Dr. Joshi spent the entire visit looking at the computer, never assessed me 75 $, Then ordered 2,500 dollars of labs, many I had already done. Then said if the insurance didn’t cover his expensive patches, he would write me a prescription for pain pills, when I called back 4 hours latter. He refused to write a script for the pills and instead send in a script for 480 $ suboxone pills. The next appointment he only yelled at me for not getting my records to him.(I thought that’s what he was reading on the computer). I went to his partner, who is much better. I suggested some diagnostics like an MRI. I tried to make an appointment to see his partner and he wouldn’t let me. Then when my car caught on fire and I couldn’t afford the 1,000MRI. He said if I didn’t get the test he would not refill my script.(That’s extortion right?). On the way out they did a UA that cost 2,900… Mind you this is with insurance. Oh, we won’t even mention the 45 min waits to be seen, or a 25 $ charge for them to do the paperwork for a prior authorization.(the form the pharmacy sends in for a signature) I thank Dr. Joshi for being so incredibly shitty, that he forced me to find Dr. Marks who is wonderful and diagnosed my bursitis in one visit, and improved my pain in 3 weeks!

Dr. Joshi is the kindest and best pain management physician I have visited. I have a complex illness which not many physicians and therapists will work with. A physical therapist recently told me that I was going to have to live with pain every day for the rest of my life. Dr. Joshi was kind, understanding, took plenty of time to speak with me about my situation, and he took the time to describe possible solutions, and worked with me to develop an a plan of action. I now have confidence that I will not be living in constant pain.
