I ordered a pizza on a Saturday night at 10:30 pm. An hour later I called to check on the status of my order and they said it was being delivered. At 12:45 still NO pizza. So I called to cancel my order and they put me on hold for many minutes. I hung up the phone because no one ever answered and at 1:10AMMYDOORBELLRINGS and low and behold there is my pizza. I had to tell the driver I canceled the order 30 minutes ago. HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE! I do not suggest this place

Worst service in a 3 block radius. Food isn’t bad but it’s absolute chaos when you order and ticket times are way too long for a lunch /pizza place. This place stays open by location alone.

I’ve been here before and never had a bad experience, until today that is. I found a dead fly in my salad, the breadsticks were dry and stiff, and the fettuccine Alfredo had no taste and no salt. Waste of 8 bucks. My coworker was right when he said he worked for the owner and the guy was downright nasty. Should have listened to him.

Good enough lunch place with cheap prices but quality food and portions! It’s not fine dining but a good neighborhood spot

Super slow service 24 min and counting for a slice of cheese at 2pm in a mostly empty restaurant. If I hadn’t paid already Id be gone. –Slice was on par with elementary school pizza and it was cold. It sucked.

I would say this place is strictly ok. I came after the One Billion Rising event in City Hall when I was starving and just looking for the closest restaurant. They seem to have a good variety in their menu, although the layout is confusing: main prominent menu, combos written on paper on the register, dressing offerings behind the main menu. I decided to go for the 10″ single meat sub combo with turkey. For $ 4.99, you get the sub, a side(fries, onion rings, and something else I forgot), and a drink. I went with the onion rings. The person who served me, Moe, was very nice and even brought the order to the table for me. Luckily, I didn’t have an issue with the long wait times like other reviewers. The turkey sub was not bad. Onion rings, again, were OK. I’ll come back if I am really hungry and looking for something cheap, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.

Don’t even bother with this place, they will charge your card then tell you you have not paid. After calling them out on their antics they will bang on your windows and scream at you. This place is complete and utter trash. If you want to order delivery and be berated this is the place to do it.

Mama Mia’s Pizzeria & Italian Grill is located right next to my college campus so I stopped by here earlier today for a quick lunch. They have Pizzas, Salads, wings and wraps on the menu I believe. I was in the mood for hot wings so I ordered a 10 piece hot wings with fries for 8.95. This is the cheapest combo for wings. They only offer 10 pieces and up. Nothing smaller. Also, 8.95 for 10 wings and fries does not come with a drink. That you can ordered separately. And if the cashier ask you if you want ranch or blue cheese… don’t assume that it comes with it and your wings order comes with celery or carrots. Instead they will charge you an extra .35cents for the sauce and no celery or carrots in sight. The wait wasn’t long for lunch time so I guess I got lucky! I ordered hot wings mixed with lemon pepper and it comes out alright. Not as good as other places but wasn’t bad. I liked the fries more… but the fries are those frozen kind. But it was still good. Overall… I will probably stop by and try something else. since they are right next to my class. The wings and fries was aokay. Nothing that blew me away so only three stars.

The pizza isn’t the only good food on their menu. They have a large variety of foods from Greek to American(phillies, chicken wings, chicken strips) to Italian pastas, and all are pretty good. Shwarma or It’s Greek to Us is a better choice, but their Greek is still decent. Otherwise, the place has great food, affordable prices, and plenty indoor and outdoor seating. The fries are to die for! However, the employees and service isn’t what it used to be. Employees look a little sad when they’re working. It’s the only place open into the night in Downtown besides Sidebar and Dunkin Donuts.

I had the pleasure of eating here a few times while I was on jury duty next door. The place is very busy during lunch and table can be hard to come by at times. The serving are large and not that pricey. The personal pizza and subs were great. I wished I lived closer to visit again.

Worst phone order experience I’ve ever had. The girl was singing loudly as I was trying to place my order, and kept saying«huh» «what» «say that again», and then would continue singing Taylor Swift as I’d try to tell her again, it was infuriating. It came to a head when I tried to give her my credit card number and she of course messed it up the first time. The second time I tried she said it wouldn’t take it, and asked if I wanted to pay with something else. I said no, knowing that 1.) my credit card was working just fine 2.) in all likelihood this moron had just misheard me AGAIN. I told her it should work fine. She chuckled and said«umm well it’s not, so…», like a child. I hung up. It’s rare nowadays to encounter what I would consider intentionally negligent service, this is one of those times… avoid at all costs.

Came here with 20 other people. They took our order really quickly and the food was ready pretty quickly as well. I ordered the chicken and cheese calzone and it was TODIEFOR. I also tried my friend’s garlic bread and chicken Alfredo pasta both were cooked to perfection. The guys that work there are so nice. It is open late so after a long night of going out you can stop here. The platters are REALLY big. Definitely big enough to share with another person.

Be shocked & amazed — this little corner pizza place has THEBEST chargrilled chicken salad. Best in the city, I dare say! Now, you may think I’m making this bold claim merely because Mama Mia’s is a short two block walk from my office. I mean, how much easier can it get to walk & grab a meal that pleases me so? BUT, this salad has all the right ingredients to make you walk into a pizza joint, and order a salad! And when asked if you want the bread, YES(nod your head with me please), you most certainly do want the bread that comes with it. To say that I frequent Mama Mia’s often is quite the understatement: in fact, I’ve renamed this salad. On the menu, it is the«Blackened Tasty Chicken Salad.» But to me and my legions of friends with whom I’ve shared this addiction, it is «The Crack Salad.» NO, I have never tried crack, but it’s addicting right? Just like this salad. Other items on the menu you ask? Well I’ve had the pizza, both by the slice and the personal size, and calzone, which were both very good. The pizzas are very basic, which many pizza lovers appreciate, so don’t come looking for extraordinary toppings. I’m something of a chicken wings guru, so I would gently suggest that you just don’t order them — I was not impressed at all. My tip for Mama Mia’s is to call your order in before walking or driving over, and they’ll have it ready for you upon arrival. But don’t try calling during the peak lunch hours, cause the line is usually out the door of the restaurant, and it’s very likely you won’t get an answer.

We together had four different meals and none of us were impressed. My fries would have enjoyed a minute longer and the fat-soaked cheesesteak bun wasn’t impressive either. They also charge $ 1 extra for combos during certain periods. Combos don’t include a drink either –which also is(at least for my understanding) a mislead of the whole idea. I would not necessarily need to come back, there are much greater places around for a better value!

I come here once a week for the gyro platter. It’s tasty, fresh and has lots of meat. Please see posted photo. I’ve never had a slice of pizza, but alot of people get it so I’m assuming it’s pretty awesome. If there’s no line, you can be pretty quick and done in 20 min or so. If there’s a long line, just be patient and realize it’ll take alittle longer to order and for your order to be ready. Maybe 35 min in and out. That’s why I hit it at 11:30 before the State lunch crowd.

Some friends and I ended up coming here pretty much randomly when looking for a place to eat quickly. I ordered the chicken parm dinner. The woman gave me two receipts, but I only saw the top one, which said 311. When 311 was called, I went to get it, but it was the wrong order. I checked the receipt I had been given and found that neither of them were for my order. I indicated that I had been given the wrong ticket but no one seemed to know what my actual ticket number was. I guessed it was 314 because my friend who ordered after me was 315. When 314 was called, that wasn’t my order either, nor 312 or 313. None of the people behind the counter seemed to know what was going on. The woman I’d ordered with finally gave me what was supposed to be my dinner. It wasn’t. I took it back and waited another 7 minutes, in addition to the time I’d spent initially waiting for my order. I wish I could say that the food made up for it, but it didn’t. The garlic bread was some of the blandest I’ve ever tasted, the spaghetti noodles were overcooked and mushy, the sauce tasted straight out of a jar and the chicken parm was average at best. I gave most of my food to my friend after eating the chicken. Perhaps my quality standards are high, but this place is a definite must-avoid for me. I’m only giving two stars because they eventually gave me my order.

I really wanted to like to this place, if only for the simple fact that I’d run all over the place looking for a FedEx drop off center(that’s a whole other story in itself) and wanted to reward myself with a great slice of pepperoni and sausage pizza. My mouth was SO ready for this… Like, it wasn’t even funny. But what’s even less funny is how this pizza didn’t taste like anything! I’m so serious! It was so bland and tasteless that I couldn’t even be angry about it lol. The girls at the counter were really sweet though, if that’s any consolation. Unfortunately for me, it isn’t.

I got stuck with jury duty yesterday & came here for lunch with a couple of my fellow potential jurors. We got there right before the rush. I got the lunch special of pasta with marinara, garlic bread, a salad, & a soda. For $ 6.75, it was a good amount of food. The marinara was spicy and I discovered they put red pepper flakes in it. That’s was a little weird. The garlic bread wasn’t very garlic-y, but otherwise solid. The salad was what one would expect. The food did take longer than expected to come out. Overall, it was fine. I’d probably come back if I have jury duty again.
