Great experience. We sat at the bar and Brandon was one of the best bartenders we’ve had in a while! Remembered our names and ensured we received everything we ordered in a timely manner. If we would have been secret shoppers he would have received a 100%. Brandon even handled a very demanding patron next to us very professionally. We will be back.

VERY disappointed. I frequented here many times as a teenager until I moved to Las Vegas. However, twice a year I visit my mother and I make it a point to come back here, ONLY for the cheese fries. (Vegetarian).
Started out ok. Hostess that sat us was polite. Server brought drinks and asked appetizer order-​cheese fries. Came back to take food order-​2 house salads.
Delivered salads about 10 minutes later. And we waited, and waited, and waited. No cheese fries. Were unable to locate server to ask about them. About 25 minutes later, we ask if they’re coming and she said she thought we already got them. Leaves for about 2 minutes, and comes back with some stale, overcooked, dried out fries. But she literally dropped them and ran. Decided we were going to send them back since we had waited so long but server disappeared for at least 15 minutes. Never came back to check on us. Finally, she comes over and we tell her that they were dry and over cooked, and asked if we could have some extra cheese since we didn’t get bacon and there was very little cheese on the ones we had. 5 minutes later she brings back fries that look a little better, but with less cheese than before and we immediately ask for the check since we had been there forever. She brings the the check, charging for the fries. Again, she disappears, and I ask the hostess to get the manager. Manager was friendly, told her the situation, and she said she’d be back, taking off the fries. Server never came back for payment, nothing was ever bussed, and food was terrible. We paid cash and left. Well over an hour for appetizers and one margarita. Two starts is for the delicious margarita.
I’m very sorry I wasted what little time I had in Indiana on this place again.

I brought my sister and nephew here, as never had never been. We had the greatest steaks, wonderful service, best steaks for the money. She had the cowboy steak (bone in ribeye) I had a 20 ounce ribeye and my nephew had the prime rib. The steaks are always cooked a perfect medium rare…

We dined with a party of 6. Took 45 minutes to get food. Service was okay. Was slow at times when all the wait staff was busy hooting and hollering for the people that were celebrating birthdays. Steak was cooked as requested. We were seated quickly.

Hands down the best steak and atmosphere in Avon! We go here often and really love the 6 oz sirloin and the salads too. Everything tastes so fresh and isn’t as costly as the other steak places. My kids like the chicken critters and it is a fun atmosphere so they can enjoy dinner. MUCH easier to dine out when the restaurant is like Texas Roadhouse

Stopped in for dinner while in town on business. Atmosphere was that of a typical sit down restaurant. Service was good and food was served quickly and to good temp. The only issue was there seemed to be several Bus Boys hovering the restaurant like vultures with the large plastic tubs. Perhaps they were bored but they should have a station to hang out at.

Service was excellent. Steak was done to perfection and was tender for sure. I found the salad to be tasty as usual. Unilocal loves to NOT show all these excellent reviews. We will see if it gets shown or not. Unilocal ‘s system of hiding great reviews– stinks. They are the ones that deserve a 3 star rating or less.

Says they close at 11 but I’m here at 10 and have been trying to call because the doors are locked but no one is answering the phone… Not happy with there services… Will not be coming back here again… Someone should fixed the hrs for what time they close if that’s the case…

Tonight I had TERRIBLE service and food! As soon as you walk in the door there is a crowd of girls and NONE of them say «welcome to texas roadhouse» or even «hi». Pathetic. None of the hostess are friendly whatsoever. To begin dinner our hostess takes us to a table with people already seated and then I had a very dry Caesar salad a fries that weren’t done at all, and to top it all off I had a steak that was way too well done. Not to mention when we got our rolls they didn’t give us any butter. Won’t be coming back for a while.

I’ve been here several times, and every time it’s great. The waitstaff is nice, the seating and food comes quickly, and the food quality has always been great.
One night we ate there and the waiter accidentally dropped a plate of fish and rice in my lap. I was pissed. The manager came out and apologized like crazy, offered me some kind of fried onion thing that would probably kill me for free, and the cook came out and offered to make whatever I wanted right away.
I got my replacement fish and rice within 10 minutes and it was great.
¹⁰⁄₁₀ would wear their food anytime.

My husband and I went on Monday April 6. I ordered beef tips mashed potatoes and green beans. My husband just got wings. Our service was OK she was friendly. The overall dinner was over cooked the tips and the wings and presentation was very sloppy.

Went to dinner with family. Food took 50 minutes to get to us. Once we got our food we all weren’t hungry and it didn’t taste that great.

I went to Texas Roadhouse last night with my fiancé and his mother. We got there about 615 and had to wait for an hour to get a table. I wouldn’t have minded the wait so much if there was just a place to actually be able to sit and wait at. They have 1 bench that can only fit 2 people on it right in front of the door. His mother is on a oxygen tank and cant stand very long so thank goodness the young man who was sitting on the bench got up and let her sit. Everybody was squeezed in one little space while trying to let people check in and leave all in the same little area. So was very unsatisfied with the whole wait process but, once we made it through that part, it was well worth the wait.
When being seated, our waitress was very quick to tend and serve us. Her personality was great and made us feel real welcomed and took care of. The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. After our meal the manager came around and introduced her self and she seemed to really care about how the service and food was.
I had a great experience here and really look forward to going back soon!!!

Texas Roadhouse is our quick go-​to. We go here quite often as it is close to our house, which will probably end after our latest visit unfortunately. The 2-​star rating is for the food, which is always delicious, otherwise I would give it a –5. The servers are also quite nice and efficient. My latest experience, however, was a different story. Please note I was also a server in my teenage/​college years, so I know how «annoying» complaining customers are.
The hostesses are less than friendly, aside from the one who took our name. I don’t even think the girl who seated us smiled once. They seem to want to stand around and converse with their teenage attitudes only directed towards customers. Our server was nice, but disappeared for 15 minute increments at a time. We ended up getting the manager to pay after we had sat for 10 minutes, and didn’t see her again. The BEST part was the teenagers who were standing around talking on the other side of our table (we were seated in the bar area). One of them proceeded to clear his throat repeatedly and literally «hock» 3 feet from my face, clearly not understanding that we were eating on the other side of the partition. They were «working»…although I’m not really sure what they were doing aside from discussing their «weekend plans». I did not mention any of this to the manager, aside from waiting to pay, because quite frankly I am not someone that complains at restaurants… ever. I think he might have apologized for the wait, but by that time, I was so over it that it really didn’t matter.
It’s been real, Texas Roadhouse. Thank goodness we had a gift card!

Went here on a Saturday night and it was crowded as it should be. They told is it would be an hour wait and fortunately for us it seemed to go quilter than that.
Our waiter was nice and friendly and we were able to get our order in pretty quickly even though it was packed. The food was pretty good. I ordered the fried chicken and a few pieces were a little bit soggy but it was mostly good.
I would say this is a good place to go if you want a casual atmosphere where you can get comfort food.

We have a problem every time we go to this location in Avon.
The last time we were here 2 out of the 3 steaks at our table were cooked wrong. One was a 8 oz sirloin that was ordered well down and came out medium rare and the other was a 6 oz sirloin that was ordered medium and came out well done=hockey puck. It took so long for the waitress to come and check back on us I was done with my meal.
I keep telling Kyle that it will be better next time but it isn’t.

Okay, here’s the deal: this used to be an Avon staple (and I’m sure it all is for some), as it was one of the original restaurants along Rockville Road.
This location’s food has always been great. I’ve always stuck with the BBQ grilled chicken, steak fries and salad or the gelled chicken salad. The portion sizes are consistent & I commend them for all of that.
However, the last few times my family and I visited the host staff has been incredibly rude — incredibly. I’m not the guy who often complains about much, but when it comes this, the host staff can really set the tone for a patron’s experience. (Can you tell I was a host trainer in a past life?) The problem is each time we’ve been to this location the head host made it seem like we were bothering her to be seated. Last week (a weekday, around 4:45pm), when I asked for a low both the head host took a deep breath, didn’t say anything and rolled her eyes. This, my friends, is NOT acceptable!
On the other hand, the service is usually pretty great! Of course, once you set a bad tone the moment a patron walks in the door, the less likely they are to remember how great everything else was.

I took my daddy to dinner last time he was in town, all I have heard since is where was that steak place you took me? That was the best steak I have had ever! My daddy is so cute! The Dallas steak is the best!

Love that place. I’ve never left that place disappointed. I love their steaks. Asking for medium well would be perfect for a moist steak. Their buns snd cinnamon butter is so yummy

This place was pretty good and comparable with other similar steakhouse restaurants. However, be advised that the wait can get rather long if you go at 6 on a Saturday. We waited just over an hour for a table for two. Despite how busy they were, they service was still really good. Our waiter was very attentive and quick with refills for our drinks and rolls. The food was good and the portions were huge. We both filled a to-​go box with our meals. I have been to various Texas Roadhouse locations and the food is generally always good. I would recommend giving this place a try. The prices are reasonable and you are sure to leave full.
