My watches work again — YAY. Very convenient. Very affordable. Right downstairs from my office at 500 Northpark. Who would of thought the wine guy would also be a jeweler! Will take all my watches there from now on. Thanks Al.

I work in the 500 NorthPark Bldg and Soirée is an absolute gem. I assumed the small space & office bldg location would mean high prices and generic options. I coudn’t have been more mistaken.
Al, the proprieter, is a true wine expert and takes the time and effort to get to know the tastes of his clientele. His compact space belies the depth and variety of wines offered… and he is always bringing in something new. Al’s friendly style and astute business acumen are a great combination — he is always suggesting new bottles, offering a glass to try, holding tasting events. I often go in and say «find me 6 new things to try». He never disappoints.
Back to the price. Al is always careful to understand the price range of his customers… but offers everything from the affordable ($ 10) to the extravagent. BUT… all are well-​priced for the category. He beats or meets the prices of most big stores (Toco Giant & Total Wine) on the wines he offers. There is a surprising variety in the $ 12 — $ 25 range. And he is generous with the extras — almost every time I buy 2 – 3 bottles, Al throws in «a bottle to try» for free.
He also gifts wraps so it’s a great drive-​by when I need a hostess gift. Gotta love Al!
