I just volunteered at an event that spayed and neutered 200 dogs and cats. I got to go with my mom to the Bay County Humane Society to pick out animals to get fixed for this event. The people working there are very helpful and nice. I encourage you to check out your local shelter before going to a breeder. The kill rate in this shelter is over 70% and they have such great animals here who need a second chance! I got to meet many lovely animals here, including many Pit Bulls who were more sweet than mean.
