t be eating at this Corner Bakery every again or any other Corner Bakery because they have some sanitary issues to address.

I stop at this Corner Bakery sometimes when I’m feeling sandwichy or soupy. This location is quiet and quaint and I have found that I can go and relax and grab a bite after work on occasion. CBCs are very much like Panera Bread stores in that you place your order, are given a number, and then your order is brought to your table. They do a decent job of their soups, sandwiches, and pastries. Every time I’ve come to this location, the employees are nice. One thing I really like about CBC is that if you sign up for their e-café program(they send you news, specials, etc.), they pretty regularly have some freebie or another going on. The last one was a free flat bread, which came with carrots on the side. I really enjoyed it and I’m sure it tasted super good because it was free. Really, though, the bread was good and I loved how the chicken tasted in the chicken Caesar flat bread. When they have one of these free specials going on, you have to pick your store and a window of time(usually an hour) within which you will pick up your goods. Prices are average, not great. In the end, Corner is a decent option to get yourself a quick bite.

One of my «go to» spots for breakfast and lunch. One recurring issue that needs to be addressed: the temperature. Does this café not have a functional thermostat? I’m sitting here sweating right now as I type this. It’s at least 80 – 85 degrees. A few months ago during the warm months, it would be freezing cold. An elderly couple next to me said it felt like a morgue. It was so bad, I’d go outside to the patio to avoid frostbite. As for the food, it is consistently excellent in taste and preparation. The staff here is mostly great, a combination of Southern charm and professionalism. April update: I stopped coming here because of the temperature issues. Decided to try them today. I’m back on the patio. It feels like Alaska inside. Shame it is.

I ordered the steak and cheese toasted sandwich. It was delicious! I had never been here before and had zero expectations. I got the sandwich to-go and after about 10 minutes back to the office it was still warm and toasted, not soggy from the cheese sauce. The relish that comes with it is awesome too! It’s a sweet chili sauce. I will say the parking here is a wreck. I know they are doing construction, but even at 1pm on a weekday this entire area is a zoo. Drive slowly and be patient!

My office often gets corner bakery desserts, but this was the first time I’d ever gone to one of their locations. I ordered one of their pasta dishes(and of course dessert to go!). I was surprised by how good the non-dessert food was. I’m definitely giving this place another visit. Also, I ordered the entrée size, which turned out to be a huge amount of food. Definitely two meals worth, which wasn’t bad for the small price increase. Go, give it a try!

When I worked downtown I ate at the Corner Bakery almost every day. Luckily for me they put one in across the street from where I work in the almost burbs! Food: One star they ruined my favorite sandwich. ½ star I keep getting nasty wilted lettuce. ½ they don’t make my favorite combo where I sub in the Cavatappi pasta for chips and added charge. I have been getting the chicken pesto sandwich for years. It’s been tasty chicken which I think was baked. I think they’re using roasted chicken or something now. It’s little pieces and doesn’t taste right. I won’t be getting this sandwich anymore. The Cavatappi pasta is delicious! Roasted full garlic pieces and chunks of cheese. This is my favorite item on menu. Since they no longer have my two favorite sandwiches the Chix Pesto or the Roast Beef w/Goat Cheese I will get the salad trio if I come here again. Salad trio lets you pick from 3 salad items. I usually get the chicken salad, Cavatappi pasta and a random item. Their potato soup is to die for! Has all the ingredients of a fully loaded baked potato — less the sour cream. It’s a meal in itself. Service: I get take out. The lady who answers the phone and the people at the counter are super nice! Catering: This is our go to place for catering at work now. They’re good with large orders. They will deliver for I think 10% charge. I usually pick up. One time an order was missing an item and they had it to us in 15 minutes. Awesome! So — while I’m super sad that they no longer make the Chicken Pesto correct I will come back now and then for the trio salad.

My job had catered from Corner Bakery before so I wanted to check the place and went with a co-worker since she goes there frequently. It’s located in the same shopping center where Sports Authority/LA Fitness is but more in front of Sports Authority, next to Chipolte. While walking in the restaurant, the setup reminded me so much of Fresh to Order, which I absolutely love! We order our food, get a number, get our drinks, then find a table, place number up and then wait for our food. I ordered the grilled veggie wheat panini with basil tomato soup. It also came with baked chips. My co-worker got salad and corn chowder soup. Her salad was huge! My sandwich was really small, I was a bit disappointed overall with the presentation. However, the taste really makes up for it. I am not happy with paying close to $ 10 for the meal. In honesty, I would’ve paid the same amount and be happier at F2O but I would come back to try another dish. I am still giving it a 4 because of the flavors and service. With the name, «bakery» attached to the restaurant’s name, there are sweets and goodies located in the front next the cashier, looked yummy but I tried to be good and did not order any, maybe next time :)

Oops, let me start again! Apologies for posting my Egg Harbor Review here, it’s been THAT kinda morning! Without further adieu: I discovered this place while on business in Cobb county, and what a little gem! It looks, at first glance, like a Panera or some such, but it’s 10 times better! Great selection of pasteries, hot breakfasts(I had a to-go order of the applewood bacon, roasted tomato, egg and cheddar croissant, and it was AWESOME!), and an array of coffees. Coffee station is self serve, and they offer about 4 varieties on the coffee bar, plain, decaf, and a couple of flavored ones. Staff is friendly and the system by which they operate runs seamlessly. I’m putting this one on my Cobb county«yes» list, and will definitely use it to grab breakfast or lunch in the future when I’m in the area! I look forward to their lunch offerings and will update my review after I check it out again!
