Excellent craftsmanship at a great price…
The pearl fell off my wedding ring, and I was skeptical that it could be repaired in a durable, attractive manner. I’m so happy that I took it here! They did a perfect job, adding a nicely designed «clasp» to the pearl so that it will not fall off again, while maintaining the natural look of the asymmetrical pearl. So pleased.

Over the years I have had several repairs from the jeweler of this store. The repairs are of great quality and reasonablely priced. He has replaced stones and custom made pieces for my mother and I. He even took the time to repair my son’s broken chain, it was a low quality piece from a catalog, but he repaired it and didn’t try to sell me on a new one.
Looking around the store is always a treat. There are lots of gift items from artists all over the US. The owner is friendly enough to tell you all about each piece. Much of the jewelry is made in house by him. I especially like that there is something in every price range. Even though there are some expensive things, they are super unique. But there are also $ 15 items that I’ve purchased for gifts. It’s like an art gallery and jewelry shop in one.

Stopped by again to see if anything sparked my interest for Christmas gifts. There were quite a few different items in the shop from my last visit which was nice to see. They have such a unique selection of hand made items at all different prices, so I’m sure anyone could find something they love for the price they want to pay. I love browsing through this store! I ended up making a purchase, just as I thought I would. Staff is very friendly. They let you browse without feeling pressured and will answer any questions you have about the merchandise. Great little shop! Highly recommend it if you want a unique gift for someone special!

Joe is such a professional. We couldn’t find a stone for the life of us anywhere else to create our engagement ring, and he not only found it, but could make it as well! Highly recommended for quality and price!

Originals is the best! I trust all my jewelry design and repair with this business. I just had them redesign a pair of vintage gold/​sapphire/​turquoise earrings. The results are amazing; within ten minutes of leaving the store, I was stopped and asked where I got these earrings! I have also had great success with other earrings, including a pair of large yellow diamond studs that kept coming unclasped. The jeweler offered me a simple solution that cost only $ 20.00; I was willing to pay hundreds. I have been to several jewelry stores (Menagerie, Krugers), but this is the only store where you work directly with the jeweler, not a salesperson who outsources the work to a jeweler. This makes all the difference!
Bottom line, this is more than a store with jewelry — this is a unique jewelry boutique.

I love Originals. Originals has unique jewelry at affordable prices, as well as a variety of fine gift items. I’m lucky enough to live near it and I have been a satisfied customer for several years. I own 6 pairs of earrings, a fused glass cheese plate and matching glass coasters, a pair of custom designed earrings for my wedding, and, as I write this, the owner/​jewelry artist is in the process of making me a custom choker, which I can hardly wait to get! My husband knows that Originals is the go-​to place for gifts for me. Oh, yes, and a friend purchased our wedding gift there. Oh, by the way, I’m not easy to please. ;-)

I was in Austin on a business trip and my stone in my engagement ring fell out. Originals was able to not only repair my ring but tighten all my stones and make it look like new! Great service and a beautiful selection!

This store is a real gem! They have a wonderful selection of unique handcrafted jewelry and glass art. I love stopping in here. They also make custom jewelry. I recently lost one of the earrings of a treasured pair. The owner made a mate and you can’t tell the difference between the original and the replacement. Considering the materials, workmanship and cost of the original set, it was well worth it.

I am so glad I discovered this unique shop today. Something in the window caught my eye so I went in to browse. Such beautiful «original» pieces. Many from local artists. I would call every thing in the shop a work of art. They make a lot of the jewelry themselves. They also had loose stones with unique cuts they would make custom pieces for you. (they also do repair work)
The blown glass I admired in the window was also by a local artist.
The service was GREAT. He knew we were just on our way to dinner next door and only stopped in. He took such time with us. I can’t wait to share this treasure with my clients.

Went yesterday to find a birthday gift for a friend. Looking for a pendant or necklace. Although there was only a few items under $ 50 I was able to find something unique and cool. I fell in love with several more pricey items there and would love to go back if I had more money to spend. Definitely a place to go if you want something upscale and unique. Service was attentive and helpful. They will even start a wish list for you…
