This is the worst Eggplant Parmesan I have ever tasted! I asked for a very small amount of Pasta and a small dinner salad and an Itemized receipt! I am stuck in a hotel here. The eggplant slices were 1/64″ thin and drenched is grease filled breading and the entire carry out dish was over flowing with pasta!!! The salad is huge and I didn’t get an itemized receipt. Last time I ordered from Niki’s my eggplant was a nice size but it was burnt around the edges. This time is was grease soggy and paper thin, I will never order from here again nor will I recommend this restaurant.

I get Niki’s on the regs. The Margherita and Butcher pizza are my normal takeout order for my family, and both are always delicious. Pizza is a little on the pricey side, but worth it.

My boyfriend is from New Jersey and recently moved in with me, so we’ve low-key been on the hunt for a good pizza place similar to his local pizza joint. He wasn’t wowed by other places like Home Slice(which I can understand; I’ve been to his old pizza shop and it is legitimately the best pizza I’ve ever had), but a coworker of his recommended Niki’s and so we went for lunch. Finally, a place that he’s genuinely happy with! The slices were a good size at a great price, filled us up and taste great. The one thing I will say, and my dude agreed, the crust could have been a little more cooked with a bit more flavoring. However, that’s not going to deter us from coming back again and again. Thank you Niki’s!

No frills about this one — just good NYC Style Pizza. You can buy by the slice or pie. Definately recommend if you are looking for an affordable pizza.

This place has legit New York pizza. Plus, you can walk in and get it by the slice. Way way better than any of the delivery chains.

Bland tasteless pasta sauce with a tiny tasteless piece of chicken atop 2lbs of spaghetti. I never do this but I actually threw it away. The only redeeming quality was that the garlic rolls were not bad. Overall not a satisfying experience. Now I’m still hungry and out almost $ 11. I hope their pizza is better but I honestly don’t think I will return to Nick’s.

Please update your hours if you’re not open until noon on Sundays. Last Sunday I called and before I could even speak my order the guy was like, «We’re not open until noon… but how many pizzas do you want? Oh, just one? Ok, I can do that for you.» Okay??? This Sunday I call and he tells me again they’re not open until noon. I tell him last weekend you made me a pizza before noon, «Oh well, I already have a couple of pizzas in the oven…» So, what? I wonder if ownership knows they guy answering the phone is lazy, rude and turning away business.

This is our go-to pizza joint. If you’re used to ordering crappy chain restaurant pizza with gimmicky menu items(I’m looking at you stuffed crust), then this place might not be for you. But if you’re looking for a simple, yet excellent NY style pizza, then check them out! Bonus: It’s also ridiculously cheap at $ 9.99 for an extra large 3-topping pie, and service has always been great. I can’t say much for any of their pastas or sides, because we usually just stick with pizza, but their marinara is also super yummy and I always order some on the side to dip.

I have found a great pizza and chicken parmesan meal in Austin. After living in NY for 40 years it was difficult to find a good pizza by the slice and sub place in this area of Austin. Niki’s is it!

We eat here a lot. I mean a lot. At least twice a week. 16″ extra large two topping pizza for $ 9.99? Yes please! This is how New York pizza is and how it should be. Proper cheese and just the right amount of delicious grease. I have yet to experience the bad service some reviewers mentioned. Everyone thus far have been friendly and courteous. 5 stars is perfection and it’s hard to achieve that for any place but I would like to give this place at least 4 stars but I had to take out a star due to one reason only– they are open till 10 but there have been numerous times we have called around 9:15 — 9:30pm for pickup and no one picks up the phone. I understand if the kitchen closes earlier but if the hours state open till 10pm, then calling for a pickup 30 – 45 mins prior to closing is still a reasonable request. Now I take this all back if they actually close at 9 but Unilocal and Google put the hours till 10pm and I couldn’t find operating hours on the website so if that’s the case, they need to be updated to reflect the correct hours

I usually don’t take the time to do this, but the reviews were so positive and I was so totally disappointed. Great customer service, but the pizza had zero taste. It was just a lukewarm, oily disappointment.

I’ve been going to Niki’s since 1984. The taste has not changed at all in that time. It is consistently excellent especially when you consider the value. Pretty much the best sausage pizza in the city I think. You might hit them at an off hour and get sub-prime results, but at peak times I’ve never had a bad meal from there.

Niki’s is officially my favorite local pizza place, and are conveniently a 5 minute drive from my house. While their pies are a little under baked than what I prefer, overall the two times I’ve been here so far have been pretty satisfying. This is definitely my new go to for ny style pies. Also, where else can you get a 2 topping 16″ pie for $ 10? Seriously, that’s an awesome deal for when you just gotta satisfy that pizza hankering.(Little Deli and Home Slice are awesome, but more $ and not worth the drive/wait sometimes). Have yet to experience any rudeness from staff like other reviewers have mentioned. The two gentlemen I have spoken with thus far have been nice.

I was craving Eggplant Parmesan and Carinos which is across the street was out, so I tried it at Nikis… the portion is very large and it looked good but the taste flavor at all, the eggplant was slimy and just not good. I do not recommend the eggplant parm from here, I should’ve just tried the pizza instead.

Just go and enjoy! They are amazing, the owner and the core staff are wonderful! Product is amazing and reasonably priced! In fact, I’d suggest they increase their prices on the whole pies — feel like we’re robbing them for an XL3 topping pizza at only $ 10! AND #1 place for pro soccer matches!!!

This is a hidden gem of a lunchtime pizza joint… My office goes here all the time… they have great GIANT slices of NY style pizza, served really quickly. Great for a FAST& Inexpensive lunch… it’s like $ 5 or so for 2 big slices and a drink… great value! Much Yum, so pizza, WOW

This pizza is the best we’ve had in North Austin yet! A thin crust pizza I actually like! Ordered the white wonder pizza and a slice of pepperoni. The white wonder was fantastic!!! The pepperoni was good but very greasy. Will definitely take advantage of the $ 10XL3-topping deal next time though! It’s going to be hard to try the pastas and subs because the pizza is so good!

The customer service was terrible on July 3rd, 2014. The girl working behind the counter was rude and declined our party 2 to-go boxes for 7 slices of pizza being split between 2 families. The carry out special with a box is 9.99 and we stayed in to eat and paid double the price which seems like that would cover the cost for us to take our leftovers home. On a side note, the pizza was great but until the girl behind the counter learns how to treat paying customers we won’t go back to a place we frequent once a week.

This has become THE place for us to order pizza to-go. When we’re lazy and hungry, we usually go here. It’s easy, fast and yummy. Why go to a big chain when you can go to a Austin-based joint? It’s usually cheaper, too!
