This is my new favorite coffee shop! It’s everything a coffee shop should be. The atmosphere is perfect and the music is soft. I got the local honey latte, and it is the best latte I’ve ever had! Absolutely perfect. Staff is friendly and know how to coffee.

No, it’s not Copy Cat, it’s Coffee Cat! Coming back to Auburn after a few years, I am shocked at all the amazing new spots that opened up.
Love the cat theme theme here, even some of the artwork in the restaurant has a giant cat face stamped on it. It’s cozy and unpretentious. It has variety and quality. It’s clean and relaxing. I had one of their Kenyan coffees and it had to be one of the best brews I’ve had in quite a while, that’s coming from a person that does not even like coffee much.

They always have great specials, and there’s lots of space for studying or meeting up with a friend. My favorite is a honey latte with almond milk. Love that they have a loyalty card, too.

As Unilocal does, it wisely led me to the tucked away Coffee Cat on Tichenor, right behind The Hound. There is street parking and parking in the lot out back.
The vibe is very indie, artsy, warehousy, and just plain welcoming. The employees were cheerful and sling mean iced coffees. I got a small one for $ 2.50. The staff are happy to make drink suggestions (LB got some complicated creamy coffee concoction); there are many java options as well as tea, and some baked treats were also up for grabs. I even saw jewelry, bath goods, and honey for sale too.
Perfect place to just sit, sip, and gab with friends. Or study if that’s your bag. Sadly, there are no actual felines in the Coffee Cat. Maybe someday!

I love love love this place!
The coffee is amazing (roasted by Momma Mochas) and is all made in front of you with the espresso machine or in a French press!
Although the coffee is my favorite in town the people that work here are my favorite part of the place. Everyone that works here are genuinely nice and amazing people! Between suggesting a drink you may like based on preferences or just talking to you about your day they couldn’t be more amazing. (I know they always brighten my day)
This business is also very involved in the community from holding adoption days with the Lee County Humane Society to hosting events for the community and selling local crafts, jewelry, and fun stuff like that!
Oh and you can bring your dogs too! :)

A nice place to get some coffee, catch up with friends, and/​or hit the books. A visiting friend declared this her favorite coffee shop in Auburn after trying almost all the other places.
NOTE: The backdoor connects directly with The Hound. I found this out when I went hunting for the bathroom and suddenly found myself in the middle of The Hound. It caught me off guard and almost made me go to the bathroom early.
