The downtown location of CC’s has great Community Coffee, excellent service, and is pretty conveniently located on North Blvd. by Town Square. They have all the nice seasonal flavors that other CC’s locations carry, as well as a decent selection of food items. My only real complaint about this location is its limited hours. It would be nice if it were open later, and on weekends. Check this on Unilocal before you come to make sure you won’t be disappointed. Pro Tip: they actually have nice restrooms available in the building, through the side door and down a very nice hall. Ask the server for the code to the door. While you are visiting this facility, check out the impressive old vault. The building used to be a bank…

Very friendly service, nice atmosphere and jazz music playing to blend the mood with good community coffee.

CCs coffee over Starbucks hands down. This location has the best because it is always served with a smile and extra“Have have a great day” free of charge. The parking is an issue if you go during the day because there is only street parking. However morning time is fine and the staff more than make up for it. I stop here for my Grande mocha with whip even if it makes me a little late for work.

I like coffee is probably the answer as I like CCs and I like Starbucks — today however was CCs and no complaints here — missed a real lunch but the turtle mocasippi was a great substitute — tasty even on a day with temps in the 60s

Just like the name states, Community Coffee is our signature coffee. The quaint little shop is the perfect place to stop in and read the paper or browse the web on free WIFI away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Baton Rouge. The muffins and pastries are perfect for a light breakfast if you’re saving room for lunch at one of the other DT eateries. Be sure to stop by for one of their Limited Edition drinks to celebrate the season. I had the fudge mocha latte… perfect blend of hot cocoa and coffee.

Love CC’s! The atmosphere and staff are great and the prices are more reasonably than comparable coffee shops

This CC’s has coffee that is equal to all other CC’s, which is to say pretty good. What really sets it apart is that the staff is extremely friendly and talkative. If you’re lucky enough to patronize this establishment during non-peak hours, the baristas will congenially chat you up for as long as you allow them too. It’s folks like these that remind me why I moved to the south. Also, it’s near that one block in downtown Baton Rouge that actually has stuff to do on it.

was looking for a breakfast/coffee place downtown and CC’s Community Coffee House hit the spot. This is my first time trying community coffee(i had a café au lait) and it’s delicious(mind you, i’m not a big coffee drinker). I highly recommend the chocolate hazelnut croissant, it’s delicious. $ 5 buys you a croissant and coffee. The atmosphere is nice, I brought a book to read, so I enjoyed the brighter lighting(as opposed to the traditional cozy coffeehouse-can’t-read-worth-darn lighting)
