Lone Star Self Storage

Would never again. I rent a small space recently paying for 3 months in advance to receive the discount. My move happen sooner than expected and moved my stuff out of storage only 40 days after renting. When I called to see about a refund, in good humor not ever thinking twice it would be an issue, I was met with a combative and ridiculous manager whose name I forget. Not fighting or arguing I just kept asking rational questions as none of it made sense and again I thought it was a no brainer and never considered there would be an issue. She failed in her argument with rational thought but clearly showed their SHADY perspective. She said she would return $ 65 to my card, which still would have been a win for them. Although, it was said just to get me off the phone because, of course, Ms. Shady never did it.
Storage is usually simple, right? Simply pay for the space for the time you use it, right? Not here. Because they’re not in the storage business but in the milking whoever comes their way business. I would stay on them till I got my refund but I’m pretty sure their shady life at the storage unit is punishment enough for their sad little ways. Sheesh
ALSO, gross and full of rats and rat droppings.
