Bar food & beer. Their wings are great and so is the clam chowder. Yes I said clam chowder just get some. It’s a simple place nothing overly fancy. Good place to sit and relax and not have a bunch of loud drunks. They also have a beach shack and a pool hall in seperate building around back check those out too. Fun to play volleyball in the summer at the shack.

The food here is excellent. Reasonably priced and good portion sizes. I highly recommend the wings and the wedding soup, and the beer battered chicken! However don’t expect too much from the staff. They’re not bad people, not even mean people. The issue is that the servers have to do way too much work for the money they make. As a result of this there is a very high turnover rate, so the waitresses are usually new and very flustered. Maybe just get take out. The food really is great.

I come here on Monday and Wednesday for the wings. Which are great, when you get what you order. The last few times my order has been wrong, I can see it happening once maybe twice but 4 times? I worked in food service I know. Anyway with that being said, I would still come for the wings

Well, if your a beer (IPA) drinker this place is not that good. Most of the meals I’ve tried & my friend have ordered have been just ok. But the burgers & staff bump it up to 4 stars.

WINGS twice a week… how can you go wrong and they are served up right away, fully cooked and HOT!!! Just like they should be. The gals at the bar remember you, ask about you and your well being and are very efficient as well. We go there a lot during the day! Nice to eat right at the bar for sure :)

My family and I had dinner at the Ice House Inn recently after hearing about the restaurant from a friend. To be frank, our experience was not pleasant. The service, food, and atmosphere ended up being very poor.
From the very beginning, our waitress was very inattentive. For the entire two hours that we were there, she only offered to refill our waters once. She kept making excuses for the extremely long wait for food, and wasn’t at all apologetic about the situation. Her lack of knowledge about the menu was also very apparent. I asked her about one of the dipping sauces that came with the hot chips, and she said that she had absolutely no idea what it was. I don’t think that waiters and waitresses need to know every ingredient of every menu item, but to not be able to answer a question about a simple chip dip just seems rather incompetent.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t impress either. The Ice House Inn’s Cubano burger recently won a local award for Most Creative Burger, so I decided to give it a whirl. The Cubano is a burger topped with ham, pepperjack cheese, and roasted red peppers, which sounds like an odd, but possibly enjoyable combination. What I’m trying to figure out, though, is HOW this sandwich won an award, because it certainly didn’t taste like an award-​winning burger. First of all, our waitress (of course) never asked for a temperature on the burger, and it ended up being overcooked. The flavor of the burger and the ham were almost exactly the same, so it ended up tasting like a giant pile of bland-​flavored meat on a bun. The red pepper didn’t even add anything, other than some extra greasiness. The burger really needed a sweet or tangy sauce to draw everything together, but there was nothing there. It wasn’t very good at all.
As for the atmosphere, it honestly reminded me of a restaurant that I would see on Bar Rescue. It was your average, old, run-​down sports bar. The booth we dined in was outdated, and also pretty dirty. The place gave off an overall unclean feeling.
All in all, if you’re looking for a sports bar in Austintown, Ohio with good service, food, and atmosphere, don’t go to the Ice House Inn. This lackluster restaurant was extremely unimpressive, and there are plenty of other sports bars in the area that provide a much better experience.

Really good food and service! I got several bar drinks, wings and a burger and fries to go. Very happy with everything. People very nice and food really good! Recommend Dogfish head IPA on tap and hot wings.

Good food. Bad service. Not very welcoming to people who don’t fit the mold of their typical clientele.

Stayed with my family at a nearby hotel. Ordered 5 hot sandwiches for carry out. All were terrific. This place looks like a biker dive and probably is. The staff were friendly and the food excellent. Don’t let the outside look fool you. It is worth a stop.

Great Sports Bar to watch football, good food n servers r personable! For being in Ohio, we were very grateful that we were able to watch the MN-​GB game n we were able to see GB win!
