Nachos where great that’s it. Our server services every African American table 3 times more than ours. No refills, 45 min food with no flavor, and shoved against a wall. Used to be a great place. Down hill last few times I’ve been here.

Great atmosphere and very nice waiter. Hated it took me nearly an hour to get the food I ordered and another 30 mins for desert. I never remember waiting this long.

This is a very good restaurant. The food was awesome. The burger BLT& C was awesome. The onion ring were very good. My wife got the homemade chips. They were fantastic. Her club sandwich was very good. These guys even had craft beer and it was not over priced. We will definitely be back here again. I even love the decorations all around the restaurant. But I didn’t see a Tennessee Volunteers flag lol

It’s an unabashed dive with a vibe that I might call«likeably chaotic.» It looks like a couple of decades since last remodel, and the servers all wear hilariously crass, double-entendre-bearing T-shirts. I take no points off for the dankness and squalor – I kinda dig it, usually – but our server seemingly came and went at random for our table of seven-or-so out on the patio, it took us a while to be seated, to order or to cash out. Compared to the Downtown hotels and sports bars, a bucket of PBR here was a welcome relief to the wallet. Good company(with friends on an academic conference) in a fun atmosphere(Joe’s splits the difference between a fraternity sports bar and a campy gay bar) made for an enjoyable evening, but the food(famed wings that were good but not quite famously so) and the service provided definite limitations. And the hated Warriors won while I was watching the TV there, so maybe I’m just blaming the messenger. So, if I lived in Atlanta, I’m sure I’d make it here from time to time, but not sure I’d raise it to «I’m a fan» status.

Food was good and there’s no complain about that… I wish they were better drink specials but it is Midtown … so understandable. I went for trivia night as a recommendation by a friend. Probably one of the worst trivia night experiences and it’s not because the rain made us patio patrons move indoors… It’s mostly the manner of how they conduct the trivia. 1) questions seem to be far too fast, even to the point of ridiculous. I found it shocking that there were teams that knew all the answers. Cheating is definitely a problem there I think. 2) hearing the trivia questions was also an issue. There’s a lot of patrons, so there’s a lot of noise. And then the muffled microphone it just made impossible to hear. 3) The waitstaff always come and ask us if we want something at the most inopportune moments… Like when the trivia question is being initially asked. … I don’t know if I’ll ever venture back for trivia night but probably just to eat with friends

It’s a bit divey inside but the patio is pretty awesome when the weather is right. Food is what you’d expect from a dive bar, full of grease and flavor. I love their lemon pepper wings. They have cheap shots and drinks everyday. Great spot to hang with friends and enjoy the great Atlanta weather.

Ordered the Thai chicken nachos and bbq chicken potato skins. Our server was nice, but kept making excuses about being slammed for why he kept disappearing. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. Though we waited even as the place emptied out for service. Great place for groups, drinks, and just lounging or killing time. Very laid back environment and everyone is here to have fun.

The vibe is cool, chill, fun, busy – outdoor patio is awesome, it feels a lot like a non-corporate Hamburger Mary’s. We were visiting from California and stopped in on a Sunday evening. The sassy hostess in her black leather pants was Fun and seated us pretty quickly, just outside under the covered portion of the patio. Our server was friendly and helpful, love the«cock”-tail shirts! The karaōke is fun, but blasting throughout the whole place is a little rough on the ears when an inexperienced singer is on. Drinks are what you’d expect from this kind of gay-ish establishment and I liked mine. Then things start to go south when we talk about the food. I get that you don’t come here for the fine dining cuisine or amazing presentation, but the wings, something Hotlanta should be famous for, were decent at best. Cobb salad looked good, but wasn’t anything to write home about. The nachos… well, I’m not sure what the white sauce they put on them was, but the chicken was definitely from a can with the consistency of chicken salad. Toss on a handful of black beans a little cheese, and some store brand salsa and there you have it. It was edible, but not something I could really call good or Mexican. I’d come back for the location and patio as a local standby perfect for Sunday Funday, but if you’re looking for tasty dinner, try elsewhere.

I snickered like a kid when I saw the servers T-shirts. I wont say what it said but it was funny. This place was cool, we stopped in here to pregame before hitting the town as I got in town late on a late night flight and was hungry. I scan the menu and I am in the city of wings, so I notice they have lemon pepper and teriyaki mix, in my greedy mind this doesn’t mix. I ask the bartender and he tells me its really good. So I try it. And it was WONDERFUL. I licked my fingers wonderful. They had a full bar, but I didn’t drink here. 4 stars for my service and the wings.

Literally the only reason this place doesn’t get a 2 star rating like I gave its sister restaurant, Einstein, is because of the patio seating, which is some of the best in the area in my opinion. You can tell the Pinnacle martinis are $ 5 everyday because it seemed like 75% of the other patrons were drinking some form of said style of martini. The service here is sssllllloooowwwww, like 6 minute for a draft beer wait. The prices for drinks aren’t bad, nothing is too crazy but the wait is to the point where every time your drink arrives you better just go ahead and order your next one so it gets there when you finish the first one. The food was also just average, we got some nachos and the price wasn’t bad for the portion but if you really want to win get the bigger size that is only like 3 bucks and literally 4 times the size. One off putting thing about the nachos is they use some sort of yellow cheese instead of the more traditional queso cheese. Again by the time they got to our table the nachos were not hot and the chips were soggy from sitting in the melting cheese and what turned out to be pool of grease at the bottom of the plate. Maybe other menu items are better but for us this place is more a sit on the patio and drink on a nice day place and not a place to go and eat lunch or dinner with a few drinks place.

Great staff, cool environment, beautiful neighborhood. I would give 5 stars, but the menu was sticky and gave me the impression they don’t wipe them down regularly. Kind of ruined the appetite. Awesome overall though with a great selection of spirits and beer.

For me… THEBESTWINGSINATLANTA!!! And their house blue cheese cannot be beat. You get amazing tasting bar food here for the best price. When it’s warm out dining on the patio for dinner, lunch or brunch is definitely a good time. They play awesome music as well. This is great for groups so check them out for a birthday or just because.

Atmosphere A Service B Food C The food sounds good and interesting but does not taste fresh. More like frozen. And I ordered off of the«healthy» portion of the menu. Did not feel that I got my money’s worth.

I went their for a team lunch and knew right from the starting that this place would suck. We were a group of 20 people and after initially ordering food the girl who was taking orders asked couple of folks who will pay for the food(it was embarrassing to see her wander & ask such question). The food took forever to come & the one hour lunch was converted into 2 hour event. I had requested for a salmon wrap with chips that came with fries instead of chips and a lot of other people didnt like that taste either, i guess most of us had given up being hungry and sitting there. I dont know about others but I am never going back here again.

Horrible place !! The food is disgusting, the bar/restaurant is filthy. The toilets don’t flush. The bartender was horribly rude and old. Music was a miss. Personally, wouldn’t recommend unless you want a 13itchy bartender, nasty service, over priced food & a nasty drink!

Love Joes! Love that it’s right next door to Einstein’s but gives a totally different vibe and atmosphere. The service is usually on the borderline of being slow here but I’m usually too busy picking a song from the juke box and having a great time to notice by the time the food arrives. The service is friendly and fun here though and everyone who works here, that I’ve came across– has been a riot! My drinks are always strong, food always what I expect-nothing too major BUT love, love, love their wings!(lemon-yaki) I always enjoy myself!

Had a great time here — there are a ton of TV screens for all of the games and service was awesome. The spinach dip was perfect and what made them even better were the chips. It was a pleasant surprise to get the best of both worlds in this dish. We really liked the wings — the Lemon-Aki way. Also, Buffalo wings were good, but I’d recommend it «Hot» which is really«Medium» in my world. Buffalo is pretty much the same no matter where you go so try the Lemon-Aki if you want something new. Onions rings were dipped in a delicious batter, but I want them a little crispier next time. Overall, love this«gay scene» — fabulous drinks(on the cheap) and super wait staff. Smoking is only allowed outside which is nice too.

I’ve been here twice now. Apparently a staple of gay Atlanta, I’d never actually been in the almost six years I’ve lived here. This review will summarize my two experiences in one. My first time was a pretty nondescript Sunday. I was going there with some members of my fraternity, and, since it was kind of windy we’d really wanted a set of tables out of the shade. We’d gotten our wish somewhat, but it ended up being not so unpleasant. We did have to request stabilizing feet for our tables because they’d kept rocking on the uneven brick patio, but the ambience was friendly and mirthful. One could see the semi-salacious, pun-filled banners from our vantage, and the light campiness of the brunch menus was fun to see. I vacillated between some ahi tuna dishes they had and my general off-pescatarian diet, and ended up going with the spinach skillet: an egg and spinach dish they top with Swiss cheese. As a huge fan of carbs, I had to have their potatoes which came out pretty warm. This first experience was nice. My next one was a bit less so. This next one was on Pride Sunday, which might have been a mistake. I’d gone with four friends and, though they’d just opened, they recommended we have a covered patio seat in order to get better service. We’d found a table, dragged another to make a larger one, and sat. During the next half an hour we’d sat initially, three servers passed by asking if someone had helped us, or that they’ll take our order shortly. We ended up with a well-meaning server called Michael. He’d explained the drinks, took our orders, and, 10 minutes later on the busiest-probably day of their season, we got our drinks. After nearly two hours being there, we’d finally gotten to order our food, with just enough time before the parade to wolf it down(I went with my spinach skillet again), requesting the bills at the same time we were eating. Despite our forward-thinking, we’d still gotten our bills after another 10 minutes. Thankfully, we’d made the parade just in time. And that was partly because of the NCR virtual payment option. When it works. I’d recommend giving this place a shot on a not-quite-as-possibly-chaotically-busy day.

I don’t know why I keep coming here, month after month. Year after year. Lol. The service is terrible but your waiter will be «hot n’ fun» and incompetent. The food will be good. The patio will be packed. All jokes aside Joe’s is a pretty decent spot to grab bar food and extremely inexpensive«shorties» or $ 2 shots. The staff is very friendly but they’re all over the place when it’s crowded(it usually is) and it may take a while to get what you ordered. All things considered, I usually end up tipsy and grinning by the end after a few mild temper tantrums are thrown relating to 10+ minute waits on drinks. For inexpensive fun and good people watching head here. Essentially it’s a gay restaurant. I’m sure straight people go here but mostly it’s for«family.» It’s also the go to hang out for the gays during Pride. When in doubt head to Joe’s. Friends in town who want to have a fun queer experience, head to Joe’s. Need cheap drinks at midnight, head to Joe’s. It’s a value. It’s an «experience» for sure.
