Na Tah Ka

And yet again, small town restaurant/​bar gives u just what u would expect (nothing less and more importantly nothing more). Ate there for lunch 3 days in a row (due to its convenient location to where I was working). Ordered the crispy chicken sandwich (ur run of the mill fast food chicken sandwich with no bells or whistles). Had the French Dip which was really good! Then the pulled pork sandwich (which was probably the worst I ever had). Go with the French Dip!

I was torn on 3 or 4 stars and would have done 3.5 if the option existed, but given the location of TahKahNah in a relatively rural Michigan town, I rounded up.
We went on a Friday night around 7pm and actually seemed to be the rush by a bit. The place has two sections; a relatively large dining room and a bar area. Both are decent, your average bar and dining room decorated with northern Michigan ambiance (lots of green, wood panels, ducks).
We started with some fried mushrooms which were a little salty and not as well seasoned as I would have liked, but very crunchy and with some ranch, pretty tasty. I had the perch at the recommendation of the waitress, which was delicious, fresh and crispy with a side of mashed potatoes with bacon butter– obviously that was very good. My wife had the French dip, which was also very good. The sandwich had lots of caramelized onions and cheese. Good stuff.
The service is a touch slow– I think they only had two servers on the whole dining room, but they were fairly attentive and nothing took too long.
I would definitely go back!

This is a good place. It is not a fancy place but it is nice and clean. The food is good. The waitstaff is friendly. Not expensive but fairly priced. We had a group of 10 that went to eat and watch the NCAA Tournament after a day fishing. It was a good call. Pizza, sandwiches, nachos, fries, hamburgers… everyone liked what they ordered. The nachos could have been bigger but that’s searching for an issue. Decent beer and liquor selection. Good TVs to watch a game. Overall a fun night. Go check them out at Na Tah Ka South and Enjoy!
