I was in B’more for the weekend and saw that the second Sunday flea market was on– lucky me! Arrived around 10:30, kind of late, but lots of great stuff. Local ephemera, lots of jewelry(not really my bag), records, books, vintage clothing, housewares, etc. Prices were very reasonable, people were very friendly!

His and Hers Monkey skulls! Got there early, after the even earlier Sunday Farmers Mkt, You can get through this market in Less than than a Hour paying close attention to each table, What a shame I hurried buy many things at the Farmers Mkt to get here. See the several pictures of Cast Iron banks, a good deal If they are not Reproductions. Farmer Figures, Milk maiden Action figure! And the Gems and Skulls table, Has been there several times, Featuring His and Hers Skulls, a Gator skull, and other horned animals. Did not see the Olive Oyl Puppet Frances mentioned, see picture.

After a lackluster experience at Broadway Market Square on Saturday at the Farmers’ Market, I was thrilled to run into this antique market the following day. The Second Sunday Antique Market in Fell’s Point is full of great vendors. From nostalgia memorabilia, books, collector’s items, art, and even jewelry, this little market had so many gems. I didn’t have too much space in my luggage to lug a whole lot of stuff home, but I did buy a copy of T. S Eliot’s Four Quartets, Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns trade paperback, and a bracelet for under $ 8 total. Vendors are incredibly friendly and prices are super cheap. I fell in love with a vintage pair of binoculars, but I couldn’t justify the purchase. There were also a couple of awesome clothing vendors and a person selling tons of vintage toys. I would have totally gotten my mother this 1950s era Olive Oyl doll in its original box, but it was $ 40. A great place to browse and hunt for unique gifts.
