Never heard of Jason’s Deli before last week when I was in VA and the vendor I was visiting ordered lunch from there. Had a great sandwich with a side of fresh fruit so when I got home and realized there was a location close to my place I decided I wanted to stop by. Glad I did! Went in for lunch to go today. Great service! Nice selection of sandwiches, soups, salads, and more. Food was fresh and nicely made. Prices were reasonable for the quality of food. Even thought I was ordering to go, they offered me free ice cream which is included if you dine in. Also offered me something to drink while I waited. Just an overall quality experience. Big plus. they have nutritional information for everything on their menu so you can make smart choices or not depending on what you want. Give them an A+ and will be back!

We ordered lunch from Jason’s Deli for the office. What’s great is that you can send a group order request to a list of email addresses. An email is sent to each person to add an order to a group order and it’s all taken care of. I was impressed with the online ordering system. I ordered the Cuban Press, which was very tasty. It’s pork, ham, swiss cheese, and pickes between a roll with mustard spread. I could taste every single individual ingredient, all of which worked really well together. I really enjoyed the flavor that was added by the mustard. Not only was I impressed with the ordering system, but I was impressed with how the individual orders were labeled for each person. My order came with a slice of pickle, baked potato chips, and a peppermint candy. If I was ordering lunch in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate to order from Jason’s Deli again.

Love the food here. I always get a salad bar. Always fresh ingredients and super friendly staff. The salad bar always has a great selection of veggies and sides. The mini muffins are amazing(especially the spice muffins — gotta dip those in the chocolate mousse). The cornbread muffins are delicious. The soups are also awesome. Recently my soup of choice is their broccoli cheese soup. Rich and creamy. It’s not prevalent on their menu anymore, but I highly suggest the bird to the wise. Onion roll, over a pound of meat(corned beef, Turkey, and pastrami) and cheese.

–Décor: It was pleasant! The tiled walls and floors made me feel like I was in a brick oven meant for pooping. –Ambiance: I could hear the muffled echoes of the lunchtime crowd trying to pierce through the walls. The presence of music in the bathroom helped drown that out a little. Ms. Lauryn Hill’s smash hit«Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You» masked both the sound outside and my gentle drops of joy. –Cons: The one-ply toilet paper left much to be desired. It makes sense for a chain restaurant to have that, but I was hoping for something a little more. I was also disappointed there was no toilet seat paper. I had to place toilet paper on the seat. The gaps underneath the stall and around the bathroom door had me worried about my privacy. Someone might try to sneak a glance given the opportunity. –Overall: The bathrooms at Jason’s Deli(Arboretum) are good, just not great. I’d recommend it to someone in a lax mood. For those in a hurry, you may want to look elsewhere. There’s only one stall available.

I came here time to time to catch up with friends during lunch hour. I like to see how many calories I am eating for lunch, specially in this«holiday eating season». lol Plus, I know how many FREE ice cream I can eat after meal. :)

30 minutes to put soup in a bowl. I just ordered soup. No sandwich, no salad. The prep was just taking some crappy premade soup and putting it in a bowl. 30 minutes.

Beefeater — Original… bread was dry, meat had zero flavor… the Au Ju seriously needs some salt… any amount of salt will do… sweet baby jesus… Broccoli cheese soup was disappointing. My high school café produced a better product, and you should have saw what the nice elderly woman looked like… I am not drinking the Jason’s Deli Kol-Aid apparently.

I would like to point out that I downloaded the Unilocal app just to write about my experience with Dave at Jason’s deli today. He seems like the type of person that actually enjoys his job, and you hardly ever see that in customer service anymore. He greeted my friend and I with a contagious smile, and was helpful right from the beginning. We ordered, and before we sat down he offered water and ice cream… Of course we obliged. At the ice cream station, vanilla was out so Dave came over and added more milk. My friend was having Trouble so I was giving her a hard time and Dave said«coach her up, Stella!» I loved that he remembered my name. It was a great experience and I will definitely go back.

First let me say, Jason’s Deli gets 5 stars immediately for having gingerbread mini muffins on their salad bar. The recipe taste exactly like my grandmothers. So nothing can decrease my rating.(Smile) I got the lobster soup. It was good. Went especially well with the mini cornbread muffins. It was warm. I would have preferred it hot, so I could blow it cool myself. My roast beef sandwich was not prepared to order, but the over abundance of meat made up for that.

This is one of the best salad joints in town. I ate here for 4 months straight because it fit my particular diet to loose fat. It is a really great place to eat your fill of a variety of salads and every once in a while the free ice cream and coffee afterward is a nice touch up on my one fat day a week. I highly recommend going here if you want to get full, loose weight and feel great! I never had a problem with anything here!

Decent place for a quick lunch. Nicely sized salad bar. Fountain drinks. Parking is alright if you time it properly. Dining room tables are tiny and crammed together.

Lots of sandwiches even will take custom orders, if need be. Large salad bar for those adhering to a Veggie diet. Food is good and seems fresh. The day i visited they were offering Free Ice Cream. Although its not real ice cream, its the processed frozen«mystery milk» but was tasty anyway. Definitely add the chocolate syrup. :)

This has always been a family favorite of ours esp their Beefeater! It has gotten smaller but still pretty good. However this time around I had their salad bar so I have to say again how much I love their fresh bar and selections! I ate too many artichokes and gave my stomach an ulcer attack but totally my fault! The fresh eggs, salad variations, dressing, cheeses, breads, etc is all there for you and you can always end w/free ice cream! Love this casual to go place and go for the salad bar next time you are there!

Jason’s Deli is amazing. Love the salad bar and just about everything on the menu! You can’t go wrong. They also have the best broccoli and cheese soup on the planet!

I’m a big fan of Jason’s Deli in general and this location did not disappoint. We had a salad bar and a half sandwich/salad bar combo between us. The salad bar is always great but I have only ordered to go food from this location so today was different in that I actually got to experience their service first hand. I’ll stare my two complaints first but I have mostly praise. They did hand me a hot plate for my side salad while the person with me received a chilled plate for their full salad bar. It doesn’t seem like a big deal but the items on the bottom of my salad were wilted/semi slimy by the time I got to the bottom of my salad. My second complaint was that their restocking of the salad bar was primary to me making my way through the salad bar in that I was cut off and had to wait twice on my only trip. Now let me praise the rest of the crew & my experience. I am giving 4 stars solely on the fact that every Jason’s Deli person that crossed our path went above and beyond making sure we were taken care of. The service is awesome for this type of establishment. Great job Jason’s!

I cater from here frequently. There is a HUGE variety for vegetarians, vegans and gluten-free individuals. I have been a loyal customer for years and dine-in also. I would like to see them improve their basic sandwich bread. This is feedback coming from my office.

1-star improvement because the last two time I have done over the phone or online orders I have not had to wait in line… but, they really need to have just a dedicated cashier or line for to-go orders and one for online pick up. Today I ordered my food over the phone on my way to Jason’s Deli; Courtney, who answered the phone, was very nice, took the order quick and easy, and in the 8mins it took me to drive there, I walked in, paid, and walked out w/my order. That is how it should be done! I would have been annoyed if I had to wait behind someone placing a to-go order(like I did the last time) when my order was already placed and was just waiting to be picked up. I will say, this location is great at getting the additional requests for what not to add and what to add correct, which I can appreciate! BTW, their new gluten-free shrimp and quinoa salad is A-Mazing!

Been a bunch of times to various restaurants and they always produce consistent food. Today pot roast sandwich with a horseradish aioli. Delicious, but not for the faint of heart — it has some kick! Love it. And of course who doesn’t love free ice cream.

I only said three stars because Jason’s deli isn’t my favorite place but just ok. My daughter and I went because we were seeing a moving last night and it was the closest. I had the salad bar and soup(which the chicken tortilla was really good, should of just had that)… The salad bar is your basic salad bar. Now back in the day when I ate cheese and arch then it was good… Now I’m dairy free and used to having my vegan cheese at home when I eat salad. So a salad w only veggies and Italian dressing seems lacking… Not Jason’s deli’s fault that they don’t have vegan cheese and gluten free croutons or crackers. Hint. Hint! My daughter had the grilled cheese sandwich and apples, which was good. She really loved the bread, was wheat with seeds in it. The price for everything was $ 13.07 … Which is quite affordable. The staff was really nice and very helpful… but, the bathroom wasn’t clean. My daughter said there was dried pee on the floor(which I confirmed and waited myself to use the restroom at the theatre). If I was back in the area for a movie I would eat here again… I at least have gf bread to choose from for a sandwich.

I think I have been going to this location about once a month or more for 6 years. It is a great standby. That place where you ask people on the way to lunch, what do you want to eat? When no one has an Idea I always try to suggest Jason’s. There will almost always be something you want here. Its not just sandwiches and a salad bar. There are baked potatoes, pasta, tacos and of course the free soft serve after your meal. My favorites here are 1. Ruben Sandwich. Its one of the best in town since the other deli I liked closed down. 2. Ham and Swiss on Rye, mmmmmm so melty and good. 3. The salad bar is one of the best remaining salad bars in town. You can make a giant plate of salad and surround it with a wall of potato salad and fill that around with a moat of peas if you so wanted.(Not that I ever play with my food like that) The build your own options are good too. Just tell them what you want and they will make it if they can. They have a hot horseradish sauce that is spicy, and I eat strait horse radish, and this is HOT. They used to serve DECAF iced tea, and that was the cherry on top, but they stopped. so I would knock them about 0.1 stars for that. Well tell me what kind of sandwich you would build here?

Got a quick to go order here. Took awhile to be helped as the associate was on the phone taking an order. Got ordered and left 7 minutes later. Good was good and fresh. Nothing too spectacular to talk about.
