Perfect in the summertime and the staff was supper friendly, I didn’t realize it was black owned, so I’ll be coming back!

There is no such thing as Summer without water ice. This one is Lemon/Pineapple. That’s a perfect combination Found this gem on Instagram @dolphinswaterice_atl I’m craving one right now. #phillystyle #italianice #kirkwood #atl #Atlanta #summer #sweets #gelati #DolphinsWaterIceFactory They sell Sundaes too and Funnel Cake. Grab a water ice and sit outside their shop and enjoy the sights.

This place needs a store front down town, they’d make a killing!!! This location is right across from Anna’s BBQ which makes it perfect! I thoroughly enjoyed my peach(water ice) rum(soft serve) Gelati! Should have gotten the large, it was gone in an instance! I nearly cried! Reg Gelati is 4.25, 5.13 with tax. All treats are under $ 5(before tax), except the sundaes they are between 5.25−6.50. It cost .50¢ to add a flavor to your cone, gone on and chuck it up it’s worth it. They have soft serve, water ice, sundaes with an array of toppings, waffles, funnel cakes, hot dogs and other carnival style treats. Only reason I didn’t give it a five stars is because customer service could have been better, I did come in soon as they opened so not sure if he was trying to get things together in the back, but that’s not an excuse customer comes first! Hopefully I can switch my review to a five star after my next visit. Definitely check them out. They’re on Facebook, Instagram if you need more details. Google and the door said they opened at 12, but Instagram and Unilocal said one. So may be call before to make sure. Enjoy!

This place is so good! It’s nice and they have the best Italian ice! If you have kids they will love it! You can park pretty much anywhere and not worry about boots being put on your cars.

Why does this place only have 3 reviews??? I thought Unilocalers would be curious about this Italian Ice and Gelato place! My friend and I certainly were curious and it brought us to this awesome edition to Kirkwood. We walked in and they were having story time for kids and we were trying to figure out what flavor Italian ice would be in our Unilocal story about this place. They have 24 different flavors. The staff were all awesome and welcoming and answering all of our questions. We finally narrowed down to getting a «Gelati» which is Italian Ice and Gelato. We wanted to try the cheesecake gelato with Strawberry Lemonade italian ice. It was amazing! The cup had a layer of italian ice, a layer of gelato, another layer of italian ice, and a top layer of gelato. When you get to the bottom of the cup, the flavors really mix in to each other and it tastes great. My friend and I shared one and we got a hot dog since they don’t’ allow credit card for purchases under $ 4.

Absolutely loved this local family owned place. Brought some childhood memories when I used to visit my family in New York during vacation or the holidays and my siblings would buy Italian ice at the convenience store, but the huge difference between these two is the fact that the Italian Ice here is made by the own family, not store bought. We decided to share a Gelatti consisting of an ice cream flavor of your choice(24 flavors, cheesecake this time) topped with strawberry lemonade Italian Ice, another scoop of ice cream and Italian ice on top of it, to finish it off with more ice cream; how perfect does it sound already, my mouth is watering just by thinking about it again lol. The family was so welcoming, we also got a hot dog… strange combination but it was good also hahaha. I cannot wait to come back and try all the other flavors. On a sidenote you can get a sample of any flavor you would like if you ask the person at the counter.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while. Forgive me. Dolphin’s is nestled in Kirkwood Station which has plenty of parking and shops. Living up north in my younger years, I haven’t had or been to a place that had authentic water ice in years. I was super excited when I found out about this gem. Upon entering the first thing you’ll notice is the smell of sweet confections. They have over 20 flavors of water ice and ice cream with all the toppings. They also have favorites like waffle sundaes, pretzels, hot dogs, funnel cakes, banana splits, arctic swirls and shakes. You can easily spend under $ 5 and leave very satisfied. I got a chance to meet the owner while I was here. He was very friendly and welcoming. He gave me a little insight about his decision to move the store from Philly/Jersey to Georgia, and his plans for the store. There are also some great specials during the week such as $ 5 waffle sundaes on Wed and $ 2 Tuesdays. Dolphin’s is a great place for kids, families, and the single girl who will eat all she wants today and go to the gym tomorrow.

Dolphins just opened in Kirkwood Station. We had a sweet tooth, and decided to venture outside of Dough & Dulce Vegan, our two typical go-tos. They have soft serve ice cream, and Italian Ice suitable for everyone, including vegans. I chose a watermelon and a grape. My husband got a sour apple and a pineapple. It was a really difficult choice, considering how many flavors they have. I know they advertise 24 flavors of ice cream, but don’t know exactly how many flavors of Italian Ice they showcase. I do remember the following flavors: peach, lemon, mango, blue raspberry, fruit punch, & piña colada. Now tell me that’s not perfect for these nasty hot days! The seating area isn’t set up yet, but remember they just opened. The owner was very patient, as my husband and I talked back-and-forth, reading off the list and trying to decide. Since it’s at Kirkwood Station, there’s plenty of parking. It’s easy to get to and easy to love.
