Never going bad — incredibly rude(and frightening) service — don’t even think of asking to use the bathroom unless you want to get yelled at and potentially chased out of the store.

Came in from out of town and stumbled upon this adorable place! The people were so nice and friendly, and the coffee was delicious. Exactly the type of place I’d like to go to to start my morning. And the specialty olive oils, beers, spreads, etc make the perfect gifts. LOVETHISPLACE! Would recommend to anyone to check out!

I should have read the reviews before going there. Very rude employees and owner. Food was over priced and was horrible. When asked to used the bathroom was told that they don’t have a public restroom. How can they serve food and not have a restroom. They won’t be in business long and I’m sure they know it.

I wouldn’t even give this place one star, but I guess I have have to pick at least one. I will never stop here again. Unfriendliest people I have ever encountered here and the RULES!?! Seriously! Read the other reviews, they are not joking. Just keep driving down the road to Cappie’s Diner. It’s not the fanciest beer or chocolate there, but at least they’re nice people.

Very rude owner and workers. Went for lunch and I assume because it was our first visit and we asked questions, they got annoyed. There are plenty of other places to get food without the attitude that we got here. Read other reviews and that was why we went, but never again!

I have witnessed this place transform into a truly unique place to grab breakfast or lunch. The food is always made fresh to order and the daily specials are always great. The sandwiches have Boar’s Head freshly sliced and when served toasted are fantastic. On another note, they have an amazing beer selection, but currently they don’t have a license to serve, so you’re stuck waiting until you get home to drink it. This is a rare gem along an otherwise desolate part of route 67.

I stopped here because it was a Saturday and I was hungry. Unfortunately we missed the time frame where I could order food. Wah. But they were really nice about the fact I couldn’t eat and offered me some soup which I didn’t want but it was nice of them. Fortunately this place has a pretty amazing beer selection. Although the man who I assume is the owner had no idea what the beers tasted like he quickly pointed out some new finds that I haven’t seen in other beer stores, Horse Heads, and Citra Dog. Both which ended up being great. He did mention some other beers that he had in stock that I’ve tried before, and while he wasn’t sure what they tasted like he mentioned all the best beers. So he has a good source even if it’s not a personal experience. He was friendly and helpful. It’s also an extremely adorable inside, I’ll have to come back for sandwiches, maybe on a nice summer day.

The ONLY thing this place has going for it is that you can get a fancy chocolate or beer that normally isn’t immediately available in this low populated area. However, I would rather drive 15 more minutes to ANY other place as opposed to dealing with their rigid rules and snotty attitude. Be for warned NOPETSAREALLOWEDANYWHEREONTHEPROPERTY. NOTEVENTHEPARKINGLOTSODONTPULLINWITHYOURBELOVEDANIMALINTHECAR. DONTEVENATTEMPTTOUSETHEIRBATHROOMUNLESSYOUAREBUYINGSOMETHING, EVENIFYOUARE A REGULARCUSTOMERTHERE. Among other petty rules, there food is mediocre, but prices indicate you may get red onion on your deli sandwich. Not a chance. Lady/owner is rude and oblivious to customer service. These owners are control freaks. They want your money only. They don’t care about your comfort or have any concern for you. Please go here if you want to be told what to do and spoken to like your trespassing.

A country store with a modern twist! Good sandwiches. As a tourist on vacation this was a fun place to have lunch(one of us enjoyed that they serve breakfast all day). We bought some chocolates and while they may be the best in the area we would not consider this a chocolates destination. The same is true of the beer selection.

Wonderful, friendly staff. Great food, amazing beer selection. You can’t drink the beer with your meal but the iced teas will hold you over.

I will only get my gas there from now on. I will only buy my chocolate from them. They make it on site. If I forget to make my ‘spresso in the morning, I will stop there. I do wish they carried more than a couple of gluten free beers. I will keep working on them. They carry local coffee, local tea, local salsas, chutneys, jams… I was pretty blown away. So as a locavore, I really appreciate the stuff these folks are bravely doing. I haven’t looked at the convenience foods since I rarely can eat such things anyhow. If this place is en route to anywhere for you, stop and check it out. It’s small so it won’t take you ages, but I bet it will change the way you think about being out in the country. I feel like civilization is close by. Check out their events online. Beer tastings, car enthusiast and horse-lovers’ events… this is the hidden GEM of the entirety of Route 67.

Not your fathers gas station. Great café, deli, and beer lovers paradise. 180 different types high end brews. Great sandwiches, and great service. Really can’t say enough, just one of a kind in this area. Stop in grab a sandwich and Samuel smiths and you won’t be disappointed. Only wish there was more places like this.
