The smoothies are practically the same everywhere… So that’s why they got 3 stars. BUT this specific location has a drive thru. I waited 5 – 7 minutes and did not receive any service. I even called the store and no one picked up. I finally Parked, which can be a little difficult in this area, and went in. A worker came from the back room and once i told her what had happened she didn’t even apologize that she was not upfront… I thought it was very rude and I will not be coming back to this location.

Ewww, NASTY. Bad smoothies, Bad service, Dirty. This is the Smoothie King closet to the park– and I would suggest running FAR away. The same owner runs the other one off Piedmont(near Monroe) and the one off Ponce. I would RUN far from these locations as they all have the same unfortunate problems. WHAT –and– WHY? Food poisoning. You may get sick. PLUS management is bad. The owner is rude and treats customers horribly… I’ve seen it time and time again. I had to stop coming here from sickness– both from food and terrible customer service. This location in particular has a consistent problem with cleanliness. Like others have said– running fingers through hair, and having smoothie stained shirts. This place needs a health inspection ASAP. PARKING: Parking here is a tricky. Very small lot, with spaces of the surrounding stores. You may get booted here. someone is in the lot watching so be careful! (There’s lots more locations nearby– Northside &10th for example, and places like Starbucks and Panera Bread(very close by) have delicious smoothies too). There’s an Arden’s Garden up the road, and don’t forget Flying Biscuit next door is a pretty healthy place.

My experiences here have always been normal – nothing out of the ordinary. The employees usually make the drinks fairly consistently and offer efficient service. This store is extremely small on the inside, but it’s location is great if you’re planning on going to Piedmont Park.

Went there at 6 on a Friday and the lazy workers locked the front door and hung out in the back even with the«open» sign still lit. I could see their silhouette through the door in the back! How can you expect customers if you just decide to lock the door and not serve anyone!

Love their healthy snacks and LOVE the smoothies. They’re very friendly and have great recommendations for the drinks on their menu, I’m there a few times a week.

Smoothies are great! The two gentleman making and distributing the smoothies were nice enough, however the guy at the register, constantly running his fingers through his hair seriously needs to adjust his attitude. Why bother coming to work if you’re just going to be a freakin bumber. He was honestly the joke of the store while there waiting for our drinks… He was rude, not engaging in the least … and he’s in the customer service field. I don’t get it, If you don’t want to be there then by all means leave, quit! You are not doing us any favors by being there. That kind of behavior drives me crazy!

Great location and has a private lot in the back. Tried the Peanut Power which was equivalent to the Peanut Butter Moo’d at Jamba Juice. Actually, just about everything here is similar to Jamba Juice. I know this is the Piedmont Park area, but daaaam. $ 8.25 for a large smoothie?

We’ve been to Atlanta 3 times on 3 different tours and every damn time we come here we get smoothies from this specific damn Smoothie King. There’s nothing wrong with it, just that it’s always the same damn thing. It’s like we wish there was something different but we’re so comfortable with THIS one that we’re settling for it but are we really settling? We have this car and all this time and maybe we are comfortable with this particular Smoothie King and so it makes everything totally fine. We just talk about it like it may not be when really if it ever went away we would mourn and pout and groan. I’m sorry Smoothie King.

The smoothie was fine, though I was bit bothered by the number of smoothies containing bananas. I realize I could ask for them to be removed, but then I’m still paying full price while missing half the smoothie. No way. I did find the Strawberry Lemon smoothie to be delicious and one of the cheaper options on the menu($ 3.99 for a small). There’s a reason for three stars, however. It’s spring. It’s hitting 80+ degrees now on a daily basis. Skies are blue. This means Piedmont Park is filled with sweaty people running around and working out to make sure they look hot at the beach this summer. These sweaty folks want a smoothie after going through the park, and that was evident by how packed in people were making their purchases yesterday evening. Yet for some reason, there was only one girl working the counter and making the drinks. By herself. In the heat with a packed shop. The girl did VERY well considering her situation, but come on. I saw a lot of people give up on getting smoothies because it was taking too long to get inside and make an order. Again, no fault of the girl’s, but SK could’ve put another person on the rotation.

I love this Smoothie King. I’m a huge fan of the yummy Slim-N-Trim Vaniila shake and the option to «hold the turbinado sugar and honey» for those of us that need to watch our sugar intake. This shake is such a refreshing, healthy, light meal, and I can conveniently drink and drive without making a mess in my beautimous new car(or, um, getting a DUI). At $ 4.63, it’s less than a small cup of fro yo at Yoforia, and it’s a big shake. The drive-thru/doggie window means I can swing by with my pooch on my way back from a walk at the park too — a big plus. Though this location does have a few Smoothie King-only designated parking spots, the small lot is frighteningly congested and tight. Look every which way when backing out, and keep your fingers crossed…

As my springtime smoothie obsession has progressed, I’ve tried a second Smoothie King location: the one at Piedmont and Monroe. In comparison to the downtown location, I think this Smoothie King’s frozen beverages are less smooth and more… chunky. My Yogurt D-Lite contained chunks of ice, forcing me to eat instead of drink it. Since this is a chain, I expect some consistency, and this Smoothie King location did not deliver.

I believe that their smoothies are delicious, and nutritious. Smoothie King is the most delicious smoothie place in the world… and i have been around the world, in more than 80 days.

Consider yourself lucky if there is a Smoothie King on your way to work, or school, or wherever you are headed that you might need a tiny boost. These nutritious smoothies are great for people suffering from hangovers, colds, exhaustion, or just anyone craving a sweet, healthy beverage. The colorful menu is loaded with options designed boost energy, give you some protein, additional vitamins, etc. Examine the selection and pick what’s right for you. My loyalties are with the Pina Colada Island. This would be paradise If they only had a drive thru…
