We were frequent visitors to Omango. Healthy, inexpensive, great tasting, unique Indian food at reasonable prices in a comfortable setting! It’s a shame restaurant closed due to the route 59 construction. Any plans to re-open in the Naperville area? With the strong Unilocal abs Google reviews I’m sure you’ll get a loyal customer base back quickly!

Clean, large space and incredible décor… too bad the prolonged Route 59 construction is KILLING this restaurant’s business!!! :-(

I went for the buffet. This place is more american indian food than just indian. Not alot of authentic flavors. Service was good though and they had alot of options in the buffet.

The food here is delicious! Don’t know what to order? Ask for a recommendation! They’ll explain what something is if you’re unsure. They started doing buffets on weekends I believe, great way to try different things.

Basically fast-casual Indian Cuisine. Good food, good atmosphere, good customer service.

This place is a hidden gem! We stopped in here to grab a quick dinner and it turns out they have a very nice buffet on Saturday evening. Food was great and authentically spiced. We had the buffet and it had a good selection of vegetarians and meat entrees, naan, samosas and dessert. Well decorated and casual environment, friendly staff. This is a wonderful little spot to grab a tasty meal.

If you don’t have ready access to Devon avenue, this place will do just fine. The chicken in the spicy bowl was excellent — moist and flavorful. The masala was good but did not have the heat and layers of spice that I like at other curry establishments. Although I did not have it, the lunch buffet on Fridays looked solid. Clean. Quick and friendly. Just what you’d expect in Naperville.

I went for lunch on a Friday and I will surely be going back! My total was $ 10, and that included an unlimited buffet, your choice of regular or garlic paneer, and a chicken side dish. I also bought a drink, or else it is $ 8. I believe that is the Friday lunch special price, so super worth it. All of the food was great! There were about 5 buffet dishes, each with two items inside to choose from. There wasn’t a bad one in the bunch. I didn’t try the dishes with mangoes in them since I’m allergic, but I was told they were good from another diner. Great value and delicious food!

OMango… not sure what to think. The concept is fast casual Indian(like Chipotle) and they have their regular menu plus a Sunday buffet. We opted for the buffet to try a bunch of various items, it was $ 12(comes with tandori chicken skewers). The 12 – 15 buffet items were good, but not as heavy or flavorful as you’d expect from an Indian restaurant. There were some chicken dishes but mainly veggie and carb. There was also some fusion-y items like Indian quesadillas, masala fries, and cumin vinaigrette kale salad, but the execution was not so great on the buffet line. You also get a side of naan, which tasted pretty pre-made and was not light and fluffy. If you’re looking for a quick and convenient Indian meal, I’d say give OMango a try. However, if you’re looking for rich taste of an Indian restaurant, OMango might be a little disappointing.

It is the place must try for good Indian food. Taste of their chicken biryani is uncomparible.

Went for the Sunday buffet, got the $ 15 for $ 10 deal before I went. Even though there weren’t many people early on that day the buffet was fully stocked and attended to. We got to choose garlic or regular naan(we went with garlic), it was delicious. The dishes were flavorful and fresh. We got tandoori chicken with our meal, it was very very good. Endless refills on the pop. They had a bunch of different sauces to dress up the meal. It was a great deal.

Our family loves O’Mango. If you’ve never tried Indian food this a great place to start out. We love the wraps which you can have filled with their delicious Chicken Tikka. Depending on the level of «heat» that you want, you can choose different sauces. The Naan, a freshly made flatbread is awesome. Everything is prepared fresh at O’Mango and the place is very clean. They also have many wheat-free and gluten-free items to choose from.

OMango is a nice option for quick, inexpensive vegetarian(and non-veg, if you’re into that) food in Naperville. It’s AWESOME that they have a buffet at dinnertime. On Sunday nights, the buffet is $ 8 so the total for two people, with drinks, comes to around $ 21. Not bad! The food is generally good– not as delicious as my favorite local Indian place, Masala, but definitely a few steps above Indian Harvest, which I have really come to dislike. The majority of buffet items are vegetarian and a few are vegan, as well! Plus you get your choice of naan(garlic or plain) or roti and they are not stingy with the bread refills. A few months ago they were offering a «Diwali thali» special that was really tasty and awesome, as well. I only wish they would knock a dollar or two off the buffet price for vegetarians, since tandoori chicken is included in the price and they ask you when ordering if you want it or not.

Odear, I think this place deserves a little more love. I went to their lunch buffet today, which was so great. I had so much raita that I feared I put them out of business. So good, and I think it was $ 7.99. Yeah. The selection was great, the staff was so nice, and I got to stuff myself with awesome food that didn’t make me feel terrible afterward. Oyeah I said it!

Ate here recently — had the veggie newbie plate. It was awesome and enough food for two meals! My dining companion had the chicken newbie platter. She too thought it was good, Restaurant is clean, food is fresh and healthy, people are nice. I hope the restaurant survives the rt 59 construction that is causing chaos in getting there because it deserves to stay in business.

The ambiance is nice and clean. They also have space in patio. The host was nice and courteous. First we ordered a tikka role. It was just OK nothing great. Then we ordered a hyderabadi biryani WHICH was NOWAYHYDERABADI biryani. It was not great at all. Though it did not tasted bad. Its a OK indian food place !

After reading all the raving reviews on here I expected to love this place. Unfortunately, I came to the conclusion that I will not be coming back unless I have to. The restaurant itself is clean, cute, and efficient. The staff was helpful and nice. However, I cannot say the same for the food. I’ve had Indian food a few times before and this did not even come close to how it was suppose to taste. I did ask my friend who was more accustomed to Indian cuisine if it was suppose to taste like that and she replied with«Eh, could be better». I agreed. The prices might be decent but I’d rather spend a few more dollars for something tasty, or at least satisfactory.

OMango was pretty good for quick indian food. Today was my first visit and I’ll probably be back once they finish doing construction on 59. Getting into and out of this place was a nightmare. We went around 1PM and luckily for us, they had a lunch buffet going on until 2PM for only $ 8 bucks. My husband and I both opted for that, with two drinks($ 1.99 each) and our total came to $ 21.00. Not bad for umlimited indian food. We tried everything they had out, and it was just ok. The food was barely warm, not hot or fresh and the veggie quesadillas and masala fries were hard. You could tell it had all been sitting out for awhile. They also give you garlic or plain naan and chicken vindaloo at the counter when you order. The chicken vindaloo was good, very spicy, but the naan was hard too. It was more like a cracker and I didn’t like that. Shortly after we finished our first plates, they came out and replaced everything. –___– So I went up again and I was much happier with the quality of the food. It was hot, fresh and probably the most flavorful food I’ve ever tasted. The spices were wonderful. Our favorite was the chicken tikka, chicken vindaloo, and mango chicken curry. The veggie quesadillas and masala fries were sooo much better because they weren’t hard as rocks. The rice was awesome too, although a little crunchy. We finished our plates and snacked on the chocolate date and nut bars they had set out as part of the buffet. They were sweet and delicious. Overall the place had a great atmosphere and was very clean. You could see the kitchen from the counter and it looked neatly organized and sanitary which is definitely a plus. There were plenty of tables and chairs and the booths were big and comfortable. The staff were nice and the drink station area was clean. They had brisk iced green tea with peach and it was sooo good! I’ll probably come back and order from their regular menu next time. The buffet was nice, especially if it’s your first time because you can sample everything but not so nice when it’s been sitting out for too long. Bleh.

I’ve eaten at O’Mango quite a few times and I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed them yet… so hear we go. We LOVE O’Mango. I was referred to O’Mango by a dietician and I’m so happy I tried it. The décor is very modern and colorful, which I love, and there’s plenty of seating. The food is so wonderful and tasty, I don’t know where to start. I usually get Hybardii Baryani with chicken(sorry if it’s misspelled), wraps with mango coconut or hariyali chicken tikka, or the quesadilla with chicken tikka. Everything that I have had is wonderful!!! The wraps are only $ 6.75 and you get 2 huge wraps, which I always save one and essentially make 2 meals for $ 6.75. You also get this really good chutney with them. The Hybardii Baryani is really good, but very spicy. So, I’m just not in the mood for it all the time. If you’ve never tried Indian food before, I would definitely recommend wraps or curry with mango coconut sauce. The mango coconut sauce is very mild and really really good. I thought it would taste too fruity or «coconutty», but it’s neither. It’s just a nice mildly sweet sauce. The ingredients in the wrap include kale and shredded carrots, which makes them really good and fresh tasting. As a matter of fact, all of the ingredients used at O’Mango are always fresh and of high quality. We’ve also tried the samosas and garlic naan. Both are very good, the samosas are a little spicy for my taste, but they are very good. I don’t think anything is fried here, so it’s a pretty healthy alternative to other fast casual restaurant options in the area. Lastly, they offer a lunch special each day where you get a specific entrée, a drink, and a samosa(or something else) for $ 5.95. This deal is awesome. Last I checked, they had hybardii Baryani on Monday, curry on Tuesday, wrap on Wednesday, and quesadillas on Thursday(this is sad that I have retained thus much information about them… I need to be on the payroll!!!) Anyway, if you haven’t tried O’Mango, give them a try… they won’t disappoint.

This is my second time here. I arrived twenty minutes after opening, and it was nice and quiet. Well, except for the other party in here that’s letting their child play the table drums with silverware.(Why me? Everywhere i go!) I opted for the chicken quesadilla with the masala flavoring. I also checked in and received 25% off… nice! The cashier, Yogi, was very nice. I sat down in a booth and waited for my pager to alert me that my order was ready. I only waited about three minutes for my food. I grabbed my order and was shocked by the size of the quesadilla. I wasn’t THAT hungry, I just wanted a little something before grocery shopping(never shop on an empty stomach). I managed to eat 2 ½ slices. The quesadilla itself is very good. The chicken was quite delicious, and they don’t skimp on filling it. It’s a bit tricky to eat as it’s so full, much of the insides spill onto the plate(definitely get a fork). The guacamole served with it is exceptional. The masala sauce has the pefect kick– not too spicy. I’m glad I gave this place a second chance. I’m not very educated on Indian food, but maybe I’ll be a bit more adventurous next time.
