This is one of my go-to spots around GSU. As a often-times vegetarian, it might seem strange for me to venture to a place that advertises itself as having the best hotdogs in Atlanta, but its their vegetarian bahn mi that draws me in. The pictures you see on other reviews are what you get: The bread is crispy and seems very fresh. It’s stuffed with cilantro, carrots, cumber, sliced jalopeños, and thin tofu in a nice, creamy sauce. Judging by the spice of the peppers, the vegetables are definitely fresh. And it’s less than 5.00, but be warned that it seems that their minimum credit card charge is 5.00, so if you try to use a card, you might be charged 5.00. There have been occasions when I’ve had less vegetables, or maybe once when there were no peppers at all, and that is the only reason I’ve dropped a star. Its disappointing when it happens, but even so the sandwich is still tasty.

I have walked by here dozens of times and finally stopped for a drink. They offer a variety of bubble(boba) tea flavors. But, also have food items on their menu. Unsure of which bubble tea to order, I took the advice of the owner and ordered her favorite, green tea with tapioca balls(blended like a smoothie). It was $ 4.05 total. I must admit that the drink was delicious. It was rainy and chilly but that did not matter, it was good! This is definitely a place to stop between classes to grab a beverage. Note: service may be slow depending on how many people have ordered. I have yet to try the food, but now that I stopped and sampled a beverage, I am sure to do it again and again and again.

Its a delicious restaurant stuffed into an animal cracker box shaped trailer. The service is a bit slow, but to be expected with only a few family members working in the small space. The bubble tea they serve makes up for the wait by packing a flavorful punch and containing real fruit pieces. My personal favorite is the strawberry milkshake boba(not that you asked. but you know). The vegetable banh mi I had here had a good flavor and a nice amount of vegetables, but it was the first banh mi I ever had so I don’t have anything to compare it to other than a salad, I guess.

Bubble Tea Review: This is a small, Mom & Pops stand operating from a tin trailer across from Walter’s. My initial impression was not good because the service was terribly slow. The couple arguing in Vietnamese over ratchet rap music made the wait somewhat entertaining. Once I had my Thai bubble tea, I forgot all about the inconvenience. Also, I think that they put in extra tapioca balls which was a nice bonus. I will come back again to try the food(the smell was very tempting). However, I will not come during my lunch break… unless I am trying to kill time and avoid someone in the office. Fun Fact: On the menu, bubble tea is listed as «boba» tea; «boba» is slang for«large breasts.»

It’s definitely a hole in the wall. They sell cheap hotdogs, bubble tea, Banh mi, fries, Fried rice, etc. It seems to be owned by a Vietnamese family and they are very nice. I stop by here when I’m on my way to class and service is very quick! One time, I had 5 minutes before my class started and they served my order within 3 minutes so I had time to make it in haha! This is my go-to place when I don’t want to spend $ 8 at Saxby’s on a sandwich thats about the same at their Banh mi which is like $ 3

At first glance, it doesn’t look like a Vietnamese shop. But once you step forward or look closer at their ads, you can clearly tell from the menu and subtle ads that they certainly sell Vietnamese products, such as banh mi and boba tea. The banh mi is well made and done on the spot. The staff and service were friendly, too.

Food is alright– mostly sandwiches and hot dogs. Prices are reasonable but I’ve seen some sketchy«add-on» pricing for using a debit card or substitutions on menu items. Meh, fine if you are hungry but there are better places in the area.
