Happy Donut

While living in Texas, I had the wonderful benefit of learning about kolaches (oft referred to as kolace, kolach, or kolacky).
If you haven’t had them and are passing through Texas, be absolute sure to try one. They are like fancy pigs in a blanket. Basically. Warm, cheesy, yummy. Perfect with a cup of coffee. I ate them regularly while living in Houston.
Interstate 10 travelers, check this place out. It is only a short detour from the highway, and you have a selection of breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, croissants and donuts. They also have kolaches in the standard size, and the jumbo size. The jumbo size looks like a rolled hot dog. Haven’t tried that one yet.
And there is a tiny seating area if you don’t want to eat on the go.

$ 1.50 for a coffee and 6 munchkin doughnuts, are you serious! This place is going to put Dunkin out of business. By the time you satisfy your sugar/​caffeine craving are you really going to know the difference between this local little place or the big chain coffee shop other than having more money in your pocket! Scope it out!
