Objects Of Confection

Delicious!!! I had objects of confection cake balls as our dessert for our rehearsal luncheon. Literally all of the cake balls were gone within 5 minutes, they were so fresh and tasty. Also, they created a «Longhorn Football stadium» design out of all the cake balls that was SO impressive. The field had the longhorn logo and a «bride and groom» cake ball. The fans in the stands were different flavored cake balls, and the jumbo tron scoreboard was a digital frame that had pictures of me and my fiancé’ that it scrolled through. It was a huge success! Everyone was so impressed by the presentation and especially the flavors!

I am in love, love I tell you with Objects of Confection! I absolutely adore everything mexican chocolate! I just picked up 2 dozen truffles last Saturday and sadly, today finished the last one! I ate 4 today. I ate 10 the first day! I had eaten 4 by the time I got to my car! Oh my God! You’ll understand when you get these. I first had them at a bridal show, Jessica is awesome to work with and you can count on her which is important when you are planning a wedding! I couldn’t wait for the wedding so I had my Matron of Honor get me some for my bridal shower. Then I had them at the wedding of course. They were perfect and really added a nice touch to otherwise pretty usual stuff. Everyone loved them. I don’t know how Jessica is able to get them so perfect, but she does. I prefer them to get hardened in the refrigerator, but they are good soft in the middle too. I just love these little truffles. The cake balls are equally good. I really like them both but the truffles are decadent. I am sure there are other delicious flavors other than mexican chocolate, but once you find your favorite it’s hard to get anything else!

If you take the time to do a cake ball tour of Austin, you will find that most of the cake balls out there are dry and lacking in any real flavor. Just dusty balls of cake. Nothing to get excited about. Objects of Confection cake balls are just the right amount of moist and the flavors are always new and exciting. I’ve tried making them myself and while they were ok, they could never stack up. Strawberry cream and orange dreamsicle are a couple of my favorites but honestly, I’ve never had a cake ball here that I didn’t like.

I special ordered Football shaped cake balls for the Superbowl and they were SUCH a big hit at my party. Objects of Confection gave me a really competitive price and went the extra mile by making little place cards with each of the teams on them. I would definitely recommend and will use them again!
