For days I had soarness and cramping in my shoulders and mid back, so I booked a one hour Swedish Firm massage with an awesome masseuse named Libby.
I got horribly lucky that I threw my lower back out just an hour before our appointment.
She seriously kicked my butt. It’s never hurt so good. She applied the perfect amount of tough love to those muscles and she also recommended a local chiropractor to help me iron out the rest. I walked into Divine hunched over and was able to walk out standing straight up.
I’m really looking forward to coming back on a regular basis. And this place offers 6 and 12 month memberships which should help me save some money in the process.
They also do the other awesome spa stuff like facials and mani/​pedis, even hair!
Open late!
Parking is plentiful.
Prices are good.

WARNING do not sign up for the monthly membership here! This place automatically takes 10 minutes from your massage time, allotting it for «therapist preparation time»… that we get to pay for. On top of this policy, one of the hour long massages that I got here turned into a 40 min massage when the therapist was late getting my massage started, though I was on time for my appointment. When I asked to speak to a manager about this, management was never available and repeatedly neglected to call me back about the issue. After repeatedly calling and not hearing back from a manager, I decided to cancel my membership. Cue the ridiculous cancellation fees — a 30 day cancellation policy so you’re forced to pay for the next month’s massage AND a $ 49 cancelation fee for canceling within a year of starting your membership.

BEWARE! Avoid the chiropractor at all costs! My husband got me a combo massage/​chiro gift card. The massage was awesome. The chiro appointment left me wanting to visit a police station to press charges. I told him it was my first visit and I wasn’t sure what to expect. He proceeded to massage my breast tissue and asked me to take my shirt off «to reach the areas that needed to be worked better». Needless to say I was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. I learned afterward that even getting a massage is not normal for a chiro visit.
I ended up speaking with the manager who seemed very concerned and understanding, but never got back with me like she said she would. There is no way this was the first time this guy had done this. Please stay away from him. As far as I know he is still working there.
