They do not de-poop their prawns. They don’t keep their fresh fish for sale on ice and there are flies all over it. Customer service is awful. They forget half the order every time. I’m over trying to give them another chance. I will stick with the floating fish market in coos bay.

Had the rockfish and cod fish and chips. Both were solid. It comes with a side of coleslaw or garlic toast and bunch of fries. The coleslaw and fries were really good. They give you a lot of fish too, like 5 good sized pieces. I eat a lot of fish and chips and these were definitely worth the money and it was delicious.

Quick place for lunch. It was packed due to misty and windy weather. Friendly service, not much seating, but the did delivered. I had the Long Cod fish and chips, and the chowder. The chowder wad good, just a little creamier than I prefer. Loved the Cod.

The fish and chips are amazing and large enough to share. We also got the clam chowder and it was delicious. Seating is limited so prepare to wait a few minutes for a table or just enjoy the food outside by the water!

I’ve never been to England so I can’t say for sure that this place sells the best fish and chips in the world, but I have traveled every mile of coast from San Diego to Vancouver. As such, I think I am qualified to declare Bandon Fish Market the best fish and chips on the west coast of North America! Portions are super generous(like 6 – 8 pieces of fish and a ton of fries, along with garlic toast or coleslaw) and the fish is always spectacular. My personal favorite is the ling cod(not always available) while the wife is loyal to the prawns and chips. The smoked salmon chowder is also good. Frankly we’ve never really had anything else on the menu because the fish and chips are so amazing!

What an adorable little place this is! Fresh fish, affordable and delish. The jumbo prawns come with 10 prawns, a huge thing of fries and coleslaw. Definitely shareable. Decent beer selection of locals and national brands. Hit this place if you’re in the area, for sure!

This was one of the best fish and chips that I’ve had in a very long time. Well worth the stop if your in Bandon to play some golf… you need to come here. The people were very friendly too.

We had Cod Fish and Chips,(Halibut was sold out,) is was Excellent! Also had the Prawns and Chips they were very tasty like little lobsters. The cole slaw is on the sweeter side with Cransins in it. It was good but I prefer a more tart slaw with fish and chips. Great place, great service. There’s a little wait for the food but it’s worth it to get such fresh fish.

We drove straight to the Fish Market as soon as we arrived in Bandon. It was raining, so there weren’t many people out. In fact, there was one table with 4 women, and another woman ordering fish to-go. The woman behind the cash register said just last weekend the place was packed and there was a line clear out the door, down the sidewalk. We ordered some things to share: First, a 22 oz. beer. The selection of microbrews is quite lovely(they also have fountain drinks and Henry Weinhard’s sodas). We opted for a porter from Three Creeks Brewing Co in Sisters, OR. The fish and chips. We opted for the Oregon true cod, which was trimmed nicely then perfectly fried in a not-too-heavy batter. The ‘chips’ were also deliciously crisp and flavorful. The fish and chips are served also with your choice of coleslaw or garlic-buttered toast. We got the slaw, which contained some dried cranberries, which was a surprisingly tasty surprise. The salmon sandwich. This sandwich is pretty non-fancy, which works beautifully to highlight the generous piece of fresh salmon. Served on a toasted ciabatta roll, along with some green leaf lettuce, tomato, and mayo. The centerpiece really is the fish, which is cooked perfectly and not at all overly seasoned. Comes with choice of small cup of clam chowder or coleslaw. We got the chowder, which was tasty, and excellently creamy without being overwhelming.

Still a 5-star in my book. These folks have been smart enough to keep their place small and their menu true to what they are best at — fish! Prices may look high on their chalkboard, but you will not be disappointed. It’s fresh, consistently good, and the portions are huge! I’m hesitant to talk too much about them because the line is sometimes long, but they deserve kudos for being THEBEST!

Very small but cozy/cute and clean place. The waitress was very friendly. Service wasn’t fast or slow, it took 10 — 15 minutes to get all of our food. The fish and chips were really good. The fried cod was not completely soaked in batter, but it still had a good amount on it. The cod was very mild, but juicy and fresh tasting. The French fries were great. I’d give the French fries a 10⁄10 rating. My mother-in-law ordered the salmon sandwich and clam chowder. She said it was delicious. The chowder was super creamy and flavorful. The sandwich was moist. They actually don’t put any mayonnaise or ketchup on it, it’s what it says, SALMONSANDWICH with tomatoes and lettuce. You have the choice of putting ketchup mayonnaise etc on it if you want. This place is a must stop if your ever in Bandon.

When driving up the coast in Oregon, we always take the time to stop in Bandon, for lunch. The fish & chips are delicious! You can enjoy either halibut or cod, along with perfectly seasoned, chips(fries). You can choose from either garlic toast or coleslaw, which I love because they add dried cranberries, which adds a unique sweetness to it. This place is small, with indoor seating, along with outdoor tables in an enclosed patio area, with a view of the Bandon Harbor. The food is cooked to order, so be prepared to wait about 15 minutes or so for your fish & chips. But you will be happy you did, as it is certainly worth the wait. I’ve returned here several times on my way back and forth to Portland, and no matter what time of day we arrive, it’s always very busy, so that’s a good sign!

We are staying in an RV park in Coos Bay and our hostess recommended this little fish place. We had a little trouble finding it because she couldn’t remember the name of the place, only that it was a «Blue Restaurant.» When we got to Bandon, we pulled over and asked one of the locals. Again, she could only remember that it’s a «Blue Restaurant.» I gotta say, it was worth the drive, and well worth the wait for our food. Everything was super fresh, hot, and plenty of it.

Really good fish and chips. I got the giant prawns and chips and it was great. Not too greasy and the batter was excellent. The service was great and the lady who took our order was really nice and helpful and asked us about condiments and sides and everything else. Since they make it fresh it takes a while but it’s worth the wait!

The Fish and chips were delicious. Hubby and I shared the cod and the rock fish chips and they were perfectly fried. Daughter had the crab & shrimp sandwich. The fries are really good as well. Patio area to sit and enjoy a cold beer. One of my favorite places to eat in Bandon. I look forward to our next visit.

Can’t miss this little blue shack on the waterfront! Fresh fish and chips, marina view, in Old Town Bandon, across the street from the Cranberry Sweets shop, I think we all had Cod Fish and Chips, all fresh, crispy, light batter, okay fries. There’s a somewhat sheltered, outside seating area on the south side of the building and a number of tables are available along the street side. A few additional tables are available inside. Another Unilocaler mentioned that they’re dog friendly here. Very friendly staff. Located in a large parking area on the waterfront.
