Maiale Di Volo

This is one of my favorite food trucks. They make delicious pizzas our of a mobile wood burning oven. They make them with fresh dough and fresh toppings right in front of you. I love trying their seasonal pizzas, which sometimes have ingredients not commonly seen in pizzas. I always look forward to them parking close to my workplace. Recommended!

I had Maiale Di Volo cater my rehearsal dinner in Salem, OR and it was AMAZING! Brett was incredibly responsive with all our emails/​phone calls and was super flexible with travel and amount of guests. The pizza is absolutely delicious and the pizza truck and Brett created the laidback-​casual summer vibe that we were looking for. They provide all the food and utensils and make everything so easy/​simple. If you’re a bride (or just anyone) looking for a pizza truck, this is it! Thank you so much Brett for making our wedding weekend so awesome!

I had them at a catered work event. They have quite the cool pizza setup. The sausage on the Diavolo was crazy good. And the marinara was just perfect. The Pancetta & fig — a great combo of sweet/​savory. This is some of the best pizza I’ve had in a while.

Good ingredients and good people equals great pizza. I love how you can smell and taste the smoke from the wood oven. I will be back to try the rest of the menu.

I can’t say enough good things about Brett and his pizza. So good. So fresh. We had him cook pizzas for 50 at our event and he was a huge success. My guests raved about his pizzas and his truck! I highly recommend him for a private party or special event!

If your driving by and you see this truck, you must stop and get a pizza. .. you will will not regret it. In my opinion, the best pizza in Portland.

One of the best new pizza trucks in town. The pizza is defiantly not the American crap you can get anywhere. The crust is simply delicious, light and flavorful. The sauce is a wonderful complement that lays the foundation for the fresh wholesome ingredients that come with these killer pies. The food comes out at fast food speeds with high end restaurant taste. Love the wood fire oven, this is what makes these pizza stand out in taste. And also the technique. When they first opened the pizza was good. But every time I go back the pizzas get better and better. Now I would say they are fantastic and only getting better. Simple pizzas to more interesting unique combinations. And please don’t ask to make your own. It takes away from the experience of getting a Southern European twist and the owner might frown at you. Trust me just, choose from the mouth watering menu. Furthermore, these pizzas are very healthy as far as pizzas go. All local ingredients, fresh everyday, you definitely can’t go wrong with that. Brett is the owner and runs the truck. He is a first class legit chef and it shows in the pizza. It is worth a trip to come and enjoy this wonderful food. The Margarita Pizza was really good. Nice balanced flavor and a great crust. Although all the toppings on the Amore Di Maiale were tasty, all of the meats combined on on one pizza made it too salty for my taste. I’m looking forward to going back and trying another combo.
