I have recently moved to Atlanta, and on November 11th I placed an order with Sleep Number for a mattress. During the process, we were assured that our mattress would arrive in about 4 weeks, but there was a possibility it would arrive within 2 – 3. After 3 weeks me and my girlfriend reached out to the company to check on our order status, and we were told that it hadn’t processed in their system at that point. A few days later we reached out to the store again and we were told that it would be another 8 weeks before our order would arrive. I then asked the associate if he would cancel our order. He said he would and we ended the coversation. Within 30 minutes he called back and tried to salvage his deal, stating that if we payed for home delivery(which was an additional $ 100) then it would arrive sooner. I once again asked him to cancel my order, and he replied that he could not do that and that I would have to contact customer service. I then contacted customer service and was told by the woman I spoke to that she could not cancel my order either, then informed me shipping would be faster if I paid for in home delivery. After I told her I would not she magically had the power to cancel my order. This company and the people they employ are disgraceful. Do NOT give Sleep Number your business.
