SOGOOD! But where has it gone? Fruit poop– stay with me… is frozen fruit crushed through a soft serve machine to create a completely vegan, ice cream/frozen yogurt textured treat! You can pick as many ingredients as you like, including the fruits, kale, spinach, & toppings like coconut, nuts, & sauces. The perfect dessert or snack for those who crave a creamy frozen treat with the dairy!

I follow a strict Paleo diet, and this place is absolutely perfect. Health Box is a little food stand that sells«Fruit Poop», which is the consistency of a soft serve ice cream but is made entirely from fruits and veggies. It’s super tasty, and the flavor combinations are unique and interesting. They have a little outdoor gym/hang-out spot on their property, which makes their commitment to health even more apparent. But what really blew me away about Health Box is that they are the only place, apart from weekly farmers markets, that sells beef from my favorite local farm — Southern Traditions. They say you can detect how clean an animals diet was by the mildness of it’s liver — and grass-fed liver from Southern Traditions has the mildest and most delicious taste of any liver I’ve ever had. Not only does Health Box sell liver, but they also sell marrow, bone broth, ground beef, sirloin steak, and everything in between. Great resource! If you decide to try the fruit poop, don’t forget to load it up with free toppings like coconut flakes, pistachios, and chocolate fudge from a local company called Lovebean. Lovebean fudge is made from coconut palm sugar, extra virgin coconut oil, coconut milk, and cacao powder. No soy, refined sugar, or dairy — so go for it!

So I’m driving and my wife say’s, «Look hun fruit poop». We were looking for juice bar, so we decided to take a chance stop by and see what the Fruit Poop was all about. Amazingness is what the health box is all about. From the homemade kambucha floats to their self described original fruit poop, this place delivers some great flavors with a great feel with austin soul. Thanks guys.

Super tasty! I had the«refreshing poop» and it was great. My only suggestion would be some type of screen or shade, most of the seating is right in the hot sun. Thank you! I’ll be back. :)

Vegans rejoice! And if you are not vegan that is not a reason to skip this experience. A frozen ice cream and frozen yogurt like treat without dairy or anything added to it. The basic concept is pick your fruits and/or veggies and some toppings and out comes your fresh treat! At first glance the prices may seem a little high but the portions justify the price. Every time I go to Austin I try and make a stop here.

When I die, cryogenically freeze me in a cube of fruit poop. PS There is a «gym» near the picnic tables so you can pathetically attempt to do pull-ups while you wait. PPS Is it inappropriate to say that the guy who makes the fruit poop looks like a vegan underwear model? As in, he is very attractive and probably wears vegan underwear. Make me your Mrs. Fruit Poop.

This place is too cute! A friend and I hunted this place down having heard good things. The guy was soooo nice! He was friendly and helpful and super sweet about explaining what everything was. I got the rainbow poop which was a mix of strawberries, mangoes, and peaches. The actual fruit poop is fruit alone. No added cream or sugar, but it still tastes delicious. I have no idea how they did it. The toppings are all free so pile them on! I actually really liked the chocolate sauce thingy they had. I forgot the name for it, but it’s made of a bean and sweetened with coconut only(going along with the whole health thing). Not only was the fruit poop good, the place was cute. There was the normal benches and tables. But they also had a bunch of exercise stuff you could mess around with: a swing, some weights, bars, and a bunch of other stuff. Cute setting, sweet owner, and a healthy treat that you don’t have to feel guilty about. I would definitely return!

Great service, great product, great location, and they seemed to care about making you feel welcomed. It’s essentially a dessert trailer with Two Paul Walker types working it. I got the mango habanero. Paul Walker#1 made it for me but apologized for extra seeds getting in. It actually came out perfect and I wish I got the larger size it was that good.

Want a healthy, delicious, flavorful, treat/dessert? Perfect, Health Box has it, it’s fruit poop! It’s such a different name but don’t let the name stop you from trying it. You won’t regret it. Fruit poop is nothing but amazing! I don’t ever get addicted to anything, but this could easily become an addiction. Just the other day I realized how much I missed this amazing treat. I became a regular at the Health Box back in July when they opened and I am long over do for this review. So here is why I love this delightful cold treat, that we call«Fruit poop.» First off you are consuming nothing but fruit/vegetables, that’s all. So you are consuming all the nutrients and vitamins that you would normally get from eating those fruits/vegetables. Even better, you get to pick and choose what you want in this frozen treat. Which is great for you picky eaters out there and it’s also vegetarian/vegan, kid, baby, friendly. What you see on the menu is what they have available to choose from. The combinations’ you can put together are endless. They have a variety of fruits and vegetables to choose from, some of the many are; kale, spinach, pineapple, strawberry, cantaloupe, blue berry, and the list goes on. Don’t let the kale or spinach intimate you, you can’t really taste it. And for an additional price they also have toppings available. Like the fruits and vegetables, whatever topping you see on the menu is what they have available. My personal favorite is the red grape and pineapple topped with granola and coconut. If the menu confuses you and you are not sure how it works, the owners of the Health Box will be there to save you. These two gentlemen are awesome and they are one of the reasons why I became a regular customer. Not only do they put together an amazing cup of fruit poop but they have the most amazing hospitality. You arrive at the Health Box and they immediately make you feel like you are family. They are two gracious guys, that are super friendly, humble, great to talk too, that have a passion for there product, there business, and have some of the best customer service in town. If you aren’t very much into talking and just want to enjoy your fruit poop in peace, well they will let you do that too.:) They have an awesome sitting area for you/or your family to enjoy. They have a couple picnic tables, chairs, hammocks, and if you are looking for something fun and different they have a swing! It’s so fun! Oh did I mention they are located right by Zilker park/Town lake? So they are central and on the way to many of Austin’s best attractions. If you are driving down Lamar/Barton Springs and you see a bright green food truck and notice they have fruits and vegetables on there menu(on the front of the truck), it means they are open! If the menu is empty, they are sold out or closed. You can’t miss it, it’s one of a kind. It has a beautiful roof garden filled with beautiful unique plants. Stop by if you are in Austin and check them out.

We went while visiting my sis. Met the two guys who run it and they were very nice and friendly. The food was awesome and no sugary crash like ice cream.

Very delicious! I ordered Fruit Poop, consisting of bananas, strawberries, pineapple, and blueberries. The texture was very similar to ice cream! So sweet and yummy. The guys that were working that night were super friendly! Definitely will become a favor spot of mine!

This place is legit. You can pick as many fruit/veggie options as you want and the finished product is a HUGE mound of delicious frozen goodness, very creamy too. I had a large cup made from peaches, banana, pineapple, and kale with mango topping– DELICIOUS! My boyfriend had a cup made from white grapes, honeydew, and peaches– also delicious. The point is, you really can’t go wrong here, we’ll definitely be back.

I hate to say this because I’m not the *biggest* fan of the name, but I really enjoyed this icy fruit thing. I got a combination of strawberry, mango, banana, pineapple, and kale topped with coconut flakes. It was really refreshing. And it looked gorgeous – like rainbow sherbet. I don’t like typical sno-cone places because they always load them up with syrup and make it gross, so this was a nice alternative.

This place is brand new — only been open for a week — and provides a great take on an ice cream alternative. We got a peach/mango cup and strawberry/pineapple cup each with coconut flakes on top. It was amazing! Both flavors were spot on. The best part? It’s 100% fruit! No added sugar, cream, ice, anything. Think sorbet, but better. I heard they have a habeñero flavor that adds a great kick to your fruit. Definitely need to try that next time. And it sounds like they plan to add other chile options along with some herbs to help you make each cup a unique experience. They have a great deal for the rest of July for buy one get one free. I will definitely be back, and you should too!
