Distinctive Appliances and Vaccums

I referred a good friend, a Latina with good but broken English, there to purchase 2 NEW Miele vacuums. My friend called me after her visit and said she thought the store to be dishonest and that I should not refer anyone else there. She then relayed to me that although she paid for 2 new vacuums but the store employee told her she HAD to take a «floor model». She of course told him she did not and had to insist they provide her with two brand new models, which they ultimately did or lose $ 2200 in one sale. I personally contacted the store owner, it is not this Steven as mentioned in a previous review, he is the employee. It is my belief, because my friend is Latina, he was trying to take advantage of her and I find that reprehensible! I hung up from the owner with the impression that the owner was unconcerned and the attitude had trickled down to the employee.
I cannot recommend this store to anyone again and will certainly not go back myself… internet ordering it is!
