the novelty of this place is great. The first time i encountered the famouse mobile pizza oven was at a food truck gathering with open bar so i think my initial reaction was a little over inflated. I thought it was the bessssttt pizzaaa eevvveeerr. granted i had been drinking so i knew i needed to try again. Dizzy cow set up in the harbor across the street from my office at least once a week when the farmers market would come on Thursdays and then some random Tuesdays. The idea of fresh oven pizza conviently outside my door is awesome and i see why people pay for the novelty. and i do mean pay. prices range from $ 12-$ 14 for a pie depending on the toppings you get. The always have a list of suggested pizzas and normally they are a mix of classic ingredients with one or two you wouldnt think of. Every pizza i have had is OK. is it the best pizza i have ever had? No but its great when pizza is what you are craving and you dont want crappy dominos pizza. just watch out for any pizza that has olive oil on it as a topping. the olive oil tends to settle on the bottom of the plate and makes ther otherwise light and flaky crust soggy. Wait times are not as long as you would expect watching your pizza be made from conception. rolling out dought puttig on toppings and baking takes about 15 minutes from start to finish and they will make multiple pizzas at a time so the lines move pretty fast. Dizzy cow is a ok with me and next season when they come back i will come back as well.

Being a native New Yorker, it’s been pretty hard to come by good or even decent pizza here in Baltimore. I stopped by Dizzy Cow after having passed them twice at the farmers market. I finally asked Ben what they had happening, and he directed me to the menu. They have a small selection, with options for everyone. I ultimately decided on The Frenchmen. Brie, figs, and honey all come together to bring you a slice of heaven. Prefect crust, excellent balance, and quite the thoughtful staff. I can’t wait to visit them again! Keep up the great work Evan, Ben, and Joshua!

I am a BIG advocate for street vendors and this place is beyond delicious! It is a mobile wood-fired oven taking over downtown Baltimore. This neat mobile truck offers selective pizza options. I ordered the Old Faithful which comes with tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil. I asked for roasted garlic and they did so at no extra cost. I also asked for more sauce than cheese which they perfectly accomplished. The crust had a perfect flaky crunch. The sauce had great texture and the cheese melted meticulously on the sauce. The pizza was perfectly balanced. It was served in about 5 minutes. Oh and they take credit cards. Come to NYC… please… thank you!

Came acres this mobile wood-fired oven at an outside event in downtown Baltimore. The pizza offerings were imaginative and appealing. I ordered an apple, mozzarella, feta and honey pizza. I was told that it would take only five minutes to prepare! Well, the pizza was ready when promised. The crust was«bubbly» with air pockets creating crunchy sections amongst the chewy texture. To add to the textural interest were slices of fresh apples that had not really been cooked; A result of the super hot wood oven. There were crumbly chunks at feta visible under the gently browned mozzarella, nice fresh apple sliced and honey dribbles across the pizza. The flavor was perfectly balanced. A touch of saltiness from the feta balanced with subtle sweetness of honey and apples. The best pizza I have ever had! Even better than the authentic ones which I had in Italy. My only regret is that I am visiting Baltimore and will be unlikely to ever enjoy this pizza again.
