As a trainer, Anthony is encouraging, thoughtful, patient and motivating. Before I started working out with Anthony we met to discuss my goals and expectations, and when we started working out it was clear that he had prepared a workout tailored specifically to my goals. During the workouts, Anthony was encouraging and motivating, and he pushed me to work harder with each workout, while always staying conscious of my form. He also altered my workout as needed over time, which helped to see faster and lasting results. Overall, Anthony is a great trainer and a great person. Whatever your goals, Anthony will work with you in a positive environment and encourage you to live a healthy lifestyle.

In only two sessions, Anthony Ferraro helped me put together a fitness plan to help me with overall strength training, power-lifting, and interval training to lengthen my running distance. Despite the fact that Anthony specializes in cardiovascular training, he helped me improve my power-lifting form to the degree where I feel safe doing the squat, deadlift, and bench press on my own. Before we started our personal training sessions, Anthony met with me to discuss in detail what I wanted to get out of my workout and he tailored the training sessions based-on the input that I gave him. I would say that Anthony is everything that you are looking for in a personal trainer: he’s courteous, he takes your fitness goals into consideration, he pays a lot of attention to form and safety, and he is patient with you even if you don’t get it right the first time. I would recommend Anthony to anyone who is looking to get in shape regardless of their fitness goals.

I just completed Athletic Blast’s Fitness Camp and have to say it was a great way of getting back into shape. The classes are intense, but my trainer, Anthony, was terrific at making the classes fun. He also modified the exercises to suit my needs(rotator cuff & lower back injuries). He was always attentive to my form, which is rare in these types of classes.

If you want to get in shape, get in the habit of working out, and learn new workout techniques without someone screaming in your face to motivate you, or without running around carrying tires, you’ll enjoy Athletic Blast. This was my first training/camp, and after going for a month, I’m now in the habit of working out regularly. Another plus: my clothes now all fit, which means I have more outfits to choose from without having to purchase new ones. :) Overall: enjoyable, personable trainer, individual attention. Definitely do it for a month at minimum.
