Absolutely the worst possible business ever. I have been waiting since February to get my shutters installed correctly. They brought the wrong order to my house. The man said it would take two weeks for it to be corrected and it has been 4 months. I’m sure I will even get a call back at this point. I DONOT recommend this company. I wish I would have gone with another company. What a shame…

This is by far the worst place I have ever done business with, I had bought blinds from this place and they made them wrong, I went back to have them exchanged and the girl on the front desk blamed it on me, and refused to fix the problem. I requested to speak to the owner but was not avaliable, I had to wait one week to speak to him who was of mo help since he had the same attitude as her employee. I had to pay money to get my blinds fixed for a mistake that wasnt mine. Worst service ever, I’m never going back to this place.

I am normally not one to post a review online but my experience with Vertical Factory and their employee Victor, has been so horrible that I feel compelled to describe exactly why I would never again use or recommend this company. Over 2 years ago I purchased custom shutters for my home. After the shutters were installed, I realized that half of them did not open or shut. I called and Victor came back out to make the necessary repairs. At that time it was discovered that the frames were the wrong size and would need to be reordered. This was TWOYEARSAGO. I have called and complained more times than I can count and the company and Victor continue to ignore and elude me. I understand that mistakes happen. However, when they are made they should be acknowledged and corrected in a professional and efficient manner. To go into hiding and refuse to return calls is unprofessional and should be criminal. I guess my next step will be to file a civil claims case… let’s see them hide from the Sheriff’s Department serving them with an Order to Appear.

This place sucks, I took one blind almost a month ago to get it restrung, my fifth time to restring it. The girl that answered the phone said that they put my blind aside to do other work… REALLY! ! Next time I’m purchasing a blind somewhere else.

I am apalled by the horrible customer service now offered by this place. I’ve used them SEVERAL times over the last 10 years and NEVER ever encountered what I encountered today. A gentlemen came to our house to estimate blinds on 11 windows plus a patio door. Upon arrival, I was not home but my husband, room mate and 17 year old son were. My son called me at work and said the gentleman needed to speak to me. He wanted to know what I wanted done(even though I spent 20 minutes on the phone with the receptionist over a week ago describing it all.) He was perturbed that I wasn’t there and insinuated that the men of the house might now know exactly what I wanted. I explained to him(again) that i needed estimates for horizontal blinds and faux wood shutters, so that my landlord could decide what route he wanted to take for all of the new windows he just had installed. The guy replies with: «I doubt your landlord is gonna want to spend $ 6k plus on shutters. The blinds that you want are vinyl mini blinds and can be purchased at Home Depot for about 12 bucks. I don’t know if you know this but we do all custom work. How did you hear about us?»(how does he know what my landlord wants? I replied: «Because I’ve used you guys multiple times, in the past, but never ever have i ever received such horrible customer service. It’s ok, I will go home, take the measurements and install the blinds myself if you want to turn down the work. Now please kindly return my son’s phone to him and get the F**K out of my house!» I am not sure why this surprises me, since lately ALLCUSTOMERSERVICE is just horrible. I don’t know what happened to offering good customer service to a paying customer. If you want fast cheap vertical blinds, i definitely recommend this place(for example if you’re a slum lord and just need to quickly cover a few windows, otherwise, BUYERBEWARE!!!

I ordered back here in 2010, no problems with order, installation or customer service. In fact I was very happy with product & service that I ordered again in April of this year… Big problem!!! Has been disappointed with customer service by far. The blinds are not here yet 5months later!!! No one bothers to call that it’s been on back up order. When I call to follow up, they don’t ever return your call unless you call them. Never again.

i was going to do zero stars but that wasn’t an option. I spent 1500 bucks on new blinds for the house. They didn’t install a window correctly and a huge portions froze up when i tried to open them. We wanted a view window to be able to be opened up from either side, but they stacked it on one side so the wind blows all these blinds. So I called them and they said it was 75 $ to come out and fix them. F U. Do not buy from this place!!!
