So hookah is usually something my friends and I do on the weekends to meet and chill. We moves to the neighborhood and thought we would try this place. Let me be blunt– the hookah sucked — the service was poor– and everything was over prices. Honestly it’s not that hard to run a solid hookah place but somehow they messed that up. They took our IDs when we came in they don’t give them till you leave(what is the point of that when there are two people inside) and then they didn’t know the cover charge and were out of the solid flavors(common stuff like apple and watermelon). They had tvs that didn’t work. I would never come back.

Love the service in here and lexis is sweet server. I been going to this hookah lounge for a long time and the owner Diego he is been super nice with me and my friend. They have nice hookah and they can make fruit bowl that make you feel that you are in best atmosphere. So I do suggest to go there.

Their sheesha is on point, smooth and doesn’t get harsh plus they have all clean khaleel mahmoon pipes, place has a nice ambiance and doesnt play loud music. Very relaxing overall. FYI if you are an out of towner they do charge a gratuity fee on top of their hookah prices . We love Arabic music, is very relaxing. Also they do hold your card and I’D which they don’t do back where we are from. But overall we had an awesome experience

This place has really good hookah! HOWEVER, my boyfriend and I went just recently and the owner is RUDE! He was yelling at his staff and only worried about money! It’s hard to support an organization that treats their staff like crap! Don’t support him! The ladies were nice!

This place is awful. We first got there and they told us they had to hold our card in order for us to be seated. Then when we finally sat down they told us that we had to buy food in order for us to drink. They played Arabic music the entire night and the bathroom was filthy. I had to keep interrupting the waitresses hookah session with her friends in order to get service and the hookahs weren’t working properly. I ended up leaving very early and was angry that I had to pay an open item fee at the end of my visit. I will NEVER go there again.

I’m surprised at all the negative reviews for this place. Arabian Nights is the first hookah bar I’ve been to and my friends and I had a great time. We came around 1:30 am after the bars in Fed Hill closed. There was no wait and we were seated after one of the tables was quickly cleaned. We were given the run down before we were seated: $ 5 cover and there was a $ 10 minimum per person, which seemed okay. After we were seated we ordered two hookahs — honey and peach. The hookahs were quickly brought out for us and they gave us individual mouth pieces. The mouth pieces didn’t seem to fit on one of the hookahs, but we just put it on upside down and made it work. The peach flavor was a lot stronger and tasted better than the honey. There was a worker who came by to move the coals around and give us new ones, but he only came around twice. I wish they had given us the tongs so we could have moved the coals around ourselves. The DJ played great music and kept everyone entertained. And the seating was comfortable as well. Total damage for 2 hookahs and a soda including tip was about $ 12 each for four of us. Definitely a cool spot to check out after a night of bar hopping in Fed.

I wish I could give this place a better rating. I saw the mixed reviews but i still wanted to give it a chance. Should have listened to the reviews so I could have saved myself a bad experience. Showed up at 7:56PM with a friend and as soon as we walk through the door we get screamed at by a woman across the room. She repeats over and over again that the place isn’t open before we could even ask a question.(Here’s a tip if your not open lock the door, that usually works). So after we check the website and the door we find out the place is suppose to open at 8PM. We wait just to give it another chance because we really wanted some hookah. We open the door at 8:05PM to once again get screamed at by this shadowy figure(who is sitting down apparently not doing much) that they don’t open for 30 minutes like we already knew that! If the times are different then the door or internet then put a sign up! Then try being professional and speaking to your customers like human beings, the people who put money in your pocket. We step outside to watch another larger group of people walk in and get the same treatment. So hey don’t go here, if they treat all the customers this bad no amount of atmosphere, hookah, or anything else will make up for it. So hopefully this hole-in-wall gets shut down or goes out of business because the world might just be a better place afterwards.

Was waiting out in the cold for this place to open on NYE. It was supposed to open at 8pm and it didn’t open until almost 30 mins later. The music was loud, which was great, but the music selection was horrible. The workers seemed more concerned with taking selfies and smoking hookah and snacking on food. I will not be returning. I’ve been to better hookah spots that cost much less.

I can agree that waiting in line, and paying cover are two downsides to this place. However, I thought this place was pretty chill. I actually enjoyed the music here, more so than the bars in Fed Hill. I still find it kind of lame that all of the bars close around 130−2am. From what I can recall, AN closes at 4am. It’s a good place to go to chill after bar hopping. I thought the staff was very friendly, and very easy to talk to. I did not encounter any sketchy people either. I would definitely be willing to swing by if I’m in town again.

DONOTGOHERE! Not only do they charge a $ 5 cover charge, we waited outside for 30 min, the hookah is over– priced, the music is too loud(and bad), the staff treats you like children and are pompous. Oh and there’s fine print which they surprise you with at the end, $ 10 min per person. After all my buddies left I got stuck with an $ 80 bill bc no one knew. This place is terrible and it’s a rip off. Never, ever, ever, go here.

This place is so, so bad. This music is WAY too loud and not that great. Huge rip off. Read the fine print and watch out for the minimum charge per person. Easily the worst hookah bar I have ever been to.

Do not go here The only good thing about this place was the hookah, and that’s pretty hard to mess up. Must was too loud, ‘couches’(bench) was uncomfortable, «dj»(guy changing songs every 15 – 20 seconds) was terrible, service was ½ attentive. I can’t believe how loud and bad the music was, one single PA speaker on the wall turned up about twice as loud as it ever should be, I left with a headache.

Very weird experience. I went there on the night I was celebrating my 21st birthday and it was my first time ever visiting a hookah bar so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Of course, I still had some vision in my mind of what a hookah bar would be like and this was not it at all… My friend and I waited in line for an entire hour for a table because no one was leaving, and every time a group did leave a group of people who were friends with the owner would show up and be let in immediately. The line was pretty long and a lot of people just kept leaving which I should have done but we were at the front and I wanted the experience. When we finally got in it was ridiculously packed. There was no walking space and it was all super chaotic. It was more like a night club than a lounge with girls jumping up on guys dancing and people just being drunk and obnoxious. One girl fell over and knocked over some hookahs and my friend and I decided it was time to leave. However, I don’t know if they forgot or if it was because it was only two of us or because we were one of the last people they let it… I don’t know but whatever it was we didn’t get hit with the $ 10 per person minimum. The hookah itself was nice though, we ordered strawberry which was really good and delivered pretty promptly. So that’s the only thing keeping it from getting just one star.

Worst hookah place I have been to! After I ordered a hookah for 3 people the guy didn’t even tell me that it was $ 10 per person. So basically paid extra 15 for nothing. Their hookah doesn’t smoke properly and they play Arabic music. Not recommended to anyone!

I was wanting a hookah place, and I should have been warded off by the lady that asked for a $ 5 cover. That being said, what I encountered was not what I expected. Though they did have hookahs, they also had a DJ who played music way too loud and a clientele that turned the place into a night club. Though it was somewhat entertaining to watch all the dry humping that was going on, I would have settled for a hookah and a conversation and any of the 4 things I ordered off their menu that they were out of. How can you call yourself an Arab hookah bar and be out of both hummus and falafel?

BESTHOOKAHBAR I’VEEVERBEENTO. Sure they require a 5 dollar cover, but if you come with a big group and order 6 hookahs, it comes out to a fair deal. We had the passion fruit mojito, tequila sunrise, grape, plum, 360 X and berry. It hit the spot pretty well and the flavors were strong. The owners were so friendly and amiable. They even offered us free water. Overall it came out to 14 dollars per person including tip. So that’s not bad, $ 19 for 6 hookahs? Might go back sometime this month, so if you see a chick behind storms of hookah, that’s me!

Bars basically close at 1:15 in Bmore, so the Federal Hillbillies need a place to hang out after hours that doesnt include a trip to University for being beaten & robbed. I mean, The Block never closes, but if you want to mildly decrease your chances of contracting herpgonosyphilis, you’ll stick to SoBo. There are no windows, smoke is thick, and the music is late ‘90s /early 2000 hip hop. No problem really, the big windows at Zeeba overlooking an empty Light Street at 4AM isnt exactly awe inspiring. Staring at fiends panhandling & looking to rob someone kinda blows my high. After hours drinks are an obvious plus, though I’m pretty sure the special is X coladas. That’s why the owners were feeling on every chick that walked by, right?
