Dick’s Sporting Goods

This Dicks location is just like the others in that it’s clean, well laid out and inviting… but that’s where the positives end.
Keeping this short and to the point:
You may have the best store in the world, but when you sell sporting goods with clothes and shoes, you MUST have salesmen/​attendants/​managers around for questions and service. I spent about 5 – 10 minutes pacing every department around the shoes looking for ANYONE that could help me. After giving up (I was going to leave without buying anything at this point regardless), I took a lap around the whole store and still never saw one employee outside of the service counter or checkout.
I asked a couple that was trying on cleats with their son if they’d seen anyone and they had not either (figured they might be in the back).
They lost around $ 300 that day; I’ll always go back at least once to give a spot a second chance, but to charge high retail and not have customer service reps available… They’ll need to blow me away to change my rating.

I don’t like chain stores, but I do like Dicks. As an avid sportsman, soccer player, gym-​goer, I often need one thing or another, and despite the lofty prices of Dicks these days, I’m all about Dicks.
I like this location of Dick’s. They don’t always have as much stuff as the Transit one does, but they’re a million times friendlier and better than the one in Amherst and the one at the Galleria, and particularly for the friendly employees, I have to give them a 3, which is quite high from me, especially when it comes to chain stores.
There are Dicks everywhere these days. You will find Dicks in most cities, and they’re usually pretty big. This one is one of the better Dicks.

Was surprised to find out they do bicycle repairs. Was delightfully surprised what a good job they did for a lot less than other local bike shops.
They were also friendly and quick! And we didn’t even buy the bike there…
Definitely would go back not only for bike repairs put athletic clothing and ammunition great prices awesome place to shop.
Also got a $ 300 pull 3 person pull behind tube for our boat marked down to like 100 bucks lots of fun…
