I brought my stepdaughter here after discovering she had a problem with her eye during a visit with her optometrist. The young lady who answered the phone at this clinic was very polite, professional, and bubbly. She worked with my tight schedule and was able to get us seen the same day.
I met and spoke with two different doctors here, a younger man and a more experienced doctor, both of which were knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and extremely thorough. They thoroughly examined my stepdaughter for two or three hours, trying to determine the cause of her eye problem. They did not rush us through anything, and they discussed their findings together in depth with both of us in the room before coming to any conclusions. I did not feel left out of any research they performed, and I did not feel uncomfortable with any of their explanations. They explained their findings very well, and showed me as they went along what they were finding and talking to me about.
Although we were not able to make much progress on treating her eye problem, as it is most likely not able to be treated, I was referred to a retina specialist for a third opinion. As the eldest doctor who examined her eye put it, he «could be mistaken». I really liked that the doctors didn’t just say «too bad, so sad», and send us on our way. I also liked that the doctor wasn’t afraid to admit that despite all of his thorough research on her eye, he could still be mistaken, and recommended we see a specialist for a third opinion. I felt confident that they were doing all that they could to get to the bottom of the issue with her eye.
They scheduled us for a check up in a year, and gave me a pamphlet with a large variety of retina specialists to choose from. The young lady at the front counter is very helpful, and nice. She even offered to give us a school excuse for my stepdaughter, when both of us would not have even thought to ask for one. I really feel as though they took care of us extremely well.
Both my stepdaughter and I were very impressed and happy with the services provided by both of the doctors. I will go here again, if the need ever arises. Highly recommended.
