Tasty Cream Donuts

Tasty Cream serves THE BEST glazed doughnuts I’ve ever had. And I do consider myself a doughnut connoisseur.
Every time I eat a glazed doughnut from anywhere else, I end up disappointed.
The scent when you open a bag of these glazed doughnuts is heavenlyyy… seriously if they made a perfume to smell like it, I’d wear it. That’s how much I love Tasty Cream’s glazed doughnuts.
Tasty Cream is one of my go to places when I come home to Beaumont.

I’m really irritated with myself for not going to this place until this morning. I’m a Beaumont native who’s been living in Houston for the past 8 years, but I should’ve known better.
My sister told me about this place months ago, and since I happened to be in the area, I decided to give it a shot. The long line of cars was a good indicator that I was going to like this place. I ordered a jumbo sausage and cheese kolache, and a glazed donut. The donut was fresh, light and airy, and not too sweet. The kolache dough had a slight sweetness to it, but it worked out well with the smokiness and saltiness of the sausage. It was by far the best kolache I’ve ever had; waaaay better than Shipley’s. I added a bottled water to my order, which brought my grand total to 3 bucks and some change — very reasonably priced.
I wish that this place was in Houston, but no matter. I’ll add it to my list of places to go whenever I’m in town.

This is the ONLY donuts place that can compete with Mr. G’s. My sister thinks its better than Mr. G’s. The donuts are so soft and flavorful and the glaze is not to sweet. Fast, Fresh and Affordable!!!

The best kolaches I’ve had to date. The donuts are your usual donuts.

Quick, easy, convenient. This little hut serves the best kolaches in the land… yum!
