I can’t say enough about how amazing my experience was with Eyeclectic. Dr. Andrea Knouff and her staff are top notch pros! Ascetically and professionally. The gear is also amazing and highly accurate — felt like I was on the Starship Enterprise! I was horribly miss-treated at America’s Best in the Howell Mill shopping center. The doctor was bumbling fool. I was referred to Dr. Knouff by a specialist who also raved about Eyeclectic. My eyes were diagnosed and treated and I was back in the game within a week. Thank you so much Eyeclectic!

Eyeclectic is a combination of eye and eclectic because they’re eclectic and deal with eyes. Well, their name isn’t as funny as For Eyes. But I give them props for a cute name. Their shop seem smaller than places I’ve been. So they seem to have fewer number of frames to choose from. I don’t know if this is the place to go if you want a lot of choices for frames. The staff here are nice. The patient care coordinator, Lindakay did a great job evaluating me. She was fun and friendly. To look at the back of your eyes, they have a cool, R2-D2 looking machine to take pictures of the back of your eyes. You can pay $ 40 to do this instead of getting your pupil dilated. I think it’s worth it since it gives an photographic record of your eyes. Besides, getting your pupil dilated sucks. Yay for technology. Once the machine takes your picture, it does a neat 3-D tour of the inside of your eyes. It looks like a ride at Epcot. As you’re doing this, Dr. Knouff explains all the details of your eye. Dr. Knouff is very friendly person. She is warm, personable, and knows a lot about eyes. She makes you feel comfortable and answers your questions. I liked my experince at Eyeclectic. They have flexible work hours. They close at at 7PM on most days and open on Saturdays. That is great for people who have day jobs. I liked my experience. I highly recommend it.

Highly recommend! Great team, state of the art technology, couldn’t have asked for a better eye exam. I will definitely return yearly for my annual exam, even if I move a bit out of the way.

The office staff was friendly and the exam was very thorough. They use new technology that I haven’t seen in other offices. For example, she was able to measure my eye pressure WITHOUT puffing air into my eye — which is great, because I’ve always dreaded that part of eye exams.

One of my favorite local businesses to support. Jenny and Dr. Knouff are always so welcoming and knowledgeable. Every single aspect of my interactions with Eyeclectic have been super stellar. Thanks for everything! :)

Dr. Knouff and her staff are so incredible! I was blown away by the technology she used, but also in the way she explained everything. She was able to paint a very clear picture of what was happening with my eyes. Her selection of glasses is wonderful and the staff is so helpful(and thankfully honest) about what does and doesn’t look good on your face. I truly learned so much about my eyes from this visit!

Love Eyeclectic! Dr. Knouff is wonderful and gives a great eye exam. She took the time to explain everything to me and I learned things about my eyes and the procedures that I had never heard in all the years I’ve been getting my eyes checked at other places. The selection of frames is trendy and unique, and the hours are really convenient.

I LOVE Eyeclectic, Dr. Knouff, and the whole staff here. They are super friendly and you can tell that they enjoy working together. Dr. Knouff helped me out with going from being a non-committal glasses wearer to a contacts girl! I was so scared about sticking contact lenses in my eyes but her team was so incredibly helpful. When I got pink eye from one of my students and went to a doc-in-a-box who gave me horrible help, Dr. Knouff saw me without an appointment! She told me to come to her straight away next time because she’s experienced in medical eye care as well as vision. She saw that I have viral conjunctivitis(yay me.) and prescribed me the proper medication and steroid eye drops. Get this. She didn’t even charge me any money for my visit. She is so generous!!! I have referred my husband to this eye doctor and they helped him pick out his new glasses and contacts very quickly and efficiently. It was so convenient when I ran out of contacts and called the office and they had some in stock for me! If I were unemployed, I think it’d be so much fun to work here ;) Great team!

I can’t say enough great things about this optometrist. Everyone working there is very courteous and professional. Dr. Knouff was very thorough in her exam and explained everything she was doing in a way that was easy to understand. I ended up getting an eye infection while testing out a new brand of contact lenses. They were able to see me quickly, on short notice. Since I didn’t have any glasses I had to buy a pair, they were able to have them ready the next day and the cost was very affordable. I have recommended them to many friends and family members. Overall, a fantastic experience.

I visited Eyeclectic for the first time about a week and a half ago. They got me in for an appointment same day(I’ve never had that happen with previous eye doctors, and I’ve been going to eye doctors for at least 20 years). Everything was effortless… by far the best experience I’ve ever had. Dr. Knouff is really nice, and I genuinely felt like her priority was my well-being and my satisfaction with the experience(as compared to previous experiences where I’m penciled in a week out, only to wait 30 minutes in a waiting room past when my appointment was scheduled, then rushed through the process and prescribed whatever drug the doctor is currently receiving the most commission for prescribing). Typically, going to doctors is stressful for me because I feel like I have to ask a lot of questions to avoid getting screwed into unnecessary charges that insurance doesn’t cover, being prescribed brand name drugs when there are generics available, etc. In the end, I’d be lucky to have received anything but vague/confusing answers and bills that leave me wondering if my eyes are more important than my kidney. This visit specifically was due to an irritation under my eyelids caused by my contacts. It happened once before about 2 years ago and the doctor prescribed me a $ 200+ 5ml bottle of brand-name drops. Dr. Knouff at Eyeclectic prescribed essentially the same thing, but the version that cost me less than $ 10, and is apparently more potent as well. Oh, and they’re open for appointments on Saturdays. You can’t beat that.

Like many people, going to get your eyes checked is not at the top of the list of things to do on a weekend. However, I had a really incredible experience at Eyeclectic. The staff is friendly, and the optometrist(I believe her name is Dr. Knouff) was incredibly friendly and professional. She immediately put me at ease. I didn’t think it was possible to make an eye appointment enjoyable, but they seemed to have done it. One other thing I really enjoyed about Eyeclectic is the boutique shopping feel. Most of the selection you find here is brand name, but not the stuff you’ll see 1,000 other people wearing as you walk around Atlanta. There are a lot of really unique pieces, and the prices seemed to be very competitive. Definitely a high recommendation if you are looking for a great optometrist and nice eyewear boutique.
