The owner contacted me and offered a gift card and an apology. The owners are good people. That’s what matters. The situation was handled and we will continue to shop there because we love their clothing selection.

Bella is a remarkable boutique in Bakersfield. Mostly due to the fact that they are able to pick up on trends before they boom, thus maximizing their capital and maintaining a prominent figure in the Bakersfield boutique scene.
Case in point, was the Juicy Couture craze five or so years ago. You would be hard-​pressed to find a girl without a charm bracelet or tracksuit, and so it became the ideal Christmas gift. I know this because my own boyfriend was one of the, dare I say hundreds, of men shopping here last minute to find this in-​demand gift. He spoke so highly of their customer service and free gift wrapping that I instantly became a dedicated patron myself.
Since then, I can count on the wonderful owners and staff at Bella’s to find me the perfect outfit. While the boutique itself is less than 1800 or so square feet, it manages to hold quite the selection of upscale designer items. From party dresses and denim, to shoes and accessories, and yes, even those tracksuits; they manage to cover the fashion gamut.
By no means will you find a bargain, it is after all in one of the most costly zipcodes in the 661. Far from Beverly Hills, Bella at the Marketplace manages to still provide that Rodeo-​esque feeling. You’ll love the shopping experience, although AmEx may not.

I love Bella! This is by far one of the best designer boutiques in Bakersfield! Best selection of denim and dresses! I love walking in and being greeted by name, and getting a phone call when there is new items in I might like. I support local when I shop so my first stop is always here! Thanks ladies!
