I visited Atlanta from Washington D.C. this past weekend, and upon entering in the back door for VIP Bottle service(minimum of $ 500(they asked for my credit card, which I was okay with, but after requesting my card back, they said they’ll hold it until the end of the night when I’m done. The very next morning my bank contacted me about a possible fraud, and they were right. There were erroneous charges on my card, which I suspect originated when they held my card for 4 hours. The charges will be disputed, but if you ever plan on doing bottle service, please request to pay by cash, because someone at this establishment is cloning customers cards. Overall, the atmosphere was nice and I’d highly recommend this club, but bring cash only.

Live band and all that jazz… get it? All that jazz? I’m so funny! Or not but seriously the closing of Reign nex t door and the general«I don’t give a f*ck «attitude by some of the staff let’s u know the days here are numbered

Took a weekend trip to Atlanta by myself following a business trip, and decided to check out Atlanta’s nightlife. I’ll admit, I was actually looking to go to Reign Nightclub next door, but it was inexplicably closed(despite the fact that I signed up on their guest list and everything). Because of that, I didn’t sign up for Vanquish’s guest list, and paid full admission($ 20). I believe it’s $ 10/free before a certain time if you sign up, so definitely do that. The bouncers at the door were actually quite friendly, and it was a pretty easy process to get in and out(you can leave and go back whenever, as long as you notify them). I came here at ~11:30ish, and it was pretty slow up until midnight. However, once it was past midnight, Vanquish got poppin’ The service can be a bit slow depending on crowd size, but if you tip well and go back to the same bartender, you should have no problem getting drinks. They also pour pretty heavily, so you are getting your money’s worth. The drinks aren’t the cheapest($ 8/shot or mixed drink), but very reasonable for a downtown club in a major city. Their DJ was also fantastic, with a good mix of old school throwback, hip hop, Top 40 and EDM. The people here are also extremely friendly and approachable(not to mention well dressed and attractive for the most part). It was very easy to join any group and get some conversation in. I had a great time here, and aside from the $ 20 cover, this place is just about perfect(though do make sure you arrive past midnight though).

Eh. I don’t know about paying a $ 20 cover, but this is definitely a nice upscale lounge. There were lots of Asian faces which really surprised me. I guess now I know where all the Asians are at on a Saturday evening. The place was spacious and had plenty of room for dancing and lounging. The DJ that played last Saturday had top hits and lively beats. Although I didn’t explore the place, it looked pretty big. The attire is somewhat nice® as some of the cute Asian guys were in business casual to even suits. :) I didn’t really observe what the girls were wearing but it’s the typical dress or nice jeans & top. Overall, this is a nice place if you want to be in the night scene. Vanquish closes at 3AM so this is definitely a good place to chill, relax, or just dance the night away.

I went to Vanquish last night to celebrate a friend’s birthday. This place is completely overrated. Sure, the inside of the lounge is nice and upscale looking, but that’s about where it ends… What is with the service here? Maybe because I’m getting older, I have less patience for bad service and douchey attitudes. Starting with the purse search… I had a little snap clutch. It was the longest purse search I had ever experienced. Then he pulls out my comb and says I can’t take it in. Really? I’m all for extra safety and all, but this is not TSA, and no need to make me feel like I’m trying to sneak in a weapon. So I go inside and get a drink at the bar. My friend and I are sitting on the bar stools having a drink, when a worker comes up and taps us on the shoulder. He dryly says, «ExcUse me,» and proceeds to pull our chairs out from under us and take off with them. No explanation. Just pulls them away. Wow. The bartenders aren’t any friendlier, and the drinks just weren’t good. I barely drank and had a massive headache after. Thank goodness I didn’t have to pay the $ 40 cover, cause after $ 20 for parking and $ 30 for 3 drinks, I lost $ 50 for an hour of nothing special. I probably won’t be back. I can think of better ways to spend my money at places where you actually feel like your business is appreciated. Side note: This has nothing to do with my experience here, but when I was looking at reserving a table for my birthday a couple of months ago, the reservation website wanted a link to my Facebook page so they could see who I was and view what my «crowd is like». It said it was required by Vanquish. Take it how you want, but I was disgusted. Booked elsewhere instead.

The club atmosphere on Saturday night was great! The crowd was extremely diverse.(I think many of the Asian people knew the DJ.) The music was good. It didn’t take toooooo long to get a drink. I had a really great time dancing! BUT, I was shocked by the $ 40 cover charge EACH for me and my girlfriend. Two(pretty) girls having to pay $ 80 to get in is absurd. And it was strange because it was just after they let in 10 Asian guys. Granted we did not reserve online ahead of time. We didn’t question it because we were there to celebrate another friend’s birthday. By the way, it was the most intense purse search I have ever experienced. He looked inside of everything! He even took my credit cards out and flipped through them. He confiscated my eye drops and my allegra pills. It sort of makes sense, but I was still disappointed to lose them. This was my first visit, and I probably wouldn’t come back again. Only because I could have just as much fun elsewhere without such a hefty cover.

I always have a great time when I go to Vanquish. The drinks are always on point. The crowd is grown and sexy, and the DJ plays a variety of songs. We had a VIP section and the servers took good care of us. The only complaint that I do have is management making people who had sections already reserve waiting out in the cold. We stood outside for 20 minutes before we were allowed to go inside other than that Vanquish will always be one of my favorite spots to go to in Atlanta.

Vanquish is basically done as «the» better venue of Atlanta. I think it is ashame, as I think they have some of the most skilled quick serve bartenders, and the space is still very nice. That said, seems that ever since the Reign Entrance now goes through the club, and more importantly Prive opened, the scene here has been left for dead. Just an update to my prior reviews.

Nas was doing a guest appearance that I found out about the day of. Of course I had to see my boo. I already had tickets prior so I was good to go. Fast forward to us in the club. My friend and I were sitting at the bar drinking our drinks and staff started removing the chairs from the bar! Mofo I purchased my drink so I should be able to sit here. They don’t want you sitting down unless you get a VIP section which is nothing but a couch, nothing to block you from everyone dancing on your table, in your section, in your face. So I didn’t purchase anything else from that bar. The chairs that they kicked people out of were cute though. So anyway I sat on top of the VIP couch. I sure did, and? I wasn’t in the VIP couch area anyway. So I was doing a little drinking before the club and I kept running back and forth to the bathroom. The last time I went some weave wearing floozies tried to attack me over a sink that I was using before they decided to takeover. I guess I couldn’t wash my hands because they are dirty and don’t do the same. Needless to say I finished washing my hands in that same sink I started washing my hands in because it’s the principle. Clientele deducts/adds to a review as well. The type of clientele you attract alters everyone’s experience. Ghetto broads are ghetto because they can’t adapt. They only are able to start stupid situations and act a fool in public. They have no couth and act a donkey every.single.chance.they.get.

Atlanta’s nightclub scene has really gone downhill over the years. Definitely not Miami. I don’t go clubbing anymore but my sister was in town and wanted to experience Atlanta night life. Friends told me this was the place to go. We went on a Saturday night. First off, expect to pay about $ 15 for parking anywhere close by. Second, admission is $ 20. There’s a Guestlist you can sign up for on the website(ladies free before midnight) as long as you get to the cashier before midnight — if you get there before midnight and stand in line for 20 minutes because they keep it moving at a snails pace for appearances — like what happened to us – they will not accept your reservation. In my honest opinion, NO nightclub is worth $ 20 entrance. Then you have to factor in drinks. Enter the tiger room — half naked go-go dancers that are more for show than anything, because their dance moves were minimal, with creepy guys staring them down like meat. Pretentious all around, over-priced tables… you get the idea. The house music was decent but not the best. Walk to the back of the room and up the stairs, and to your left you will overlook Reign. The dance floor here was more crowded, with a mostly hip-hop/R&B mix from the DJ. The only thing I enjoyed were the steam machines. they felt great. I wish they would have used them more often. If you’re in your early-mid 20’s I can see where this might be fun for you. Or, if you’re a pretentious asshole. Personally, I have better ways to spend my time and money.

I came here because my boyfriend’s cousin was throwing a shindig here for one of her friends. Seeing as though I’m too old to be standing up in the club anymore, this was perfect for me because they had a table reservation(score!). Vanquish is nicely appointed. They have live music and Laz Alonzo was in the building(awww HU!). I really like that the VIP areas are kind of set off to the side away from the crowd. The VIP entrance is situated in the back of the building away from the crowds. The DJ was spinning some good hits at first, playing those songs that you love but he kept cutting them off too quickly! At least let the beat drop first smh. All in all I enjoyed myself and hopefully I’ll be back soon. #Yelp100

Lawd have mercy I don’t even know where to start… Well the inside is very big and nice inside. Several bars so it doesn’t feel to cramped in the inside. I do like that there is enough seating there if you need to rest your feet ladies! Oh and can’t forget about the upstairs area too. The music was on point. Now on to the downhill part… I went on a Friday for a friends bday party. When I walked in I felt that I was out of place due to the age range. I saw people that could be my grand mama and grand daddy age. These ppl were too old to be hanging. I saw Walter from Real Housewives of ATL there booed up and no he was not with Keyna(he had a new boo lol). I was told I went on the wrong night so I’m assuming on Friday it’s 40 and up night. My review of this place is … unique. I’d give this place 4 stars based on the night I had, but then 2⁄1 stars based on the problems I’m having with them after the night out, so. 3 to even it out I guess. Came in on a Friday night with a VIP table booked for roughly 25 people. Little did I know that it was«Grown and Sexy» night since practically everyone up in there was close to 30. For the record. it was known that Vanquish on Friday nights were deemed«Asian Night». that is NO longer the case. It’s definitely not Asian Night, since… my group of 25 were the ONLY Asian ones in the club. But you know what… that just means BETTER music to dance to. The music was on point ALL night long. They played various types of music from hip-hop, to reggae, to r&b. I was LOVING it. They do not have a real dance floor, but you have plenty of room to dance. The VIP tables are pretty spacious, too. Now. the point where I’d give them 2 stars.(more so 1 star) My boyfriend and I booked a VIP table for my boyfriend’s brother for his birthday. The table came out to $ 1200, which was including gratuity. We were specially told the entire night would ONLY cost $ 1200. At the end of the night, we signed off on $ 1000, plus $ 200 for tip for our waitress, which totals the amount mentioned. However, looking at our bank statement, we got charged $ 1750. That’s $ 550MORE than what we were suppose to pay. We e-mailed them, called them, left voice-mails, and have not heard a single reply. It’s a really aggravating situation to be in when you’re overcharged by SO much. If it was a couple bucks, yeah, whatever, but $ 500 is a LOT, and to not have single response back from them is even more frustrating. Now, we have to open a dispute with our bank, and hopefully get this situation worked out. Just get a VIP table for less people, less bottles, less money, and just have the males get in free. They don’t enforce VIP, so. band or no band, doesn’t really make a difference. -.-

Been here twice now the last few times I was in Atlanta and both experiences didn’t disappoint. There are a lot of clubs in Atlanta so finding the right one can be a challenge since you can end up in some less than classy spots. This place is def one of top spots in the city. Came here with a group of buddies while visiting ATL and we had a great time at this place. The venue is set up so that the VIP tables are in the middle of the club with some more scattered around the sides. The scene is very trendy and the drinks are pricey. But with the higher price you get an awesome scene, guaranteed good time and a great DJ. Each time I’ve been there, the biggest standout has been the music. Being from New York, your expectations are pretty high for any club and this place holds it down pretty well. The DJ has killed it both times I’ve been here and he’s had the crowd moving all night. As with any club, I highly recommend getting a table if you’re coming with a group of guys. Makes things a lot easier in terms of getting in and not getting lost in the crowd. It’s gets really packed in there. But overall as an out of towner, this is my favorite club in Atlanta until proven otherwise. Awesome spot and highly recommended for those looking for a trendy spot where you’re guaranteed to have an awesome time.

Had a terrible encounter on a recent Saturday night. It was my first time at this venue and I was meeting my girl who was inside alrdy Parking was $ 20.00 in the self park lot directly behind the building I stood in a line around 11:30PM Doorman allowed the non-diversed to enter after flashing ID-No questions asked He carded me and then asked if I had a VIP table, I replied, «no sir» He says, «Then sorry, you may not enter.» He asked no one else this… Now insulted, I called my friend to let her know, they wouldn’t allow me in She quickly came outside, spoke to the doorman, and he showed me in I asked my friend, «What that was about?» She says they only allow a couple of Blacks in on certain nights to keep away what they see as trouble My friend is White and her fam owns a local club, she knows how these circles run, I wish she had informed me sooner… I understand Vanquish has specific«Black nights» hosted thru specific entertainment groups, but I don’t appreciate being discriminated on certain nights Beyond embarrased, I looked around and saw a gorgeous lounge crowded to the max with 3 Black ppl total including myself. It looked very«South Beach» It would be a diservice to myself if I returned knowing they have rules to hault a «certain«type on certain nights… DISGUSTED:(

Vanquish is a lounge that turns into a club. So there is no dance floor. You just kinda dance wherever. Their table service seems to vary depending on their whims. I think it depends on how many tables have been sold. It looks like as more tables get sold, the price goes up to keep up with the demand. The music is your standard top-40 remixes and hip hop that Atlanta loves oh so much. There’s nothing wrong with that. Everyone seems to love it, so they gotta play what people love. The VIP area is the only area with sofas. But you can sit on the edge of those sofas. Well, I saw a bunch of people doing that. I did too when I got tired. And the bouncers didn’t hassle anyone sitting the edge of the sofas. The atmosphere, at least on Friday nights, seem upscale. They seem to adhere to the strict dress code. Friday night is definitely Asian night. But any race, culture, or color should feel comfortable coming. It’s not an Asian club so they won’t give harsh vibes to non-Asians. The cover was expensive too-$ 20. Try to find a guest list to get in for free instead. I do like it how it’s non smoking. So I don’t smell like cigarettes when I step outside. That is a huge plus. Overall, it looks like another run of the mill, upscale club/lounge to me.

I’m not a fan of clubs and clubbing, but I have to say that Vanquish is probably my favorite in Atlanta. The first thing you’ll notice as soon as you walk in is that there is no real«dance floor.» It’s basically a huge lounge with VIP tables and sofas everywhere, so people tend to dance between or at their tables. This club/lounge is beautiful! There are two bars downstairs, and I really like the fact that there are tables and seats everywhere. Even if my group hasn’t purchased a table, I can usually sit at the edge of a seat if my feet are hurting and no one will say anything. There is a 2nd floor, which I believe has more VIP tables, but I’ve never been up there. If you’re with a large group of 15+ people, the best deal may be for you to buy a VIP table($ 300 for Grey Goose table service). Otherwise, cover is $ 20(always for guys, and after midnight for the ladies). The servers have always been friendly in my experience. For those chilly nights when your group doesn’t have a VIP table, they offer coat check! It’s easy to miss, but it’s in the back left corner(to the right of the 1st bar you see when you walk in). The last time I checked my coat in, it cost $ 4, which isn’t bad considering the fact that you don’t wanna freeze your butt off while waiting in line outside! Overall, I feel that Vanquish deserves about 4.5 stars. I know that Fridays are«Asian Night,» and I haven’t been there on any other night. I’ve always had a great time here. And since it’s currently my friends’ favorite club, I’m sure I’ll be back again sooner than I would like. [Review 018 of 366]

I was here last weekend for a birthday party. I guess because many of the guests flew in from various places(LA, Chicago, DC) as well as a plethora of local friends, it was a really nice mix of the old and the new. With that said, Vanquish was a good venue to make a bicoastal 30th birthday celebration happen. We got a nice table that sat about 15(for various reasons, I never sit down at clubs) and the bouncers and servers seemed genuinely nice. Bottle service was relatively reasonable too — at least compared to LA prices — and they were really good about splitting bills down several credit cards. The venue was small, but that’s as much a positive as a negative depending on how you approach the situation. Maybe it’s because I’m always expecting clubs outside of Miami/Vegas/NYC/LA to be wack, but so far I’ve been consistently impressed by the«water quality» of the women here in ATL. Caucasian, Asian, Black, Latino, Middle Eastern… you name it, and I saw attractive members of all these racial groups representing at Vanquish, even though it was ostensibly«Asian Night». I guess the only thing that I disliked about the whole night was the requisite drunken post-closing sprawl out the back doors of the club. As usual, I was one of the very few in my party that wasn’t inebriated at this point and as a result, was subjected to conversations like this: Friend: *severely intoxicated and slurring words heavily* «Hey, why… why you always sober man?» Me: «I don’t know, I guess I can handle my liquor.» Friend: «Mannnnn… why you always the voice of reason… you’re seriously like an owl, mannnn… all wise and shit…» Me: *sigh*
