Jet’s Pizza

My wife and I stopped in for lunch on the recommendation of a co-​worker, we had driven past many times but just never gotten around to trying it. We were the only customers in the shop at 11:30 thankfully, we weren’t familiar with the menu and we’re trying to decide what we wanted. The young man behind the counter asked if we had questions and then offered suggestions on crust type and toppings.
We were going to order a couple of personal salads but he told us one small would be enough for us both to enjoy. He made some accommodations on salad ingredients and we placed our order. He was very helpful and polite, we got our drinks and debated ourselves.
They brought the salad out shortly, it was very fresh and crisp provided two salad dressings and it was plenty for two. The pizza arrived and was nicely covered with cheese, bacon, and mushrooms. We had ordered the Turbo crust on his suggestion and it was very good thick and crisp with a good garlic flavor. The toppings were very good and plenty of them, very nice melted cheesy layer.
Right after we came in and ordered the place started getting busyand by the time we got our salad, most of the other tables were filled.
We ate so happy we decided to try Jets, the salad and pizza were delicious, the staff very friendly and helpful and we had plenty leftover for dinner later. We will definitely be back.

I ordered a barbecue pizza with salad and wings and they sent it on its way the guy got there and I smelled the Salad and it smelled like cigarettes I got a head ache

Unfortunately not a good experience. One hour 15 minutes to deliver a lukewarm, excessively greasy pizza that looked like yesterday’s overnight pizza.

Always had a good experience here. Not sure of the negative reviews (?). Our favorite is the 8 corner pizza. But we always enjoy the salads too. Tonight I went for the large garden salad and the Jets boat (like a calzone). The jets boat was tasty! Put pepperoni in this one. Next time, I would ask for a side of sauce to dip in though!

The staff here is rude, unorganized, and truly just horrible. They lack communication skills and do not even know how to provide the most basic customer service. On top of that, the pizza is burnt 50% of the time and the other 50% it’s cold. I highly discourage you to avoid Jets Pizza at all costs.

Pizza is ok, however, I have to give this place 1 Star because of the delivery time. This is the 3^rd time we’ve ordered delivery and it’s always a long wait. This will be my last. We ordered over an hour ago as of now and the food is still not here. It would be one thing if they said the time was going to be long, but they said 35 – 40 minutes, and here we are 1 hour 15min later and counting.

Normally I love this place. Tonight’s experience was a real bummer. My order was 5 minutes shy of being half an hour late, and was cold. The driver was on his phone nearly the entire time I dealt with him and he didn’t have a pen for me to sign the slip. He didn’t knock on my door, but opened the screen door and talked on the phone. Finally I opened it and he stuck his phone in his pocket to hand stuff over then immediately began talking again. As someone who works in customer service, I was upset at how i was treated this evening.

My first ever Jets pizza experience was in Ohio. Some friends say they make a BBQ chicken pizza with sweet baby rays as the sauce. I said I’m down with that.
The BBQ chicken pizza is the best pizza they make. From the BBQ sauce and the big chunks of chicken the chopped bacon with the mozzarella cheese equals awesome.
The chicken parmesan is good minus the tomatoes.
The traditional and boneless wings are good with BBQ sauce. There not covered in sauce they have just there right amount of sauce. I hate wings that are soaked in sauce.
The cinnamon stix for dessert are a great way to end a meal. Fresh baked bread cover in cinnamon and vanilla icing.

We tried Jets when they first opened. I didn’t think the pizza was special and I thought it pricey.
Last night my kids saw the sign in the window hot slices so we went in to grab something quick as it was late. It had a sign under new management so I thought maybe we should try it again. (Wrong)
Well, the hot slices were old but she said she warms them up in the microwave. Gross. I can eat reheated food at home. So we ordered a medium cheese pizza and buffalo boneless wings.
First, after I ordered and paid I noticed the diet Pepsi was out of order. Only other diet soda was sobe water. Great.
Then we waited 20 mins for our pizza and I went up to the counter it was sitting there. The employees all acted like I was bothering them when I asked for anything. –like when the soda was out –one empty parmasean cheese container out-​asked for more, an employee grunted at me and got me a couple packets –got a grunt when I asked if that was my pizza sitting there
My boneless wings were low quality. I didn’t expect much but for 7.00, I would expect more quality chicken and they were just fried bites with buffalo sauce on top-​lets of gristle and chewiness. They were gross-​and no blue cheese or ranch dipping sauce.
The quality of employees was worse than anything I’ve encountered. I will not be back, and I am going to let everyone know not to spend your money here.

I just moved to the area and have gotten carry out from this Jets a few times and have gotten delivery once so far. I will be ordering again! The pizza is fantastic! I love the thick crust! Delivery did take the quoted 45 minutes but the guy was SO FRIENDLY! Wasn’t scared of my vicious miniature poodle and made small talk. My Donimos guys dont say anything to me. Even at the store the workers are always so nice and talk to me if I get there before the pizza is done. Fantastic place, definitely give it a try! I personally love the small thick crust for just me, or the large when family is over. And always the cinnamon sticks, always! YUM!

We love their square pizza, especially the corners! I would recommend the cheese sticks if you’re eating in. If not, they get cool and hard once you get them home and don’t reheat well. Anyways, the current manager there is great and puts his customers first.

Ok let’s be honest — this pizza tastes a lot like Pizza Hut! I had this pizza when they first opened bc it was a late dinner, I was hungry and coupon flyers were on my counter. I ordered the 8 corner pizza and thought it was fine. The cheese and sauce were pretty good and the crust was crispy but a little greasy. Overall it’s not my fav but I will keep it in mind for those late night, last minute kind of dinners.

Ermagerd pizza. Deepdish with mushrooms and bacon, slap on some turbo crust, and you have dinner for four. Or just me. Delivery takes ages, and costs way too much, so minus one star.

up at 6:10 (30 minutes) I
finally got mine around 7
and the whole time there
were deliveries going out
that could in no way been
ordered before I called. I
hope they read this cause
the good pizza is the only
reason I would go again.

We’ve just finished our second meal delivered from Jet’s. And it’s not half bad.
The first time we ordered, it took around 1.5 hrs to arrive. The boneless wings had bones. And the NY Style pizza was sliced into a lot of little slices, like a regular pizza. It didn’t taste any different than Dominoes to me. We chalked it up to a bad night, and gave it another try.
This time, we ordered the 8 corner pizza, which reminded me a lot of Pizza Hut deep dish, but tastier. It was actually pretty good for chain delivery pizza. The sauce had a nice flavor & the crust was crispy. The boneless wings were quite good — decent quality white meat that could almost pass for house made. The medium wing sauce was a good amount of kick without being overwhelming. The hot sauce is hot — it’ll make your mouth and chin burn :)
Overall, I will keep Jet’s in mind & I’m sure we’ll order from them again. I’m still a bigger fan of some other local pizza places, and Sam’s Club takeout pizza (YEAH I SAID IT), but Jet’s will do in a pinch and really is better than the other delivery places in the area. I would suggest getting the 8 corner pizza, if you like thick crust.

This is for delivery only. This is a thick crust pizza with mozzarella cheese. I ordered the 8 corner pizza with peperoni and bacon. I added extra mozzarella and pepperoni. This drove the price with delivery fee’s and tax to $ 25.60. $ 5 tip and bang you have a $ 30 pizza. Now that is a hunk of change for a pizza.
Some things of note the bacon was tiny bacon crumples. The crust is huge and very flavorful I just don’t know if I am a non Chicago style pizza thick crust. Chicago style has it’s way of building a pizza where Jet’s is really a thick crust normal pizza. So it is a personal thing I suggest give a try and see if you like.
It is a nice new option to the area.

We were happy to see a familiar face from North Carolina here in Saint Louis. We discovered Jets and fell for their thick flavorful crusts. This is not Saint Louis or New York style pizza! This is more like Detroit style with the flavored crust (get the turbo crust) or Chicago style with the deep dish.
In the past we had only ordered the 8-​corner pizza and never felt the need to betray and try anything else on the menu. With some new coupons, we tried the wings, bacon bread, as well as the standard large pizza, both also good. 8-​Corner is still our favorite. I like that it is get ½ toppings with the way these pizzas are shaped — we get more flavors for the same price.
The interior of this store is nice, clean, and somewhat industrial, with a handful of two-​top and four-​top tables and a soda machine.
Most of the time I just order take out but for lunch it makes a good destination as well since they do pizza by the slice, with a pretty quick turn-​around time.
Check their website for coupons to print, which can also be different than the deals if you place your order online — a bit odd and a small amount of work to save a buck or two.
Also take note that at night their lit sign can be a bit blinding and distracting. Helpful for the first time finding the place off Manchester, but it seems a bit much.
We are glad we have a go-​to pizza place now.

I don’t really like deep dish pizza unless its from Giordanos. I grew up eating NY za so I prefer thin crust over deep dish. BUT, after an hour of begging from the lil bro, we decided to give Jet’s Pizza a try. We got a large deep dish pepperoni and also got the Jet’s bread, which I enjoyed more than the pizza! Warm fluffy bread with yummy cheese baked on top and a side of pizza sauce, it wasn’t as thick as the pizza. And since the sauce was on the side, I could really taste the garlic (which is a good thing)
The pizza was decent for a deep dish. It was way too doughy for me, though. One thin layer of pizza sauce, cheese, and pepperoni, and then this gigantic thick layer of dough. I was full after one slice, but then again I did eat three pcs of Jet’s bread prior to eating the pizza :)
I’d give this place another go. Next time though, I’ll try their hand tossed style, along with their Jet’s bread of course!

We decided to try a new pizza joint that just opened in the area. They were a little slow on the delivery, but they are probably working out the kinks in their system.
We got a four topping hand-​tossed pizza (mozzarella, pepperoni, italian sausage, and black olive. The crust was perfect The sauce was wonderful.
And it very reasonably price compared to the St Louis standard Imo’s
We will try it again with a different style

Jet’s Pizza is not the type of pizza you are used to in St. Louis. I have come to love the St. Louis style pizza but I loved Jet’s first — when I lived in Michigan. Jet’s is known for their thick, crispy butter crust and delicious sauce. Jet’s also offers a variety of other items like subs, garlic cheese bread and «Jet’s boats» — which are basically calzones.
This location in Ballwin is for both dine-​in and carry-​out. The proprietor and employees are friendly and the food is great. Give this place a try!
