This is my post-Church Sunday treat. The line is always long when I get there, but the employees are friendly and work with a lot of hustle, and thus the line moves quickly. It doesn’t have any of the bells and whistles Starbucks is trying these days. No special clover machine, no drive thru and limited seating(it’s attached to the Barnes & Noble) make this more of a three star experience.

If you live near the intersection of Peachtree and West Paces, then this is the closest Starbucks to you. This Starbucks is located within a Barnes and Noble, so be aware that if the B&N is closed then the Starbucks will also be closed(even if other free standing Starbucks are open that day). All of the employees who work here are very nice and they typically have a full selection of food to purchase(I particularly like the sausage and egg breakfast sandwich or the cheese and cracker box). I take my items to go, but from what I have observed the seating fills up quickly in this smaller space. Parking can be tight, so you may have to park in the bigger lot in front of Publix. All in all a nice, clean Starbucks with a good selection and friendly staff!

So, I came in at around noon to get a Vanilla Bean Frappuchino and an Egg & Cheese sandwich with my Starbucks app on the iPhone. Service was very prompt and professional. However, I noticed that this particular Starbucks does not have high speed internet, so I had to settle for the Barnes and Noble Internet connection, which absolutely sucked(getting less than 1MB/second download speeds, if even that). Other than that, space was limited at this particular location. Just about all the chairs were occupied in the 4+ hours I was there. Bathroom was also clean, with no urine or other stuff on the floor. If they ever get their internet back up and running(if that is even the case), I’d give the experience 5 stars…

It really hurts me to give Starbucks a two star rating but I must. I have been going here every Saturday since we moved to Buckhead in March and have enjoyed it. The past few times I have gone have been a horrible experience. They have a new barrister and I’m not happy about it and I’ll tell you why. I’m a creature of habit so I always order my usual, grande soy caramel macchiato extra hot, every Saturday. My drink was made to perfection until the new barrister started working there. I noticed she only fills my cup half way and then the rest of the way with foam!!! WHAT!!! I’m not paying for foam, I’m paying for coffee! The first time this happened I assumed it must have been a mistake but then when it happened again I realized this is no mistake. I wanted to go back and say something the second time but my boyfriend pleaded with me to let it go. Once I got past all the foam I noticed she only filled my cup up half way! What a waste of $ 6. Since this seems to be her way of making drinks I refuse to go back to that location. I’m not going to pay full price for half a cup of coffee.

I am a huge fan of all the Barnes and Nobles since you can go in and get what you eat ore just find a spot and relax. This one is no different. Everyone is friendly and ready to help you find something to distract you from reality if that is what you are looking for. The care is separated so for those of you that like to hang out at a coffee shop then you have that here as well. You have to make your purchases before going into the café. Even if it feels like is part of B&N; it is not. Oh they take the Starbucks cards! Hurray!

I like it. It’s like a box of chocolates lol. Everyday it’s something new. The random big fella who sat next to me and started singing. What was that about. Or the random grandma lady, with the big, spy goggles, who was nice enough to watch my stuff while I went to tinkle. Or, my favorite, the random dorkie dude who sat across from me at the little two seater table, shuffling, walking away leaving his stuff, and then hitting on me as I packed my things… dude…really lol. So, you see, it’s like a box of chocolates, the mixed up, ridiculous kind that leaves you wondering, who the Hell sells this stuff lol… AND it makes for great writing.

This store is busy a good bit, but the baristas here are fast. The service is what really stands out at this Starbucks. They are always very nice and get my order right every time. This Starbucks is also good cause you can go peruse or sit in Barnes and Noble while drinking your coffee, as it’s attached to the Starbucks.

This Starbucks is always busy, but it’s big enough to handle crowds. They have a variety of seating, both inside and outside.

Overall: 3 stars. Friendliness: 3 stars. The staff wasn’t unfriendly, but just cordial; not the happy I’m used to seeing from baristas. Cleanliness: 2 stars. Pet peeve alert for food establishments! Plenty of staff, not especially busy… so why was the bathroom nasty? Why were the tables and chairs not clean? To avoid perception myopia, I stayed here about 2 hours, both outside and inside. No one came outside to clean or check trash levels or ask how the customers were doing. Inside, plenty of conversation was going on, but not much cleaning. Coffee: 3 stars: It was done well, just not served with a smile. In fact, it was placed on the delivery counter without a shout-out that it was ready for pick-up. Thinking about it, I’m removing this location from my favorites and bookmark lists.

Another Starbucks where the staff feels more important than the customers. It’s extremely unpleasant to get a cup of coffee and overhear the staff conversations that take place on a Saturday afternoon. They’re very loud and apparently don’t care that the customers would like to have independent conversations, but cannot because the workers are so loud their conversations overtake all the sound in the place. One of them even remarked that she was having a good day for once, that usually working here is pressure filled and she’s treated poorly. And, she’s the loudest, so it’s easy to hear her talk bout her favorite comedians, astrology, etc… Even the earbuds don’t work here. But, if you like hearing loud people complain about EVERYTHING under the sun, even their employer, then this is the Starbucks for you. It’s NOT the Starbucks for me. There are many other options a short drive away.

I go here to write, do tedious work, and grab my favorite: A White Chocolate Mocha. This may be the most«happening» Starbucks on Peachtree. It’s always crowded, but I love that it’s in walking distance. The Barnes and Noble has some great nooks/crannies when they’re full. I love this location. My drink is always perfect!

I was with my little brother and we were getting hungry, so we crossed the street to try out the Starbucks which was linked to a Barnes and Noble right next to it. The staff were attentive and friendly. There’s this tall, slender lady with cute nerdy glasses that works there and she made my Mocha Cookie Crumble frappé taste amazingly awesome! Kudos for her! This was what I got: **Roasted Tomatoes & Mozzarella Panini($ 5.45) — Inspired by the cuisine of Italy, this delicious sandwich is a burst of classic red, white and green. Sweet Roma tomatoes, creamy mozzarella cheese, spinach and savory basil pesto — staples of a rich culinary tradition embraced by lovers of fine food everywhere. Viva l’Italia!** What I thought of the panini: Oh my goodness! It tasted really good! The very first time I tried it was at the Starbucks inside the Mall of Georgia on my lunch break and it was so delicious! They heat it up for you in their oven and serve it to you on a plate. **Roasted Vegetable Panini($ 5.45) — Roasting veggies enhances their natural flavors to delicious new depths. But this sandwich is so incredibly tasty, even ardent meat lovers gobble it up with gusto. All this to say — if you haven’t tried it, you should.** This was what my little brother had chosen to get with his small cup of ice water. **Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappé(TALL) $ 3.95 — Milk and cookies meets chocolate and coffee for the drink you’re too grown-up to admit that you really want. No need to dunk. We suggest alternating between sweet spoonfuls of crumbly cookie topping over chocolaty whip and smooth slurps of mocha mingled with Frappuccino chips — and maybe an occasional happy dance in between.** This was what I thought of the drink: It wasn’t as sweet which was a very good thing, because I have tried other frappes before and all were a bit too sweet. Surprisingly, this one wasn’t. I was happy with my decision. He he! So very chocolatey and delectable! Loved it!!! **Apple Fritter($ 1.95) — Crunchy-sweet crust, a revelation of moist, fluffy dough cushions your every bite as fresh pockets of delicious apple burst onto your palate.** What I thought of this little pastry: It was sweet but dry. It was probably sitting out there for a while. I enjoyed the little apple pieces inside and outside of it, though. YUM! I wish I could’ve tried it when it was fresh out of the oven. Maybe next time. I’d most definitely come back here!

Ah, I love birthdays. And I know so many cool people(Hi, Lauren S and Bianca W) with August ones! This morning, I’m meeting a favorite friend whose birthday is also in a couple days — we’re finally getting together for coffee and it is important enough to me to be up, showered and ready by 8am! He has a 1yr old and it is tough to get schedules coordinated, but worth it! I love B&N and I like this Starbucks alot. It’s great for a business meeting, or a quick cup if you’re running errands at the Publix, or even for sitting at one of the sidewalk tables on a nice afternoon. NPWH for sure. I’m not a huge coffee drinker — but birthdays and a nice Starbucks + a dear friend = a nice morning outing!

Although I’ve been to the Barnes & Noble right next door on several occasions, I never stopped by the Starbucks here until a recent Thursday afternoon. I had lunch in Buckhead and had a few hours to kill before meeting up with a few friends in the area, so I thought Starbucks would be the perfect place. It’s a pretty small Starbucks with a very limited number of chairs and tables, but they do have a few tables outside as well. After getting my tall Iced Caramel Macchiato, which was prepared very quickly, I was happy to see a vacant comfy chair and sat there immediately. I was also pleased to see electric outlets right by my chair so that I could plug my laptop power cord. As I sat, read, and enjoyed the free Wi-Fi on my laptop for a few hours, I saw many people come and go. However, I felt completely comfortable, and no one bothered me while I was in my own little world in the comfy chair in the corner. Overall, this Starbucks gets 3.5 stars for their quick service and«OK» Iced Caramel Macchiato(it contained a little more milk than I usually like). Parking can be a pain directly in front of the Starbucks, but you could always park in front of the Publix in the same building and walk over from there. I’ll continue to come back to this Starbucks when I’m hanging out in Buckhead. [Review 133 of 366]

I think my palate is improving, after visits to Condesa and San Francisco Roasting Co. I only purchased the grande white mocha because I was in the area and had an appointment. Oddly enough, it wasn’t great, not even good. However the staff was excellent. If I ever return to a Starbucks it will be for the chai latte.

Although this Starbucks is close to the crib, I walk past it on a regular basis for one simple reason: I have to pay for internet here. Why is free internet the easiest thing in the world to get yet Starbucks thinks they are so damn cool that they can charge for it. I go to this place only when I have to. I think the drive thru is cool. But the fact that coffee is so serious that ppl need to pay $ 5 for a cup of joe is just ridiculous to me. I am all about Panera Bread which is conveniently right down the street with free internet(at all locations), good food, and I can get unlimted coffee for $ 2. Sounds good to me.

I go in here on a regular basis to do work and read books. The staff is friendly and there are plenty of tables to relax at. I am a big fan of the hot apple cider and white tea. If you are going to hang out at Starbucks for more then 20 minutes then I recommend you ask for your drink in a «for here» cup. They are warmer, less toxic, and taste better. See ya latte! White Tea vs. Green Tea vs. Black Tea A study at Pace University in 2004 showed white tea had more anti-viral and anti-bacterial qualities than green tea. White tea is made from a younger plant and they are more gentle with its leaves than they are with green tea leaves.
