Was in Youngstown for work. Went through the drive thru 2 times and both times Brandon left some missing. I called back and said I didn’t receive my ranch dressing and he asks «so do you want to come back?“No apology or anything, very dull personality for someone thats handling food. I think it’s in need of a new employee.

Aaron the manager is amazing. Had a couple miner issues, but he was all over it, making sure we had a great experience as always. It’s the caring people like him that make it a pleasure to come back over and again. Great atmosphere and great people. I look forward towards their amazing Sunday brunch every week. Top notch wings and top notch service.

At quaker today with friends. New waiter was very nice and fun had lunch bar which had salad mac an cheese. Berger hot dogs. Veg wings. Not a bad lunch bar. I never like the wings but they have good bergers and diff salads. Always nice to go there

Since we don’t live around here we don’t eat here often but this has been a favorite place to eat for many years and we always eat here when we make the trip «back home.» Maybe this is just an off day today (although I doubt it since the place is uncharacteristicly empty) but we had a surly waitress, cold and flabby wings and water that tasted like cleaning fluid. I imagine we will give the place a second try next time we are in town but if the experience is similar, it’ll likely be our last visit.

Never been here before. Looked kinda cool from the outside. Only draw for us was that it looked like a biker bar. Since we are unicorns we had some concern. We were promptly greeted by someone at the door and seated asap. Our servers name was Jessica and she was extremely nice and took our drink and app order. The vibe inside is more Nascarish or better yet old school race track. There are a bunch of old corvettes as decoration and older car memorabilia around the room. Our apps came very fast. We ordered guac and chips and mozzarella sticks. Both were very good. The guac may have been pre made or bought but it still had good taste. For dinner we ordered the Mac n cheese burger, the lube burger, some wings and the nachos w/beef. Our food arrived fast! Everything looked great, was hit and actually tasted good. I would definitely revisit here if given the chance.

Stopped here on 6÷22÷15 on the way home from the east coast. I was interested because I’ve never visited one before and I’m a car guy. The décor was as expected with car memorabilia and cars everywhere and the menu was encouraging. Despite the décor, I didn’t like the vibe of the place. It just didn’t feel inviting. There was nothing really wrong with the food but the presentation could have been much better. The «T-Bird Steak» was so lonely on its platter with no garnish whatsoever. The bartender didn’t know how to make a good Manhattan and the service was indifferent, at best. The place is probably okay for wings and beer, but don’t get your hopes up for anything better.

I normally don’t review chain restaurants, but I had never eaten at a Quaker Steak & Lube before, and since we did not have a great experience, what the heck.
All three of us ordered the fresh squeezed lemonade. It was essentially water with lemon. Barely sweet, a faint lemon taste. Not worth over $ 2.00.
We decided on the buffet, but it was not spectacular. Wings were ok… no better and no worse than other places. I don’t understand what all the hype is about.
Oh, and our server was less than excited to be there.

Ate here for lunch today, good as usual. I absolutely love the Buck-Eye BBQ sauce. I eat at a few different wing places across the USA, these folks are one of my favorites. Been dining at Quaker Steak in this area for more than 18 years, while on business in the area. Recall going to the Sharon location, when it was the only one.
Recently (last year?) they opened one in Waco, TX. It wasn’t the same … and I have noticed it has closed since.

The bad reviews surprise me. If you set your expectations reasonably, this is a good place. I didn’t go to La Cirque, I went to Quaker Steak & Lube.
Good wings! Standard, boneless breaded and boneless grilled. Huge sauce selection. Good beer specials. Friendly staff (Melissa was great even though it was busy). I got what I expected, with reasonable prices and was very happy about it.
Tip — I’ve been here for lunch and their lunch buffet is good too.

I would consider myself a wing expert. I’ve eaten wings all over the US and know a good wing. The wings here are safe. Nothing incredible, but nothing bad. I ordered the regular hot wings and thought they tasted great. The chicken is above average for taste, but they were delivered really fast and were room temperature. That tells me they cook them in batches and sling them in whatever sauce you want. I recommend trying them. The manager asked me how my food was and the bartender was prompt.

I remembered hearing about this place somehow despite not being from this area. Then I remembered it was on Man vs Food and the atomic wings were the challenge. They’re so serious about them you have to sign a waiver to eat them. I decided to not opt into that and eat some regular old hot wings instead.
The wings themselves are like any other wing you can get at a wing serving establishment. I suppose if I had gone with something different like garlicy or asian-like sauces there’d be something to write home about. I did love that I could get the wings with soft pretzels. What a great food combination!
You can also opt for healthy and get grilled chicken with wing sauce on top of pita bread. But who wants to do that at a place that is notorious for wings?
The décor is very amusing and typical of an American restaurant, nostalgic pictures and crude bathroom humor.
