Alex is the best!!! She was so sweet and didn’t mind explaining the flavors to us. She also made sure that we got our hookah and drinks as quickly as possible even though it was super busy! We will defenitely be back just because of her! :D

Decent hookah but extremely poor service. On a Friday evening after being greeted and ordering hookah, tea, and food our waitress didn’t forget about us, so much as she checked in but then promptly disregarded any request that we made. The hookah and tea was delivered. Twenty minutes later we asked about the food and were told it is still being prepared. Thirty minutes after that the waitress returned to say the kitchen was backed up and she just wanted to double check that she put our order in correctly. The order was for 1 gyro and there were 6 people in the place. How backed up could it be? We had to ask repeatedly for new coals reminding the staff who seemed much more comfortable sitting and socializing with friends than actually looking after the customers. Same deal with asking for a glass of water. It took 30 minutes. And trying to get the bill to pay and leave, tack another 30 minutes on to the experience. Overpriced isn’t the worst part. I’d be willing to pay of the service warranted it. It did not. I will will not be returning and I suggest you save the time and frustration and find a better lunge to smoke. The only reason this is two stars and not one is that he actual hookah was pretty good. It’s a shame, this place could be so much better if they cared.

Went here for my friends 21st. It was about 10 of us. At the door the guy triple checked my ID which I thought was strange but whatever. Then he says its a $ 10 minimum. I’m like okay. We go in one can of soda $ 2!!! A CANOFSPRITE my friends. Don’t bother asking for water which in most places is free. Here they bring you bottled water that costs about $ 3. The food was okay. I ordered the sampler app and the gyro both were ok. The deserts were also pretty good almost cost as much as the water. We had 2 hookahs which were good and the waitress was really attentive. The sitting situation was off. I was stuck sitting on a snuck in stool with no back which was uncomfortable. It really missed a dance floor because they had decent music. So then it came time to pop bottles. I’m not sure how much but I’m pretty sure it was a ridiculous fee for us to unscrew the bottle ourselves. Then it came time to pay. Your downtown expect to pay more plus you have a large party. But of course they didn’t care how many people are were in the party they slapped a like 20% gratuity on all purchases. Like what??? Doesn’t matter party size. So if you get shitty service your out of luck because they are still getting 20%. But all that aside. I had a great time and probably but probably not be back!!! Unless they run a special.

Zeeba Lounge is a nice place to come and relax. If you have a big party, make sure you call for a reservation. They have a fresh fruit hookah which I think is just for the look, it doesn’t enhance the flavor at all. The mango peach is a nice starter flavor if you haven’t tried hookah before. They do serve food which is actually pretty good for a place that doesn’t specialize in food. It is a BYOB place. They do have uncorking fees, so that could end up getting a tad pricey. They do have juices and sodas there if you want to make a mixed drink. They will keep your beer in the back to keep it chilled too which is nice. The belly dancer will interact with you which is cool, especially if you go there with a group of your girlfriends and just want to have some fun trying to belly dance. If you go between 11p-1a, it’s going to be packed and you might not get a seat.

I have a few favorite things, and groupon and hookah are 2 of them. When those worlds collide, it is a recipe for a perfect chill night out. When you first walk in you are greeted with your typical hooka lounge atmosphere, colorful pillows, dim lighting and good music. With out groupon we got 2 teas(we tried the black tea which was good) 1 standard hooka(they have lots of options and would probably have choose from this list even if we didnt have the deal) and 1 app— and the food here is to DIE for, omg the curries meatballs were part of the sampler appetizer we got with our deal, but we couldnt get enough and had to order more! We also got the falafel panini, which again was great. I loved zeeba lounge and definitely recommended this place. Try the food its cheap eats and you will not be disappointed. Also service was on point!!!

Went after Opening Orioles Day last season for date night and had a great time. I’m not a hookah professional but the server explained everything very well and was joking around and made it a fun experience. They do charge for you to BYOB — that’s to make sure you don’t get out of control with the drinking. They are a little pricey but you can usually find a good Groupon or deal elsewhere. I had a great time and would definitely recommend checking it out. Overall — fun servers, short wait, belly dancing entertainment, and wonderful ambiance.

At Baltimore’s Zeeba Hookah Lounge this Saturday, two of my friends and I watched as a waitress threw a knife at a black patron who had been fighting and proceeded to call him a «fucking nigger.» Unless this waitress is fired, we will not be giving our business to an establishment that respects the color of our money, but not the color of our skin. #boycottZeeba. Check out the Cigar Lounge on N. Charles. They have better service and more options.

Nice ambience, very busy. Prices are good and hookah lasts a long time. After 2, your byob goes away and returned to upon leaving. Overall it was a fun experience and will be returning again soon.

Cool spot. Nice ambiance. Friendly staff. Came here with one other person. Was told hookah was $ 17 and tea was $ 3/cup. 3 teas and one hookah and my bill was $ 49? Oh and they added their own gratuity. Funny thing is I would have tipped more if doing it myself. May come back but was grossly over priced.

Decent hookah, friendly service and busy on a fri night… Worth checking out… First and far most, Zeeba lounge is not to be taken lightly. They have an amazing customer service, just appears that they might be understaffed and hence longer wait, as well as order confusions. One cannot deny that the hosts at the lounge try their best to make sure that each patron walking through the doors has a great time. Besides the obvious hookah variety, ample food choices can leave one looking at the menu a few times. Having been to countless hookah lounges, their food is not to be underestimated as the presentation matches the great taste. The panini sandwich is accompanied with chips and is of a good portion size. To match the entrees, desserts and drinks(coffees, fruit juices, etc) too offer several choices. No Alcohol is served, but is welcome to be brought in. With plenty of hookah varieties, the combinations of flavors allows one to really mix it up. Prices are fair and rounds are made by the staff to allow us to have a good time. From fruit flavors to a variety of starbuzz concoctions, one is surely in for a good time. My only gripe as I mentioned before, it appeared only two hostesses were present and the orders were slow and some things ordered for the group were forgotten. Overall, a good option for the Baltimore hookah fanatics. Also, one cannot deny the crowd in and outside of the venue, so definitely, Zeeba Lounge is for sure trying their best to make this spot noteworthy.

We went here in a whim this Friday and it was a lot of fun! There was one waitress in particular who was just fabulous… And I’m so sorry I can’t give her a shout out here because I forgot her name!(I even wrote it down!) but you’ll know when you see her because she has the best waist in all of Baltimore. Service from her was great. The belly dancer didn’t impress me at all, but the environment was fun and we made great friends with our neighbors. Packed house also, but we got there just in time at about 9pm.

Had such a fun night here this past Friday! I was super excited to see they have belly dancers but they didn’t show up that night :( Other than that the service was great! All the staff was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about hookah. The atmosphere is a little grown and sexy, it’s pretty dark and the tables are in front of a booth with stools around. I thought it was really cool that they have a lot of unique flavors and even some are from actual fruits! We got the Jack Sparrow I believe that it was inside of a pineapple! Very cool. With 6 people it lasted us a good 2 hours maybe more… who’s keeping track?! There is a $ 8 cork fee per bottle and $ 1 per beer but it’s worth it, you end up spending a lot less than going out to a bar. They stay open until 4 but I guess the law is no liquor after 2, which I can live by. Fun for a date or even fun chill night with friends, kind of gives off both vibes.

Bottom Line: The service was poor and fees were not explained upfront. If you must go: To get the best bang for your buck, bring liquor that you already had at home and drink it straight! Their mixers(which you HAVETO use) are severely upsold. Details below. —Hidden and inflated fees. It’s BYOB because they failed to secure a liquor license. So if you didn’t know that already, they’ll «help» you out by sending you down the street to their friend’s liquor store. BUT be sure not to buy your own mixer because what they may or may not tell you(they didn’t tell us) is that you HAVETO use their mixers. Want a can of coke? $ 3. An oversize can of coke? No. Just a regular, $ 0.25, can of coke. I’ve never dealt with corkage fees($ 8) before HOWEVER it seems backwards to charge me to drink from the bottle I bought from your friend because you failed to get a liquor license. —Service When the server did attend to us, she was sweet. Potentially because she knew she was about to hose us with fees. But most of the time, I had to chase her down because she forgot what we asked for. She WAS knowledgeable about the hookahs and which flavors went together. She may have been the manager or something. —Hookah The starbuzz+fruit bowl hookah was really good! No complaints about that at all. Well, the coffee+vanilla hookah was not so very smooth. –Décor Seating is a bit awkward because the tables are low and the ottomans for seating and almost equal height. But they keep it dark in there so the environment is very chill. –Entertainment At some point, these bright colored lights came on and the music started blaring and a bellydancer came out. I think she was good fun!

The three great things going for this place is that the décor here is upscale Arabic/Moroccan style, the fact that its BYOB(however, $ 8 corkage fee & few other fees), and the food, which is quite good! If your coming here for just the hookah, its average. But if your coming here for a chill night with friends, then its for sure worth your money! Overall, good hookah joint, expensive, but worth it if its with a group of four or more. Enjoy!:)

Pros: *Intimate setting, belly dancing is cool *BYOB *Food is delicious, teas are good *Premium tobacco is smooth and excellent, great flavors, and fruit bowl option is unique Cons: *The servers try pretty hard, but since they’re shortstaffed, inevitably things get missed or screwed up *Corkage fees are outrageous. Be prepared for this *Pricey *Kinda incomplete — interior décor and atmosphere could use some work *Groupon users are not allowed to walk in Tips: *Make reservations(call after 6pm), especially if you have a Groupon. 1 – 2 weeks in advance if you can. *Belly dancing starts at 10pm and only on Friday and Saturday nights *Be proactive and persistent with your attendant. Have a good attitude and get their attention if you want or need something. Don’t expect things to come out quickly or your coal to be managed It was my second time at Zeeba, and to be honest I probably won’t come back unless it’s with a Groupon.

I wanted to like this place since my friend recommended it, but compared to the hookah bars in DC, it really had big shoes to fill! Honestly, if I could. I would give this place a 2 ½ stars. I wasn’t content with the décor/atmosphere, the tables and chairs were too close together, I wanted it to be a little darker and instead… I felt like I shared someones living room with a bunch of people. There was no music… perhaps it was too early?(8:30pm) I will say that the chicken kobab and meatballs was heavenly and I like the idea of byob… so we did, but the bill at the end was still a little hefty. After an hour of being there. a belly dancer came out and did her thing but she was very mediocre. Im not suggesting Not to go to this spot but it wouldn’t be my «go to» spot for lounging and hookah. I guess I have been spoiled by other establishments. That is all.

If you have a groupon and wish to make a reservation, it’s better if you stop in and make one rather than call. Myself and a friend called all day to make reservation and alas no one answered. Be mindful the corkage fee on bottles is 8, on beer it’s 1. 40oz are 3, LOL! For it to be a lounge the music was minimal. Only when the belly dancer came on was any music turned up to a listenable level. I probably would not come back.

The night started off well with friends. I was playing third wheel but still was enjoying myself. We started with two hookahs since one of my friends had a Groupon. The atmosphere was pretty chill. I ordered the smoke salmon and my friend ordered he sampler. The smoked salmon was really good but only came with two pieces. The sampler is a choice you should pass on! My advice is to not come here hungry. The food is like tapas style and expensive for what you get. The belly dancer came out and she was okay as she added to the vibe. The service started out as attentive then went to none existent. We went for 45 minutes without another coal for our hookah. We were getting annoyed so the party decided to leave. We told the manager and asked for our check which took another 20 minutes. I was not impressed but may give them another chance to redeem themselves.

Came here with a group of friends because I had a Groupon here. It was pretty nice! We came on a Thursday night, a little after 9PM. While the lounge was pretty empty, parking still proved to be a massive pain. Somehow I ended up with a spot across the street from Zeeba… but it required about 10 minutes of driving around the area and some driving acrobatics. If you are coming in a group, consider carpooling. The inside was very warm-looking(like a coffeehouse) but had a hint of trendiness about it. It was slightly dimmed with some Middle Eastern music playing. The music was pretty laid back but became more electronic and happening as the night went on. The seats and tables were okay, though perhaps a little mildly uncomfortable if you sat on the ottoman-like chairs. We ordered a hookah with a mint-rose combination(highly recommended by the way). The hookah that came out was clean and well-maintained. There was only one hose. We were told that Zeeba doesn’t put more than one hose on their hookahs. No big deal for me but just throwing out that info; if you have a larger group, you may want to order a second hookah instead of passing the one hose around to everybody. The Groupon also came with teas, all of which were all well-recieved. I had the ginger-lemon which had a good balance of ginger and citrus, especially after adding a touch of sugar. We also got an appetizer platter, which was pretty large. We had already eaten dinner earlier so we weren’t too hungry… the platter was enough for the four of us. It came with hummus, pita, 3 meatballs, 2 Dolma(stuffed grape leaves), and 2 Spanakopites(spinach/feta stuffed pastry). Most of the items were pretty good. One friend loved the meatballs(I agree it was pretty good) while another wasn’t a big fan of the stuffed grape leaves. Hummus and pita weren’t the best I had but it was decent. It was pretty empty and laid back when we were there… but I’d bet it’d probably be a little more crowded and happening during the weekends(apparently they’re open til 4AM on Fri and Sat and have belly dancing on those nights as well). Service was unobtrusive but very accommodating and fast whenever we had a need and flagged down the server. One thing I didn’t like so much was if you are sitting at the back left of the lounge(like we were), the employee back-room door is nearby. However, the inside of that room is very brightly lit unlike the lounge so whenever workers run in and out, you can get a little blinded by the lights. Note that on the menu, it appeared there’s a $ 10 minimum per person… seems reasonable to me; I’m guessing that in the past there were large groups that shared one hookah for several hours and left. Kind of hard to run a business if people do that… so I’m fine with that rule. I’d come back… my friends also agreed with that sentiment.
