Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits

Today I visited the store located 3122 S. Parker road in aurora Colorado and it was the worst experience I have ever had with Popeyes. The chicken was burnt and tough. I tried calling the number on the receipt only to be routed to a voice mail. Terrible experience. Although I enjoy their food I will not return to this location.

This Popeyes was completely redone and the parking lot was just recently repaved. Looking pretty good. The service is pretty good, but for some reason the drive through is ridiculously long! Tuesday Specials are pretty awesome. Gives me a good reason not to cook dinner!

Worst service of all time. 45 minutes in a drive thru should not happen ever. Let alone every time I come back. But if I do wait 45 minutes I expect my order to be right… Yet it never is.

It’s one of this places where you won’t mind the service as long as there’s fried chicken and Cajun rice. Duh. Don’t expect customer service come here for the food

Chicken and biscuits are good. We love the sides too, but… is it just me, or have the containers gotten smaller? Also, we just paid extra for an additional side, and when I got it home, the container was less than half full. Ummm… when your customers pay extra for a side, fill it up — stop being chintzy with your portions.

I’m can’t lie. I am embarrassed to say that Popeye’s is a guilty, fat kid, pleasure of mine… They’ve got tasty chicken… Unfortunately, everything else is the same in every location I’ve been in…
I’ve never been into a Popeye’s and said to myself «Oh, this Popeye’s has a clean bathroom» or «Oh! this Popeye’s cashier is actually friendly» or «Oh! I don’t feel like I’m not risking my short term, and long health by eating here»
The only reason for me to come to this locations is because I get stuck out in Aurora sometimes… But… Popeye’s chicken… I always know what I’m getting myself into…

This has to be the worst location in franchise history! The service is horrible, the chicken is always under cooked! This place needs to be shut down and turned into something else! Maybe a dang parking lot for all I care! The staff members here are the absolute worst. The parking lot has giant man holes in them and its been this way for years! I highly recommend people to look else where for your chicken needs! This Popeyes is on its last leg possibly being help up with crutches!

i try to stop in on Tuesday’s for the working poor special: a 2pc for $ 1.19 (which continues to increase and isn’t such a deal anymore). Decided to stop at this location instead of my neighborhood’s since i was in the area. First of all the chicken was cold. Also, the thigh was missing it’s skin, and the leg, which came off either a pigeon or a sick chicken, looked as if someone took a bite out of it! In hindsight i should have brought it to their attention, but i was in the area for an appointment and made a game time decision to stop in and get something quick. Looking at the list of poor reviews, i think their corporate office may want to consider sending someone over to get to the root of the problems. Send a wig and fake beard and Undercover Boss the place if they have to. And yes i am aware that this is fast food and «you get what you pay for». Not in this case — they still owe me a hot piece of thigh skin and a bite of leg.

Okay so I’m going to try it again hopefully my food’s not cold and they get my order right today is deal day which I really didn’t think about it when I came but the line is so long and parking lot is ridiculous to get in or out

Always busy for the Tuesday special. Staff isn’t so friendly but not mean either. Food is pretty good.

Highly recommend walking in and ordering your food. Drive Thru takes FOREVER. you will wait on average 10 – 15 minutes in the drive thru just to pay for your food. Then you’ll be waiting longer to get your food. This is not the healthiest meal at all but gotta love some fried chicken! if you know of another friend chicken place, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I could be without this place but their spicy tenders and fried chicken keep pulling me back. Not too great but I have definitely experienced better at other Popeye’s locations.

This place always has amazing chicken, but be willing to wait for it. Speed is not their specialty.

I have not been here in years but I have to say it is a huge, GIGANTIC improvement from what it used to be. Cleaner, remodeled location. The staff was — wait for it — polite, friendly and willing to help. They told me about specials and my order was processed very quickly.
It gets better! I got my good in under 10 minutes. This has never happened at any Popeyes I have been to on a Sunday. Ever! Happy to say I am glad to see the improvements.

We always enjoy the food but I wish their service was quicker. I have yet to visit this location and not spend 5 – 10 minutes sitting in the drive-​thru line which, sometimes, only consists of one car in front of me.

I found this Popeyes great. Hot moist and juicy chicken. Biscuits were flaky and hot. Cajun rice was tasty. Sweet tea was fantastic. Employees were nice, I asked for honey and the cute girl got it for me promptly. What else do u want from fast food?

I’ve never before visited a Popeye’s.
And I will never again.
If you can ignore the terrible service, absurd wait time and confusing menu, you only need to focus on the food, which is nasty. Had I ordered deep fried show with a side of baby vomit, I wouldn’t have been surprised.
No wonder Olive Oil was so skinny.

I’ve never had Popeyes, so this was my first attempt. Reading the previous comments, my experience is not uncommon. Lost my order when I ordered inside, not sure how. The inside is dingy and dated with 3 types of different lightbulbs inside (poor awkward lighting added nothing to my wait).
I got a 2 piece side which was a breast and leg, both crispy and hot, those were solid.
I also got a chicken strip combo with mashed potatoes and a biscuit. Biscuit was solid, mashed potatoes were ok and the strips were long and unusual. Lots of fried outside, underwhelming inside.
All in all it might get one more chance, but this restaurant is a rough one.

I ordered two orders of dippin chicken. Got only one and the other was something completely random. Dippin chicken that I got was not dippin chicken. It was more like thick chunks of breaded brown meat not even done. Don’t go here. This shop gives Popeyes a bad name. Never going there again. Would rather drive 20 min out of the way and get quality… and I will next time. Horrible. Just horrible.

Very angry, very upset. Went there on a Thursday evening, 6:12pm, small wait, not an issue. I was 4^th in line for my order, after 10 min, noticed I did not get a reciept, asked the counter person. He printed a copy, after 22 more min, no order. People coming in after me getting served. After 38 min, I spoke up and asked the status, they said it will be more wait. 7 customers that came in after me picked up what they ordered and left. I became very upset, spoke to the «manager», she stated, wait my turn, I told her I did, she snapped back, You need to wait longer. I only ordered a 5 piece chicken strip, and fish sandwich. No apology for my wait, just a angry little punk manager screaming to me to wait. I will never go again, as they must not care about customers or my money

For a lesson in how NOT to run an eating establishment, visit THIS location by all means.
There were four of us who ordered. EVERY single one of us had something wrong with our orders:
1. NONE of us received biscuits with our combos
2. One person ordered some promotional chicken meal, spicy and only AFTER she had paid and was handed the order, she was told «oh sorry, that only comes in mild»
3. One person got half the portion size on the same chicken combo ordered by another person.
4. One person didn’t get their coleslaw with their combo (or a fork!)
5. I got beans and rice but no flipping fork either! (and no, you can’t get them yourself, you have to ask)
